Re-L had expected to get a blush out of Shobei, or a bit of a stutter or a hesitation or something. Something to indicate that she had embarrassed the girl. But instead Shobei only seemed to find Re-L's tight a** comment to be comical and without a moments hesitation had a witty comeback that had Re-L on her heels once again. A very much grieved blush coming to her face as she struggled for words "I w-wouldn't think that my workouts.....I mean It's n-not that I'm t-trying to .....I -inhale- I-I never mind" Completely outplayed Re-L decided it was just best to close her mouth for the time being and recover before she said something that embarrass her beyond recovery.

Re-L settled into the comfortable leather of Shobei's care seats as Shobei began to blast electronic music through the speakers of her car. Heavy bass began to boom through the car and resonate throughout Re-L's body. Re-L wasn't very picky about music, so the EDM was alright for her to listen too and it gave her some time to think while they made their way to the party. Though she was doing a rather good job of hiding it, Re-L was actually very nervous about heading to her first ever party, let alone her first college party. The petite gymnast had never even been to a birthday party before and this seemed like a huge leap to her. The girl liked to take baby steps with everything that she did, but going from no experience to smack dab in the middle of a college party was the exact opposites of taking things slow. From what she heard, college parties were always the loudest and most extreme parties of them all, and she didn't know if she would be able to handle it. She was afraid that she would get swept away. 'calm down Shobei said she would look out for you, you trust her, everything is going to be fine' Re-L let out a small breath as she settled in to the seat.

"If I'm your prince that means you're going to ditch me at this party and leave something behind, I don't want that happening. So let's go with the fairy godmother? I'll grant you all your deepest desires to the best of my abilities." Unbeknownst to herself but disappointment flashed across Re-L's face, showing in her eyes when she received that answer from Shobei. 'What I expected' Re-L thought a bit solemnly, she instantly felt bad for thinking that way. It was selfish of her to expect Shobei to be her "prince" how stupid of her to think otherwise. Re-L forced a smile to her face, so that Shobei wouldn't think that anything was wrong. "Ok, well my first desire is -deliberating pause....and breath- is to not humiliate myself.......any further" The last part was spoken so quietly that Re-l doubted Shobei would be able to hear it clearly. She smiled as if she didn't say that extra bit and nodded "Think you're up for that challenge?" Re-L asked, raising her brow at her roommate.

Before she knew it, they had reached their destination Shobei pulling into the nearly packed parking lot. Re-L hadn't expected the ride to be so quick and now her nerves were coming back to her, but she didn't let them over take her. She took a deep breath as she slipped out of her shoes leaving them on the floor of Shobei's car, slipping her wallet inside one of them. "That was a very quick drive" Re-L commented in response to Shobei, opening her car door ad stepping out her bare foot touching the rough pavement. She really hoped she wouldn't step in anything while she was barefoot that would be absolutely dreadful. Closing her eyes Re-L drew in another calming breath while Shobei assured her that if she felt the need to leave all she would have to do was let the girl know. Which calmed her a bit. "Sooo...." Re-l started a bit nervously looking up at the sorority house where the party was being held, already costumedstudents lined the yard chatting and drinking and Re-L could hear music playing from where she stood. She looked for better lack of a term, like a dead caught in head lights. "We just walk in there" She asked her nervousness clearly showing.

"Ok. Fair enough" Re-L said to Shobei's first point, the girl was right it was just as much up to Re-L to avoid humiliating herself and she shouldn't put it all on her "Fairy Godmother". "But if anything goes terribly wrong -inhale- I will still -inhale- blame you." Re-L warned, clearly joking on that last point, she couldn't actually blame Shobei if she embarrassed herself, because it was an almost inevitable occurrence, like the sun rising it was just going to happen no matter what.

Speaking of becoming embarrassed very easily, Re-L was sporting a rather profound blush on her face now following a very sweet promise from Shobei. The girl had promised to make her smile so much that she wouldn't be able to become embarrassed and as weird as it sounded, it was probably also the kindest thing that had ever been said to her. "Don't try to hard now please -inhale- wouldn't want you to miss out on having -inhale- fun. Just because you're -inhale- looking out for me" Re-L said casting her eyes downcast just a bit.

Suddenly she felt Shobei moving against her and her blush deepened as she was dragged by Shobei who had hooked her arm around Re-L's into the Sorority house. Shobei continued to drag Re-L until they were in front of a table that held many bowls filled with ice and drinks. Despite their conversation from earlier Re-L had expected for only Shobei to grab a drink but instead her roommate told Re-L to pick one out so that they could toast. Admittedly Re-L was pretty nervous as she looked over the different choices of beer. She had no idea which one she should try, as she scanned the cans. In her mind, each can looked almost identical, so she just blindly reached out and grabbed one that she had seen in a commercial before.

Taking a bit of initiative she popped the cans seal, and held the can in both her hands as a bit of foam sizzled out of the opening she had created. She looked down at the can in her hands before turning to look at Shobei clearly wanting to girl to take the lead now. "Uhm so.... a toast then?" Re-L asked timidly holding her can up carefully, afraid that any quick movements was cause her slightly shaking hands to drop the can.

" I know we haven't known each other for very long, but I consider you my friend. And I like to keep my friends happy! Besides, there will be plenty more opportunity for parties and such. We're still freshman."

Re-L eyes widened a bit when Shobei said this to her. Sure she had considered Shobei a friend since the first time she had met the girl, but it was a very good feeling to have the girl return the sentiments so openly. Re-L hadn't had many friends growing up, never having money to hang out and always wearing the same outfits over and over again, high school kids didn't have time to hang out with poor people. But now Shobei seemed to just look past all of the signs even though they were obvious, Re-L's very thin build and limited wardrobe. No Shobei didn't see that, she only focused on Re-L's heart and it was amazing. "I consider you a friend as well -inhale- Shobei, and I am very like to have you as -inhale- one." Re-L said in a rush a smile overcoming her features as her brilliant blue eyes lighting up with happiness. "You saying that makes -inhale- me very happy." Re-L admitted in a bit of a whisper, as if this was one of her most embarrassing secrets.

But even spilling out a that small part of her heart didn't make Re-L blush or look away, she had nothing to hide from Shobei, she had only spoken the truth. So Re-L raised her beverage to Shobei's after Shobei offered the toast and she clinked her can against Shobei's glass bottle. "Too friendship." Re-L added, and watched as Shobei downed her beer in nearly an instant. The feat was so impressive to Re-L that the girl for got that she was also suppose to be taking a drink, her first drink.

' chug chug chug~ '

Re-L noticed students dressed in leopard print similar to Shobei and Re-L chanted encouragements to the two girls. Re-L let out a steadying sigh and resolved herself to just do it, she raised the can to her mouth and upended it quickly drinking every drop of liquid that came from the can before moving the can away with a gasp of air. The taste was....well.... awful, though she hadn't expected it to taste great. She had also forgotten that bear, like soda was a carbonated drink and now she had all of that gas in her stomach, which made her feel slightly bloated but that was quickly fixed by a slight burp that emitted from Re-L's throat, which quickly caused her to slap a hand over her mouth and blush furiously.

Re-L took in the resounding cheers and chants from her college mates as proof that she had been accepted into this little drunken frat and sorority circle. It was kind of funny to think about it, how just taking one alcoholic drink can have a full group of young adults cheering for you. It was so simple.

'whoa'

Re-L felt a bit of a rush, probably from the drink she had just had. She was a little off balance, and completely surprised now. She hadn't expected the drink to effect her so quickly, and she wondered if the dizziness would get worse. But for the moment it was manageable enough. Re-L was steadied very quickly by Shobei's hand in her hair, rustling her hair, something about Shobei running her fingers through Re-L's hair was very primal and the lust that Re-L was almost sobering. Almost. As Shobei lead Re-L onto the dance floor, the smaller girl was having a bit of a delayed reaction to what Shobei was leading her too. "Dancing?" Re-L asked quietly, but not with lack of confidence. Dancing was something Re-L could do, thanks to floor routines and overall awareness of her body, Re-L wasn't afraid to move, and she was eager to show that to Shobei.

Shobei seemed to be eager too see what Re-L had to show because the taller girl requested Re-L first dance. But it was the way in which the girl asked, leaning so close, her breath blowing against Re-L's ears and neck causing Re-L to shudder involuntarily and her confident affirmation came out as a bit of a shaky "Y-es" Re-L had stumbled a bit there but she was quick on the recovery, as she quickly matched Shobei's movements, very tempted to place her hands on those hips that were moving so alluringly, but she feared that would be crossing a line that might be impossible to reconstruct.

The dance floor was alive, that was the only way that one could explain it. The music was loud and the smell and the feeling of people around her made the experience feel almost realer then life. As Re-L danced with Shobei she found her self almost intoxicated with the experience and it wasn't because of the alcohol. The term "High on life" never felt so real. The feeling of Shobei's hands on Re-L's hips felt too good to imagine as the two matched each other in a rather alluring dance. Something about being in this environment tore away all of Re-L limitations making her braver and more daring, as she too placed her hands on Shobei, gripping her hips a little tighter then usual, but not enough to convey the true amount of lost that she felt for this girl in front of her. As Re-L ground her body against Shobei, in a way that would of made any sober mind question the "playfulness" of the gesture, Shobei began to dip, and dip and dip, and Re-L's mind went so far south that she was sitting on opposite ends of the world from Santa and all of his reindeer.

She imagined Shobei doing this to her, only in their room....naked, and in a totally different context. Re-L began to feel a bit light headed as pure arousal overtook her. She placed her hands gently on Shobei's shoulder pulling the girl up, as Shobei began to rise, soon Shobei was standing at full height her body pressed tightly against Re-L's. Re-L slightly craned her neck to look up at the girl as she giggled, at the moment Re-L decided that, that giggle was the single most cutest thing that she had ever heard. Re-L was staring at Shobei's lips now, lips that seemed to soft, and just perfect for...a kiss.. Re-L began to raise up on her toes, wanting to press her lips against those of her only friend. Every bit of Re-'s reluctance breaking, at this very moment she just didn't care, she didn't care if kissing her friend was not the best thing to do, she didn't care if Shobei might no be gay and she really didn't care if anyone saw them she just wanted to....kiss her. Re-L closed her bright blue eyes and raised a bit higher.

But before she could make contact with soft flesh. She was interrupted -how cliche- by the feeling of an extra pair of hands being placed on her shoulders, and the hot breath of a stranger in her ear as some unkown male whispered to her a question. "Do you wanna dance?" a very simple question. Very very simple, but Re-L didn't answer right away, she had just realized what she had been so close to doing, how close she had been to crossing a possibly unrepairable line. She almost wanted to go dance with the stranger so she could cool off for a moment and think over her actions, but she did not want to let Shobei go. As if too proove her point Re-L's arms moved down to Shobei's waist wrapping around the girl in almost a protective way. "No thanks -inhale- I'm with her!" Re-L answered her tiny voice straining to be heard, the male must have heard her just fine because he was rapidly looking between Re-L and Shobei a bit wide eyed. Only then did Re-L realize the implications of what she had just said. The way she had gripped Shobei and the way she spoke made it seem that the two were in a relationship.

Re-L turned nearly crimson as she quickly turned away from the boy, looking somewhere off to the side of Shobei, her eyes a bit downcast with embarrassment as the boy shuffled away. It took Re-L a few moments before she could look up at Shobei again "So should we continue-inhale- or.....do you want to get another -inhale- drink" On second thought getting drunk tonight sounded like a wonderful idea.

Re-L didn't know how she had expected Shobei to react to her actions. She didn't know if she expected her to step out of grasp and express as much confusion as the male had, or maybe since Shobei was her friend she would play along but express her distaste for Re-L using her as a scapegoat later. But instead she felt those soft lips that she had been fantasizing about only a moment ago against her cheek. Re-L's breath hitched, cutting her off mid inhale as her eyes grew a little wider as Shobei mirrored her actions against Re-L's other cheek. Every nerve in Re-L's face seemed to focus on those two very spots, trying to instantly store every facet of the feel of Shobei's lips against her skin

If Shobei wouldn't have started to speak, Re-L would have never moved, her feet would have been rooted to that very spot for all eternity, and Re-L wouldn't have cared; not one bit as long as Shobei stayed close by. But aforementioned Shobei did in fact start to speak and it knocked Re-L out of her trance and caused a fresh blush to spread to her already warm cheeks. Shobei seemed to think that getting another drink was an excellent suggestion and her bubbliness let Re-L know that she didn't feel cross about Re-L's words earlier what so ever, not that the kisses didn't do enough to prove that point.

"Ahh yea -inhale- uhhh this way then?" Re-L asked, unsure as to why she was so hesitant all of the sudden, she gripped Shobei's hand softly and pulled the girl along beside her, quickly reaching the table where all of the drinks were held. Re-L made sure to grab the same golden bottled beer that Shobei had drank earlier. She was sure that this particularly taste any better, she figured that there must have been something that had drawn Shobei to it. Re-L twisted the cap off with ease and pressed the lip to her mouth tilting the bottle and dumping more of the rather bitter tasting liquid into her mouth. While she was drinking Re-L noticed something out of the corner of her eye. There were a few students sitting in a small circle. each of them had drink in one hand and were holding the other hand up in the air, fingers extended. Re-L also noticed that some of the students had a few of their fingers folded into their palms. Re-L could see on of them start to speak, before seeing a groan come from a few of the student who quickly began to down their beer. This step began to cycle and Re-L found herself wondering what exactly they were doing.

Shobei was the only party goer that Re-L knew so she would assume that Shobei would know. "What are they -inhale- doing? Some drinking game?" Re-L asked Shobei clearly confused.



(the drinking game that they are playing is called "Never have I ever" or the ten finger game if I didn't do a good job explaining. Trying to get Re-L hammered out of her mind.)

Re-L nodded her head slightly to the strange name that the game had "Never have I ever...." Re-L tested the name, herself, and realized that if sounded familiar; like something she had seen in a movie or a tv show before. Though if she had seen it before, it would have been a very long time ago.

Re-L was slightly tempted to ask Shobei if she wanted to play, this seemed like the type of game that Shobei would join in on. But Re-L decided against asking, she didn't think she was ready to handle drinking games yet, after only have her first beer and a half there was no way she would be able to handle anymore. But as it was, that choice was snatched away from her by an excited Shobei insisting that they should join in on the game, giving only minor assurances that the game would be fun. Re-L should have seen this coming, she should have known that Shobei would pull her into this once she asked about it. What was that old saying? Oh yeah.

'Curiosity killed the cat'

As she and Shobei neared the group Shobei told the others that they would be joining in and they were instantly accommodated for, Re-L sitting on the floor within the small circle, hesitantly raising her hand with her five fingers extended, still a bit shaky on the rules as the game continued.

'Never have I ever, went down on a guy.'

Re-L face instantly turned beet red, not out of shame or guilt but due to the lewdness of the comment. She hadn't expected the game to turn so dirty so fast. She raised her eyes and darted them around the group, seeing a few girls drop a finger and take a drink. Re-L's eyes widened as she recognized a few of her teammates in the group, she wouldn't have known, no way at all to guess that they were so....open minded. Re-L's blue eyes slowly shifted to Shobei......had she?
