phoenix_echo The_Opera_Ghost Necrospirit The only thing I hate more then Pegans are Heritecs soo don't try it. wink HERETICS AND HERMETICS ARE NOT THE SAME THING!!!! hermeticism, if I havent already said this, originated in Egypt, by a man called Hermes Trismegustus, he is also known as the deity Thoth, Hermes is not a deity to hermetics though. However, hermeticism would still be classified as Paganism, dearest. i suppose. but yeah, started reading "initiation into hermetics" and it is awesome. *sakerra: i suppose i wouldnt be joining as much i would simply using their methods.

I am LDS all the way, I am not a member of any other religions, I just practice Wicca (another pagan religion) [/sarcasm] You want to better yourself, go for it, but do it the way we are taught. It simply doesn't sound like a good idea.

The_Opera_Ghost ive been looking into religions lately and i was wondering what ya'll thought of this. In some video games you can take a second profession, well in real life is it okay to have a second religion, mormonism will always be first for me, but is it okay to be both mormon and (insert religion here)? i would never pick one that goes against mormonism but still do ya'll think that would be okay? im even starting to get my life in order so that i can use my priesthood to do the things that other metaphysical studying and practicing people can do, but with the authority and approval of god. hey, ghostieo, remember back in a little book called exodus? "thou shalt have no other gods before me." God has told us that this is his one true church, picking another on the side would be like ordering a happy meal when you alreasdy have thanksgiving dinner berfore you. plus, god siad that no man can have two masters, "no man can serve both god and mammon." It's not a wise choice, and i think it's against the beliefs of the church.

I don't think Jon or any of us are trying to take OG's free agency away. when you think about it we can't, not only because it would be the wrong thing to do, but we're online. it's not like we could physically tie the guy down and make him choose the right. in the end it's his choice, sometimes when people are concerned they come off a little strong.
