Dakini gave an irritated growl. Whether it was because she'd been woken up from a nap or because her father and step-father weren't there was up to debate, but the small foal clearly wasn't happy. She shuffled up to the newcomer's hooves, sniffing at them and sneezing before settling by Roman's feet like the day before.

Remus blinked, unsure of what to do. He didn't have any younger siblings or cousins or anything; he and Roman were surrounded by adults. How was he supposed to act around a small, blanketed filly? Maybe "Daki" sensed this, because she only sniffed at him before turning to Roman. Well, and sneezing on him. That too. The colt made a face, shaking the snot off of his hoof. "The Crash is not amused," he grumbled. The little filly snorted, getting a glare from Remus. Did she think that was funny?!

Dakini gave a squeak of greeting and nodded her head to the question. But then she grunted and snuggled closer to Chaos's legs, nipping at them.

"Hi, Dakini," Remus greeted, smiling slightly when he got a squeak back. He turned when Ruin entered, looking up at the him. He nodded slowly, his slight puzzlement hidden by the awe of the flaming stallion's impressive presence. It was strange. Ruin was clearly a powerful Azrien and was the source of his mother's anger and fear... while at the same time giving her Remus and his brothers, which brought her joy. And yet... he felt nothing when he looked at the red-eyed stallion in front of him. No fear, no anger, no admiration, nothing that would establish in his mind whether Ruin was an ally or an enemy. Was this stallion really his father? Remus didn't feel at all like he had around Grimm or Delta. Even lesser-known relatives like his Great-Uncle Gamma gave him more of an impression than this. What was going on?

Demoni slid past his mate and step-sons, settling in the back of the cave and lifting his wing when Dakini abandoned Chaos to snuggle with her father. "Welcome back, Chaos," he said warmly. "And it's nice to meet you... Crash, was it? I am Demoni."

Remus nodded again, just letting the two demons call him Crash instead of his real name. Demoni? Hadn't he heard that name before? He knew he had, and not just in context with Ruin. There was something else and he couldn't put his hoof on it...

"H-Hey! Not the eaaaaar," Remus protested. "The Crash can come on his own!" Still, he didn't dare try to pull away from Roman's hold; he didn't want to further hurt himself.

Demoni chuckled as the boys left. "Quite the energetic one, wasn't he? He's nothing like Chaos. And yet he has just as much potential..." Though he wasn't sure Crash's personality would be as welcoming with Ruin's style of training as Chaos was, so while the potential was there, it wasn't likely to be explored as thoroughly.

Remus nodded, grinning. "I like the sand," he agreed. "But the air's too dry. It makes my tongue feel funny."

Tabitha shook her head enthusiastically, taking a few steps back. "Uh-uh." She didn't want to go see those colts. One of them was flaming! She didn't want to go anywhere near them.

Remus eyed the water-filled plant for a moment before eagerly drinking from it. He sighed loudly in relief. "The Crash is revived!" he declared before his ears caught the sound of someone calling to them. He turned and spotted a yellow filly heading towards them, followed by a second, more orangey one. "Hey!" he called back. He liked the color yellow. Maybe it was because that was his mother's color, but he liked that color.

"B-But Jaaaaane..." Tabitha fidgeted, still scared. She didn't want her sister to leave her, but she was even more scared to go back to her parents without Rev. Whining, she hurried after her sister. Why couldn't she be brave and charismatic like her siblings...?

Remus snorted at his brother's excitement, though he couldn't help be intrigued by the flame-like markings both of the fillies had. "I'm Crash and this is Chaos," he introduced, using their nicknames since they were still in the south. "Nice ta meetcha, Revelation, Tabby." He nodded to each one, a bright smile on his face. And hopefully welcoming, since "Tabby" seemed ready to bolt on a moment's notice.

"Hi," Tabitha mumbled, mentally cursing her sister. Oh, she'd called herself by the second half of her name, but for Tabitha she'd called her by her common nickname. Great. Just great.

Remus tilted his head in confusion before realizing that "Genesis" was probably Tabby. "Nomads, huh? That sounds kinda cool." Wandering around and going where they pleased... That sounded like a life he could live. Well, if he still could go home when he got tired of wandering. He didn't mention where they were from; he wasn't sure if Roman would be comfortable with that, since they were in the south.

Tabitha made a face when her sister's words reminded her of the fact that she'd been dragged along against her will. Still, the two seemed alright...

Remus kept looking over his shoulder at the receding fillies. They seemed nice. And they had such interesting colors... He forced his gaze forward when he nearly tripped, trying to cover up his mistake.

Tabitha was immensely relieved when her mother arrived. She contently trotted after her and Revelation, not glancing back once. Those colts were nice, but this wasn't the way she wanted to meet others!
