"Well I dunno..as I've traveled these past few months I've felt like something was missing. I think my heart was missing you." he said wincing a bit from her jab. "I have to say for a dream you really hurt." he lightly teased kissing her cheek.
"How will he take knowing you were knocked up by a Human?" He then asked rubbing his elbow.

"Har har har..." Khira muttered tightening one of the strings as it had come loose during her latest song.
"And he should take it considerably better now that you're by my side but you're bound to still face some heat from him. You might try growing a beard and seeing if that helps anyway." Khira smiled at the thought of Jake with a big long wizard's beard.

Scraching his chin he chuckled. "A beard huh? Would you like me to grow one?" he asked with a wink.
The mage could take a punch or two from an angry dwarf if it meant keeping her by his side. Laying back he stared up at the stars. "We probably should get some sleep. I don't know about yout but I've had a long day that's for sure." he said looking up at her.
"We'll restock in the town and maybe stay a few days if you want. After all I want to make sure you and our children are fine and well rested." he smiled placing a hand on the side of her belly gently.

Khira shrugs. "Up to you. But you know dwarf men and their beards, the longer the beard the more respect they get. And aye, we should. I've had a long day of walking about searching for clues where to find you." Khira blushed slightly as Jake planned to see her well rested and cared for. "I don't need that long of a rest, but if my knowledge of the area is correct there should be a natural hot spring about half a days walk from the next town."

He doubted he could grow a beard that large, but would try anyway. As he magically put out the fire he cuddled up to her. "I see, well we'll have to pay a visit to that hot springs first won't we?" he smiled gently caressing her cheek. "Tomorrow though." he yawned then eventually fell asleep. Magic took alot out of him so it was easy for him to fall asleep quickly.

"I'd rather not have to haul all our stuff up to the hot springs with us but we'll worry about that..." Khira said with yawn. Pulling her large deep green, almost black, travel cloak out from under herself, Khira tossed it over the two them and snuggled beside Jake, her warmth becoming his and his becoming hers. She quickly fell asleep listening to Jake's heartbeat and drumming her fingers atop her large belly.

They slept peacefully together. Jake snuggling into her warmth happily holding her in his arms. When morning did come, he found that he was stuck. Khira had her belly completely on top of him, she was laying on her side, and it was pinning him down to the ground. Apparantly she was very cuddly in bed because it felt like she was trying to prevent him from escaping. One of his arms numb he just smiled at her while she slept and laid there hoping she would wake up soon.

(Lol, given how Jake left her once already I'm sure she wasn't going to be takingg any more chances... ^^) With her head nestled up against Jake's chest, Khira slept soundly through the night, her keg sized belly giving her little problems as soon as she got settled. "Five more minutes father..." she muttered, rolling onto her back, freeing Jake from the weight of her growing stomach. However, she took much of the cloak/blanket with her and continued to use Jake's arm as a pillow. "Hmm, yes. I'll take a belly rub." she added, still dreaming.

(lol probably not) Jake sighed happily feeling the weight of her belly leave his ribs. As he looked over it was funny how mountainous her belly looked as she lay on her back. Though he couldn't help at blush at her cuddling his arm like a stuffed toy. Of course some of it was stuck inbetween her hefty chest so he was a little shy about that as well. So she was dreaming of a belly massage? Maybe she was being pampered or something. With a tender smile Jake raised a free hand and quietly chanted. A pair of magical hands now began to massage her belly as she slept. He would do it but she was using his arm and hand as a pillow. She was really beautiful, and in some ways he was glad she was carrying his children. Jake hoped she would awaken soon, they needed to get going. The town wouldn't be too far of a walk and they both were probably going to get stares, but he didn't care. This honestly wasn't the first time anyone had heard of a Dwarf and Human couple. In fact a daring pair broke the ice between the races fifty years ago, and in some cases some of the Dwarven clans thought it good luck for their daughters to marry a Human. Though carrying children was the only slight problem as their bellies tended to be a bit larger than carrying a Dwarven child. Khira's belly probably wasn't done growing yet either. They would have to think of something when she got too big to move around well. For now he let her sleep.

"Hmm right there honey..." Khira muttered, purring as the magical hands gently massaged the tender flesh of her swollen belly. Sadly the moment didn't last. "OH!" Khira lurched up, suddenly very awake as her innards were attacked from the inside by the children within her large womb. Wincing slightly, Khira looked down at a very surprised Jake. "Oh morning sweety. Hope I didn't wake you..."

Jake grabbed his arm and began to shake it away wincing a bit as he felt the blood rush back into it. The magical hands vanished when she suddenly jolted up. "Uhh...g-goodmorning." he replies sort of surprised by her sudden and abrupt awakening. Once his arm and his hand were fine he turned and pulled Khira into a goodmorning hug and kiss. "Did my lovely Dwarf sleep well?" he asked gently. "How about we head to town now and get some breakfast before we head to the hotsprings?" he asked as his hands were now gently massaging the sides of her belly trying to calm their children.

"Reasonably enough considering we was just roughing it on the ground." Khira answered, shedding the cloak they'd been using a blanket, exposing her plump pregnant body to the warmth of the sun's rays and its cool breeze. Khira's belly roared in agreement with Jake's plan before she even got a chance to answer. "Well good morning to you too..." She said, gently rubbing the curves of her pregnant swell. "But that sounds like a plan to me. Help me up?"

Standing he smiled. "Sure anything for you honey." he said holding out his hands and helping the pregnant dwarven woman up. Looking down it was funny how she only came to about his stomach in height. Still that didn't matter one bit. Using his magic to gather, and store everything, he took her hand and the strange couple began their trip to the town. It wasn't that far, so they made it still in the morning hours. A few people stared at them, well mainly her because of how big and exposed the woman's belly was. Finding a resturant, Jake led her to a table and sat next to his lover. "I figure you shouldn't be drinking so I brought you to a resturant rather than a tavern." he wispered to her as they waited for a waitress to get their order. (think tavern wench, but only fancier. xD We can skip them ordering and even eating if you want to. We don't need to play out every scene. If you want to skip past breakfast, or have them just being done with it that's fine with me. :3)

(I'm cool with anything, but skipping the eating and ordering seems like a good idea as those parts tend to be slow.) Khira smiled as Jake explained his reasoning about the current location. "While human women are discouraged from drinking while pregnant, dwarf women are a whole different story, as I'm sure you will learn shortly..." Khira replied. Nonetheless Khira took the tankard of cold water the waitress brought her and drained a good portion of it, some of the water escaping her lips and spilling down her white shirt. Their meal was uneventful but Khira continued to surprise Jake as she packed away a great deal more food than he thought she would be able to contain. Her excuse, "Eating for three and two of em are human sized..."

Jake had finished eating a while ago, and was amazed at how much she was packing away. Were all Dwarves this way? Feeling a bit over his head, he was finally glad when she was full. Now rubbing her stuffed belly he couldn't feel their children as much. They were probably just as full as she was. "So you can drink huh? Well as long as it's alright and it won't hurt you or our children..I don't mind. After all they can probably take it, they're have Dwarven anyway." he said to her softly as his hands massaged her massive full stomach. They were going to have to find some maturnity clothes for her, if she could find something that fit.
