Teacher Cheeze

Devral wrote on the paper describing his shadow abilities which, unfortunately, only amounted to two for the time being. Shadow lightning, how he can concentrate it in one place, such as his hand, or let it move about his body like an electric aura. And Shadow Camoflauge, nothing special, just able to wrap the shadows about his form and making himself sort of... invisible, to others.

As for his personality he wrote about the fact of how anti-social he was, he didn't like people, didn't like being around people, didn't like talking to them, doesn't want anything to do with them period. If ever there was anyone that bothered him too much for too long they'd have to be taken care of, one way or another. Not to mention the only company he prefers was his own.

He stood up and walked forward to the desk, stared at the teacher for a brief moment with a blank expression, then set the paper on his desk before him before turning around and walking back to his desk.

When he named the book it seemed like a very dangerous book. My brow raised as I thought of the danger. "You sure it's safe to try such arts?" I ask with worry in my voice. "In Egypt the book of the dead was considered very dangerous.... or at least their version was." I mumble as I sat back down at my desk.

Devral snorted and spoke quietly as he walked back to his desk in the very back of the room. "Very doubtful, the habit of a thief is hard to get rid of. I trust no one, I have been given no reason to start doing so now." He sat down and said nothing more.

Devral looked behind him at the teacher with the same blank look on his face, "Ha! You copy the powers of others, technically that is called stealing, since you are not asking permission to borrow their powers." Though his expression was blank he was tense in case he needed to defend himself. He turned around and flicked a small piece of dust off his desk, "And its ex-thief to you. I was a thief to take what I needed to survive, I had the instinct to live, anyone would have done the same. I have no reason to take things anymore, to do so in this academy would be absolutely foolish if not suicide."

Devral turned to look at the teacher, a dark flame seemed to shine in his eye but that was all, "So what if I am? Does it matter? Its just faster to learn from someone else than it is on one's own." He snickered, "But its hard to learn anything when the teacher isn't doing any teaching now isn't it?"

-writes something in my little notebook then snaps it closed putting it away-"A trouble maker... I see you like to start stuff... How about we head outside now? for the daily lesson. Were we are going there is no darkness. Devral so cheer up and make friends! team work is the only way to do it..."
