*Veria nodded as she placed her head down and closed her eye, "i know the feeling. You mean alot to me, your the only one that can. An dyour mean a lot to our child. And although you may not know it, i think Uncle... still belives you will be there when he needs you most." She looked to him softly, "perhaps you would like your old job back of being a gaurd for him? As long as you teliport home at night... i can alow that." She smiled, "i can always talk to you in your head if I needed you." She kissed him as she whsipered, "would that be okay?"
Meanwhile shortstraw leaned, "this could be alittle scary if she grows up with a crush on kyle... however maybe it's just a little thing. Theres no point in taking them appart, she's becoming sivilized without us needed to fully teach it..." He chukkled, "cant beat that." he whispered. Meanwhile Eve seemed to be eating slowly, as she always would. She got a kick out of Evelin, "gonna be a big strong girl like me and your momma?" She suddenly got up and went into the fridge then poured a cup of milk and sat it down for Evelin, "kyle cant have any milk becuse it's bad for sick people, but if you really wanna be big and strong..." she held up a glass of milk for herself as she sat down, "Milk is the best drink to eve have." She started to drink some, hoping maybe she made a connection with Evelin this time. Meanwhile theador suddenly took the jug of milk and started trying to chug the whole thing down as shortstraw laughed and quickly pulled it away, "son... son... hey now okay lets use a cup to get strong." He chukkled, "thanks Eve." Eve held up the cup and wiped her mouth, "with plessure. Gotta spred the secrite."

Evelin stared at the glass of milk and carefully took it in both of her little hands and carefully drank it all down like it was a special potion to give her super powers. Kyle chuckled lightly at her. "You feel all tingly yet?" Evelin stared at Kyle then looked to Eve and shook her head. Kyle grinned. "Then maybe you'll grow in your sleep." Evelin looked back to him. Kiera put her hands on her hips. "Milk, huh. All these years the key to the ultimate power has been lying in my fridge." Suddenly the front door opened again and a cat's howl was heard as the door shut again. Evelyn came into the kitchen, wearing five layers of jackets and coats, although still caked in a thick layer of snow. She looked grumpy, oh so very grumpy. Kiera burst out laughing as did Hana. "Kitty." Evelin glanced over. Kiiro turned her head over. "Welcome back, Onee-chan." Evelyn scowled. "I've said this once and I'll say it again. I really. Really. Really hate snow."
Cale smiled as he put his hand on her head gently. "That's fine, Veira.. I want to be around as much as possible. Besides, I doubt Mordekai would let me have that job back after all." He smiled more. "It's fine, really.. I'm all right."

*Veria shied as she shook her head, "i want you to be happy babby." She nuzzled into him and closed her eyes again yawning, "happy..." she was out like a light. She didn't even have much energy left becuse she spent most of it trying to teilport alover the place in small timeframes, that and the worry of things was getting to her.
Meanwhile in the kitchen Shortstraw jumped right up and tried his best to help her, "sorry i would have helped if i knew where you went this morning." He chukkled, "i know water and you dont mix." Soflora had her hed on the table, "at least it dosn't burn you." Shortstraw chukkled, "though you can't posably be cold." He chukkled and patted her head. "So what goodys did you bring home?" He looked around. He susspected keria sent evelyn for somTHING. Meanwhile Theador was hiding under the table now, hiding under his mothers legs form evelyn. He did this ever time he saw her now. seemingly frightend.
Eve however looked to Evelin, "lisen sweety cheeks, your not going to be big and strong out of now where, or over night. You have to drink at least a cup of milk each day, and you have to eat three meals a day to get strong." She patted Evelins head, "trust me i'd know." She smiled as she looked to kyle with a wink as she then looked to keria, "been meaning to ask... can I distroy my old room and start anew?"

Evelin stared at Eve then looked to Kyle for confirmation of Eve's information. Kyle nodded and patted her head. "She's right you know." Evelin nodded, determined. "O-okay." Kiera was about to answer Eve's question when she noticed Theodore under her. "Well uh-" She ducked under the table and pulled Theodore out and put him on her lap. "I suppose so. As long as you don't damage anything else around your room." Kiera smiled and looked to Theodore. "You know kitty isn't that scary. She's not going to hurt you, you know." Evelyn held up a few bags. "Clothes, mostly." Evelyn shook herself off and shifted into a cat to shake off all her fur properly. "For the kids and Kiera. The kids are growing out of their stuff at the moment." Kiera smiled to Evelyn. "I would have gone myself Evelyn, I'm sorry." Evelyn shook her head. "No no, it's fine. I was the one who offered." She shuddered. "But I still hate snow." She looked to the window and hopped up onto the table. "And it's getting worse out there."
Cale smiled and hugged her close as he leaned down and kissed her forehead. "I know." He laid there in thought, unable to sleep as he was. Although happy being wrapped around someone he loved.

*Theador barried his head into kerias chest to hide himself. Shortstraw however shook his head, "i dont get it. He started doing this two weeks ago out of the blue. Now whenever he sees evelyn he hides." He walked over and patter Theadors head, "ohhhhhhh i think i get it. You feel her Demon Aura dont you." He looked to keria, "from my side. IT's like a super sense for demon aura. Evelyns is.... massively huge to the point it could hurt." He chukkled and took theador, "come on buddy we need to go talk for a moment. Okay." Theador hugged shortstraw as he headed out the room for a moment. Meanwhile Eve looked to Evelyn, "i pictured you as a fat lazy cat by now." She chukkled, "so now your the nanny huh. Thats new." She chukkled, "a demon nanny thats just funny." She chukkled more. She then stood up and put her plates aside, "well i gotta... go get some little things done before some other stuff soooo... later guys." She walked over and squtted next to Evelin, "goodnight. It was nice meeting you." She smiled and stood up patted evelins head and headed for her old room.
At this point lilly looked to Evelyn, "did you get anything for yourself? You dont seem to ever change." She chukkled, "dosn't that clothing smell after a while?" She laughed, "i'm just messing with you of course." Just then shortstraw came into the room without theador, "hey... evelyn we have to sorta drill this thing in i think. So i will need you to stay close to theador alittle more... but not actully touching him. If he can get used to your aura, it will help him out alot." He chukkled.

Evelyn glanced to Shortstraw. "If you say so." She scoffed. "I don't blame him. My aura scares a lot of demon now, too." She hopped onto Shortstraw's shoulder and looked back to Lilly. "And it doesn't really matter if I never change my clothes in my human form. That form is just a picture with no real properties. It shows what I was like but not what I was. Not to mention I don't sweat or anything." Kiera leaned back in her chair. "All these years and we still don't know everything about you and your forms." Evelyn flicked her tail to the side. "I'm a closed book." She grinned. Dante stretched his arms above his head as he stood up. "Well I think I'm going to go to bed. I'm real tired." He walked behind Soflora's chair and hugged her from behind, putting his head on her shoulder. "You tired too?" Hana frowned at them. "Ew, keep the lovey-dovey stuff to a minimum at the table please." She stood up from her seat and looked to Lilly. "Thanks for the food Lilly. It's great to be having good quality food again." Hana sauntered out of the room with her hands behind her head. Evelin looked to Kyle. "Sleep with you?" Kyle laughed a little and shook his head. "I don't think your mom will let you do that, Evelin. I'm sorry." Evelin frowned. "But..." Kiera looked to them both. "Evelin, don't you want to sleep in your own bed?" Evelin scowled and shook her head. "No. I wanna with Kyle." Kiera frowned a little. "I'm sorry sweetie, but he might want to sleep by himself." Evelin looked back to Kyle. "I don't want you catching my cold, Evelin." Evelin frowned more. "Don't care..."

*Shortstraw shied and picked up Evelin, "well too bad you are going to sleep in your own bed tonight becuse daddy says so. And if you teliport or draw out, then daddys going to be vary mad okay, then things will not be so fun anymore becuse you wont be alowed to see kyle tommorow. So be good for me princess and go to sleep in your own bed tonight." He chukkled, "good night everyone, good night kyle." He looked to evelyn on his shoulder, "you get to sleep with us tonight..." He used his head to nuzzle into her lightly, "cuse of theador of course..." that was a great excuse, he just like having evleyn and keria there in all honisty.
Meanwhile Solfora nodded and got up "of course. I've been waiting all day for some good sleep." Meanwhile Lilly called out, "glad you enjoyed the food good night."
However at midnight Eve slowly and sneakily walked into Hanas room to lightly wake her, "hey... lisen i'm going to be heading out for somthing. I have a secrite favor to do for a great freind of mine. Dont tell anyone and hold the fort." She stood fully and put her hands on her hips, "i figured i would warn you before i left."

Hana rolled over in her bed and squinted. "Since when did you keep in contact with great friends of yours?" She said sarcastically. Hana rolled back over and yawned as she snuggled back into her pillow. "Yeah sure, whatever. I won't tell anyone.." She yawned again. Evelyn was restless that night, she didn't get a wink of sleep. Most of the night for her was spent pacing back and forth and staring back at Shortstraw and Kiera. She mumbled to herself every now and then, then sat down at the end of the bed. She turned her head suddenly at hearing somebody downstairs but she relaxed in sensing it was just someone who was already in the castle. It was little Kyle downstairs, but Evelyn didn't care enough to find that out. Evelyn was mostly concentrated on her own devices. " You all right there?" Cale leaned in the doorway of the living room. Kyle sat on the window sill with his legs crossed, staring outside. "Its not snowing anymore." He looked up to the clear night sky. Cale folded his arms over his chest. " You know you should get some sleep, kiddo. You'll be pretty tired tomorrow." Kyle didn't look away from the sky. "What about you?" Cale tilted his head. " My sleeping schedule is whack." Kyle nodded a little and there was a short deafening pause. "You know, my father said my mother became one of the stars." Cale's eyes thinned. "I knew he was lying to make me feel better. My mother is wherever my aunt is." Cale concentrated. " So what?" Kyle blinked. "Do you know where sinners go when they die? Hell. But they're not in Hell. Was my aunt truly a sinner?" He seemed so expressionless it creeped Cale out. He didn't dare walk into the room. "Do you know where my mother is?" Kyle turned his head and while his hair blended in with the dark background his orange eyes were illuminated. Cale frowned. "Isn't this something you should be talking about with your dad?" He asked cautiously. Kyle seemed disappointed as he looked back out of the window. "Father blocks painful memories out of his mind, he wouldn't know where to start without having a panic attack." Kyle shut his eyes. "Thank you for the concern, but if you don't have anything useful to say, I'd rather be alone." Cale scowled but did as Kyle said, and disappeared. That kid just was too eerie. Like he was distant in his own little world. Not to mention he acted like he wasn't only just over six months old. Cale knew Phoenix children grew quickly but Jesus, Kyle looked only ten and his vocabulary was better than Cale's. ((I have two pictures to show you ouo First the one of Hana and Eve,  And then I did a little comic of Evelin and Kyle~  ))

*Theador woke up slowly, beinghe went to bed early and carfully watched from the farthest corner he could of the crib. Staring at Evelyn as in fear. However what his father told him echoed into his mind. Still he was unsure, he could feel it... but what was nanny worryed about? He could sense it, see it.
Meanwhile Eve headed out finally after agreeing with hana and dissapeared out into the snow.

Evelyn rubbed her eyes and looked to the side. She needed to go as soon as Kiera and Shortstraw woke up. She stood up again and started to pace once more, before walking over to the window. What time was it? Goddamn it, she wished morning would come. And when it finally did come and Kiera woke up, Evelyn quickly explained to her that she needed to go for a little while. Upon asking why, Evelyn continued to be as cryptic as she usually would to get out of situations and just confused Kiera in her half-asleep state. Once Evelyn was gone, Kiera squinted and got out of bed. "Well then..." She shook her head and glanced over to the window, then to Evelin's crib. Thankfully she was still there, although awake, looking grumpy. Kiera smiled. "Good morning missy." Evelin blinked at her mother and looked away.

*As soon as Evelyn dissapeared theador hopped up and went o climb out of his crib. After getting out he smiled but suddenly his arm cought on fire. As he looked to it his eye widened and he waved it around while running in circles. Meanwhile the flame didn't seem to disperse or nothing. about this time shortstraw would slowly awake and sit up, "ohhh... good morning hunny." He kissed her half asleep and looked to theador before he woke fully up, "woh is he on fire!" Theador was still in cicles however getting dizzy, "ahhhhaaaa"

Kiera blinked and quickly got to her feet to rush to Theodore. "Honey-" As soon as she placed her hand on him the fire disappeared. Kiera laughed a little and took Theodore up into her arms. "Oh my.. seems someone's going to have to get accustomed to spontaneous combustion." She smiled and nuzzled her forehead against Theodore's. "Momma's got you." Evelin stared up at them both and looked to her own hands. Could she do something like that? She wished she could be like her mommy and control fire as easily as she could, that would have been so cool.
Mordekai woke up next to a sleeping Kyle. Little did he know that Kyle had been up most of the night before finally giving into himself and going to collapse next to his father. Mordekai just thought it was cute, Kyle coming to sleep with him. But rather it was just Kyle lacking the energy to go to his own bed. Mordekai got up and placed the covers over Kyle before making his way out of the room and down the stairs.

*Shortstraw walked over to Evelin this time, "dont worry hun your a Yokai, you most likly have fire too. I'm the only one that i think dosn't." He chukkled and smiled to her, "i see you did as i asked and stay here." He picked her up, "when kyles awake, if he isn't already, then you can play with him okay." He nuzzled her before kissing her forhead, "I love my princess. You remember that okay, daddy dosn't like being mean but when he is it means there's always a good reasion." Theador however looked at his arm and waved it around then looked to keria, "it eats me." He replied conffused. He didn't fully understand where the fire came from or why it was on his arm. The only time he had seen fire was basilcy when lilly was cooking off the stove. Though he understood, his mommy was a fire lady. Much like his auntys eve and veria. He held up his hand, "am i like you mommy?" He blinked. So far everything was mostly like shortstraw. He thought fire was a girl thing.

Kiera smiled and nodded. "You're made from part of me and part of your daddy, so you have some of my fire right in there." She pointed to his chest and nodded. "Although controlling fire is a very big responsibility, do you understand that sweetie?" She asked with a smile. Evelin blinked at her father but nodded solemnly. "Yes daddy.." She knew, to get what she wanted she had to obey her parents. Only her parents, though. Other people didn't have that kind of authority over her, she thought. Evelin looked to the side. "Kitty gone..." She observed.

*Shortstraw nodded, "Yea your right were did Evelyn go. Maybe she went down stairs or to go see kirro." He smiled, "come on it's breakfast time." Theador nodded, "I a big boy now!" He flexed his little musles, thinking fire made him a compleat big boy. He however looked to Evelin, "dose sissy have too?" Shortstraw nodded int he background, "of course. You and your sister are two halfs of a whole. meanwing your both part of us." He tickeld evelyn as he took lead to head down stairs for breakfast.
