Lillian Lancaster smiled as she watched the children eat the candies. She gently retook each of their hands and nodded, looking at them. "Yes dears. It is time. Now, hold on tightly. Alright? Ok. Here we go" She said as she closed her eyes. She visualized the street and then. They were gone.

Location: Home “Right…” Alice said holding tight. “Yes.” Jasper replied not wanting to find out what would happen if he didn’t hold on tight. Alice and Jasper both looked at one another one last time before closing their eyes. Jasper wasn’t exactly a fan of the feeling as they disappeared. Alice on the other hand found it to be weird but tolerable to say the very least. Probably because she was too busy thinking about how much fun they would have shopping. It wouldn't be long until they were in Diagon Alley. Location: Home Alice was skipping through the garden with Jasper not far behind her. Watching her Jasper was deep in thought he was curious about something but didn't know how to bring in up in general conversation. As Alice spun around to face him he put a smile on his face. Alice smiled back at him although she could easily tell that something was bothering him. "Jazz what's wrong?" Alice asked as she stopped on the spot. "Nothing's wrong." Jasper told her as he walked up to her. "I know there's something on your mind." she told him clearly unconvinced. "I'm just curious about something and don't know how to ask about it." he explained as he wrapped his arms around her. "Well you could just ask." Alice suggested. "It may not be that simple." he told her. Alice shook her head what could be so difficult to ask. "I'm sure it's not hard. Who are you asking?" she asked him. "I'm thinking of asking Colville." Jasper answered. "Dad..." she corrected. "Well when he comes home you should ask him." she added with a bright smile. "I'll think about it." he replied letting her go. Whatever he wanted to ask their dad about Alice was sure he could find the words to say it. Status: Happy With: Jasper Status: Happy With: Alice OOC: ---((Outfits in pics))

Location: Home Jasper was sitting in the common family room reading a mystery novel wondering when Alice was ever going to come down from her room. She had been in her room picking out her outfit for the day which he knew took her hours to go through. Just as he closed his book and was about to get up and go look for her Alice skipped into room and came to Jasper's side with endless excitement. "You look beautiful today." he told her as she wrapped her arms around him. "Why thank you Jazz you look equally as handsome." She told him as she leaned into him. “I would hope so you picked it out.” He told her with a smile. “So you seem excited about something.” Jasper told Alice as she released him from her hug. “Well you should be to I want us to go to Diagon Alley and get our wands and outfits.” Alice chimed happily. “Uh… don’t we have to wait for the parentals to take us?” he asked her. “Oh Jazz don’t be silly we can go without them.” She answered. “I don’t know Alice… let’s not get to ahead of ourselves.” Jasper told her calmly. “Jazz!” she cried completely over exaggerating. “Ali!” he cried back at her. This caused Alice for a moment to blink in confusion. “How about this if they aren’t around in say a half hour we’ll go just the two of us? Sound alright to you?” Jasper asked. “It sounds… reasonable…” Alice said with defeat. It was sadly the best he could do… Status: Excited... and yet Disappointed... Lillian Lancaster was quietly humming as she made some tea and biscuits. She had also made some frosted cakes earlier that day and lunch. She left the kitchen after applying a cleaning spell to her person and the cooking area. She then went to find her children, hopping they were hungry. However she heard some of the conversation. It was not safe for them to go out alone! They could be hurt or worse, get lost or... Or... Her head begain to spin and she put her hand over her heart. Her darling children... It was shocking. Her form was out of sight from the children and she did not know what to do about this. She turned to look for her husband.

Walking around the house, Colville had just helped his eldest daughter, Sera, on some tips for OWLs for her next year, now thought it would be better to let the girl study and have some fun with the rest of the family. Half-walking, half-jogging, he made his way to the children, hoping to find his loving wife there too. It wasn’t hard, actually (to find them), since you could clearly hear their voices echoing. As simple as that, Cole followed the sound of the voices, only to find that Lillian, his wife, was also going to the same direction. However, she stopped on her tracks. Curious to her peculiar behavior, the male brunette also halted, slowly inching closer to better hear them. Okay, simple words for understanding. Diagon Alley. Wands and outfits. Parents to assist them. Going there without them. Coleville turned pale after hearing that, though he first kept his mouth shut. Half an hour, then they would go without them.
’This is absurd,’ the male thought, blinking before coughing gently to alert Lillian of his presence. As soon as she recognized him, he placed his forefinger to his lips, then whispered, ”Shhh, I’ll talk to them. We can go to the alley later to get their stuff.” And with that, he gathered air into his lungs and walked normally, sitting down near the two. He took out his wand and waved it. Instantly, his favorite mystery novel—which he had read for a couple of times already—flew to his hand. ”It’s a good day, isn’t it?” he observed as he stared outside. ”Good weather. Mhm. It’s a good day to go and have some fun in Diagon Alley, don’t you agree?” He glanced at his book for a second time and laid it down beside him. ”Now kids,” he began, turning to their direction, a serious, yet worried look in his eyes. ”you know that you shouldn’t go around without someone to supervise you. Going alone out there,” he gestured outside, ”is dangerous. ‘Specially that you two are just young. And you’re going to go to Hogwarts next year. And we certainly wouldn’t want you two getting hurt now, would we?
“Now I know that you two don’t get much action here, but we can go get your things for next year, have some ice cream at Florean’s after. What do you say?” He grinned at the two, his eyes twinkling with—as other people would say—mischievousness.

Location: Home Jasper realistically didn’t plan on going anywhere without their parents regardless of how it sounded. Sadly he needed to stall until he could distract Alice with something else that would make her forget this silly idea. Unfortunately not much distracted Alice away from clothes. “Alice… earth to Alice…” he said gently nudging her. She clearly zoned out on him while he was thinking of a plan and hadn’t noticed. “Uh? What’s wrong Jazz?” Alice asked him as he began to calm down. “Nothing you spaced out again.” He told her. “Oh about that…” she was about to call him out for not telling her his real motive for waiting when their father came into the room all casual like. Turning to look at him both Alice and Jasper watched as his probably most read book came to him. “Yes I’d say so.” Alice answered. It wasn’t until he brought up going to Diagon Alley that the two both instinctively looked at each other. ‘He knows…’ They both thought turning their attention back to Colville and nodding in unison. The more the conversation went on the more obvious it was that they were caught or at least Alice was because there was no way Jasper was going to do such a thing. “We know that.” Jasper spoke up looking at Alice as he said it. She sighed in defeat. “No we wouldn’t…” Alice answered. “But we weren’t going too I swear.” She piped up remembering what she was about to say earlier to Jasper before Colville walked in. “I like the sound of that.” Jasper said relieved that he wouldn’t have to come up with something to occupy Alice. “Yes please.” Alice said cheerfully before pausing for a moment. “Will there be clothes on this shopping trip?” she asked suddenly. “Alice…” Jasper said shaking his head at her one track mind. Colville nodded at the two of them, his smile still evident on his lips. Then he shrugged his shoulders, raised both his eyebrows, saying, ”Of course you wouldn’t, now why would you two even think of something like that?” Then grinned again when they both agreed on going to the trip. He clapped his hands then chirped, ”Then that’s all settled then! We’re going to Diagon Alley. We’ll get dressed up, then, we can go. Lillian? Honey?” He called out, craning his neck to see her. ”Can you fix the children their outfits for the trip? I’ll go and check Sera.” He nodded at the two kids, stood up, kissed his wife on the cheek then went away. Though he stopped, then glanced at Alice, ”And yes, Ali, we can add clothes on this shopping trip.” He winked at her and continued up the stairs.
Most of the family’s rooms are on the second floor, of course. He is still, even after the years, amazed at how medieval the house looked, yet it didn’t lose its modern touch. Then, walking over the corridor, he stood in front of a door with the words Serafina’s Room hanging on the upper center of it. Cole reached for the door knob, but a Do Not Disturb! Or I’ll Hex you! sign made him hesitate. He was always bad with hexes… Then snapped back to the current situation. He knocked on the door thrice. He waited. But nothing happened. He knocked again.”Who is it?” replied an irritated voice from the other side. ”I’m busy, I’ll eat later.”
”Oh, you’re busy, eh?” he repeated as his raised a brow. ”Okay. Then study hard, Sera, while we go to Diagon Alley and enjoy our ice creams,” he called back, putting an emphasis on the ice cream part. And, as if on cue, he heard the shuffling of books and a couple of steps towards the door. A warm brown eye peeked through the gap of the door she opened. And he knew that look very well. Ice cream? it seemed to ask. ”Yes Sera, ice cream. Now go and fix yourself and we’ll be going to Diagon Alley to get Alice and Jasper’s stuff—and, well, yours too. We’ll be waiting downstairs.” And with that, he smiled at his daughter, still not accepting that their little girl is already, well, 15. Time flew fast. Perhaps too fast.
With a last fatherly nod, he went to the master’s bedroom and got ready. ”Might be better if we get their wands first… Hmm, yes, though we can split up so that we could get their books… Mhm, then we can go get their robes. Good,” he began to mutter, returning to the classic Coleville, where he’s thinking of how the trip would go even if it hadn’t even begun yet.

❅ Fifth Year ❅ Slytherin ❅ Pureblood ❅ Single ❅ Prefect ✉ Feeling : Happy, and... maybe proud, too ✉ Thoughts : Maybe I'll owl her before we go... ✉ Doing : Getting ready ✉ Where : Lancaster Estate ✉ With : The Family `•» »-(¯`v´¯)-» It took Serafina less than 15 minutes to comb her hair—which looked like a bird nest before she did so because she was too focused on reading to even comb it—, drag random clothes from her closet (which also looked like a dump), and place her all her books beside her bed. And by all, I mean every book there is. And she even kept her books from her first year. Even she, herself, didn’t know why. She was always this paranoid when it comes to important stuff like this. And it’s the OWLs we’re talking about. The Lancaster family—at least, her,—took this matter seriously. She didn’t want to fail. Her stacked book were already beside her white and pink bed. Her sheets were on the corner of her bed, about ¾ of it’s on a pileon the floor. Her smaller bed, bed-closet-bed, as she called it, was stretched out, and there lay her last book: Absolute, Alchemy, as well as some pictures of a younger version of herself, on a swing, laughing cheerily; Lisanna, flying in circles, then landing to eat some biscuits; her parents, smiling and waving; her friends, goofing around. The usual stuff. As she placed the pictures back to their albums, she picked the book, and was startled to see a letter falling from the pages. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell them this, she realized, opening it again, and rereading its contents.
She was made prefect.
She remembered when she first received it; not too long ago. She just stared blankly at it first, then picked up a shiny green and silver badge with a large P in the middle of it. The first thing that came in her mind wasn’t YAY!, and instead, it was How? and Why?. She never really did understood how. She never made a lot of friends, and she was always quiet—her behavior opposite to her earlier years. Though she admitted, she was proud, in a way. After all, not many get the prefect title. She stared at herself on her mirror, and thought of how she would… Dunno, lead the students to the common room. Though, she thought, she wouldn’t. The ones who would lead them might be the older prefects in her house. She nodded, then took a deep breath. She was ready to go to Diagon Alley already, so she took her bag, her wand carefully kept, and ran downstairs, the letter and the badge inside her hand.
As soon as she was with the family, she gave it to her father, first. Coleville, perplexed to what the letter would say, unrolled it and read. Then blinked. ”Blimey, Sera, you’re a prefect.” He grinned that infectious grin of his, so she grinned too. ”Would that earn me a special treat? Just some new quills would do,” she said, her brown eyes twinkling with expectation. So Coleville sighed in defeat. ”Fine, fine.” That made her grin wider. And, surely, the rest of the family’s happy too. Though a thought occurred to her… Hmmm, did Shayna became prefect too? `•» »-(¯`v´¯)-»

The letter lay innocently on the table, the parchment pale and wrinkled as it lay against the mahogany table. Scrawled across the surface with dark ink and a smile was the name 'Jokul Lancaster' sitting atop the broken seal.
Unfurled, the letter read as followed.
-----
'Dear whomever it is that finds this,
Dad, Mom, Sera, my two new baby siblings Alice and Jasper-- I don't know which one of you is reading this but if you do-- find it, I mean-- I want to say, hey, it's Jo. So, I'm back in England, to stay, yeah. About what happened, I probably should have told you about it first before just running off. Yeah, I definitely should have told you about it first. I'm sorry about that, sorry for everything I put you through, and I'm sorry about the lack of letters or anything-- it was pretty hard to take care of a pet while travelling, you know?
But, yeah. I'm back to stay. I've got a lot to make up for-- two year's worth, right? I'll be at the Luchino Cafe? I'll wait. c:
Love, Jokul Sigvaldi Lancaster (Your Jo)'

✫ Mood : Panicky ✫ Thinking : That little! I’ll give him a brief example of what scolding really means! ✫ Doing : Apparating away ✫ With : None ✫ Where : Lancaster Estate
Playing wizard’s chess by himself and honesty, Coleville placed his chin on his hand as he stared at the black and white pieces, eyes darting back and forth, right and left, then, finally, he huffed a command,”Bishop to D5,” and a white piece moved to the designated spot, the opposite team’s king just a few moves away. Another short moment before he uttered again, ”King to F5,” and the one last black piece moved one spot, the rest of its kin gone. Cole grinned at how the game ended—or, well, how it will end. ”Queen to D4,” he said the last one move to end the game. ”Checkmate.” And with the game ending, Cole leaned back on the couch and stared at the ceiling. He wondered, in his mind, another way to entertain himself. Ever since the three of his children—Sera, Alice, and Jasper—left for Hogwarts, the Lancaster Estate has become… quite dull, just like before.
Sighing, he felt hunger creep in him, and he patted his belly once, then walked toward the kitchen. Picking up a plate of cookies, he walked around the house, passing through the other rooms on the first floor. He walked across the ballroom once, twice, until he decided to leave and check the other rooms. The playroom, the private dining room, the public dining room… Wait, what’s that on the table? As something white caught his eye, Cole made his way on the table, chewing. He set down the plate (where only three cookies remained) and picked up the letter. Jokul Lancaster, it read, and it made Cole blink as his brows slowly, and almost, knitted together. How could this be, he thought. His eldest son, after two years of nothing, has now sent his family a letter.
He doubted it was him at first, but then… the handwriting, that… smile. Yes, it was definitely him. Opening the letter, he realized he hand was actually shaking. His brown eyes stared at the greeting, then made their way down until he finished the whole letter. ”…Jo… That little…. Luchino Cafe. And by the look of the ink on the letter, this is pretty new… Luchino Caffe… Wait, he’s there right now?” The detective laid the letter back on the table, his teeth clenched as fear and worry swam in his eyes.
His son was back. Jo was finally back. That boy had better be ready for him. ”Lillian! I’ll just go out for… for a moment. Stay here, okay? I’ll be back, honey.” He called out to his wife as he picked up his coat then put it on. And with a sharp crack!, Coleville Lancaster apparated to the Cafe, with the hopes of seeing the son he missed dearly for two years.

Lillian smiled as she went about the house, her soft steps making hardly a sound on the tile floor. She heard her husband call out that he was leaving and thought nothing of it, going on about her walk, when she realized on odd her darling husband had sounded. Her brow crinkled and she decided to walk to the dinning room, looking about. It was there she saw the letter and picked it up. Her eyes scanned it, then read it, then read it again before she dropped it in shock, her hand on her heart. However, she knew, there was no way she was "staying here". ~ Sky ~ Alice's Pygmy Owl Sky the tiny owl flew with a letter in her tiny feet. She may be small but she could carry letters for Alice no problem it seemed. By the time she got to the Lancaster's estate Sky landed on a nearby window ceil to relax and give herself a break before jumping up right and looking for a room that had someone in it. Tapping the glass until she was let in. Alice Dear mom and dad, Hope everything is going well at home. Jazz and I are doing fine here during our first week of classes. We were sorted into Hufflepuff together so we've been keeping an eye on one another. I've already made some friends here and don't worry Jazz has too. It's taking him a bit but he seems to be will to talk with others I suspect by the end of the year he'll be talking to just about everyone. Classes are great we're already working hard. Though Jazz seems to be taking more to Flying then I am. Anyways I have to get to class. Can't wait to hear from you. Missing you both, Love Alice and Jasper

Location: Home (Lancaster Estate) Alice skipped to the door with Jasper in toe. Then again he had to be what with her holding his hand. "We're home we're home we're home!" she cheered happily. "Calm down Alice..." Jasper told her as he tried to bring her back down to earth. "But Jazz we haven't been home in months." Alice whined. "That's true but things look the same to me." he told her. "I suppose not but we have." she stated. "Speaking of us we should get Dad to take you broom shopping." She added. Jasper was never the type to spend money, well unless it was a book. So as you cab imagine a broom wasn't exactly on the list of must haves. "I can just use a school broom you know." he told her. Though things certainly didn't look like they changed around the estate everyone knows looks can be deceiving. "No if you really like it you can't." Alice answered teasingly before opening the door. "We're home everyone!" Alice shouted through the massive house. "Where is everyone...?" she said quietly wondering where her family could be.
