"Maple, Maple, relax! I bring you here to enjoy, not to get you nervous. If you can't enjoy this, I am gonna be so sorry. Smile please?" AJ held back Maple's hand, giving her confidence to release herself. He didn't want the little witch to miss the fun party tonight.

"I am not sure about what taste you normally like, let's start with those fruit tarts?" He picked up one for Maple and one for him. "Try?" He smiled.

After getting some foods, he dragged Maple back to the middle of the main area, where he saw a lovely ghoul there.

"Hey Sophie! That's your date?" He asked the zombie ghoul who was in a lovely lovely dress. "Maple, I think you know her, that's the ghoul who helped you with your dress, right? Both of you look great tonight." He made a comment.

Bastion's compliment made her blush and she took a sip of her drink to calm her nerves. It was pleasantly sweet and she helped herself to a second sip before glancing around nervously. Her brother hadn't noticed them yet and she hoped they could get away with this whole.. thing for a little bit before it all came crashing down. A familiar face had her smiling and she held her drink carefully, embracing AJ and Maple; offering both a kiss on the cheek in greeting.

AJ received a glance up and down and Sophie grinned. "AJ, you look fantastic!" She couldn't help but laugh. He wore the dress better than some ghouls. "Maple, you look lovely." Turning to Bastion, she gripped his arm and patted it lightly. "This is Bastion, my date," she introduced him, her voice suddenly a little quieter than it had been before.

It had been a long (short), miserable (relatively ok, all things considered) walk to the main tent. JD migrated to the food first, regardless of the fact that it would probably go straight to his thighs.

He started to put whatever he'd nabbed to his mouth, when he saw a totally hot ghoul glancing around on the dance floor. He didn't recognize her, maybe she was ne-



"EMILY?"

Wow, that was loud. Whatever. He tried again.

"You look bangin'."

And then JD paused a moment, to reflect upon the last few times he'd seen her. They involved tentacles. And explosions. He grinned ever so slightly - or maybe it was more of a grimace; smiles were so out this year.

And not two seconds in the beautifully decorated tent, had something gone a bit wrong. AJ had caught wind of her anxiety, but really anyone within two feet of her probably could see it as clear as day. It just made her tense up a little more as she sputtered out an apology to him, "I.. j-just," no, don't make it worse, "I'll t-try." Because she really wanted to, though she had to relax a bit before she attempted an actual smile.

Perhaps the tarts would do, as he had suggested. The cheesecake also looked rather good but she chose as he had pointed out and picked one with boysenberries on top. Maple took a small nibble of it, pleased with the taste, before the duo - trio? - were on the move. Not another bite was taken from it for now, held safely in her hands as AJ found another couple to interact with.

The ghoul looked familiar, and Maple nodded her head to confirm what her date had asked. (And then was taken a little off guard by the embrace and kiss on the cheek, did she blush? of course). "H-hello S-sophie, y-you l-look r-really c-cute," it looked so fun with the prints and the make up.

"I-its n-nice t-to m-meet you," she smiled awkwardly to Bastion, adding in an equally awkward little curtsey (her hands were a little full at the moment, but manners were manners).

Alexander had been checking his pocket watch almost obsessively since the time when they had finished putting up the last of the decorations, pacing the dance floor and running everything over in his head at least a million times to try and figure out if they had missed anything. Planning Prom had taken up a large portion of the zomboil's time, as of late, and now that the night was finally here he couldn't help but feel a tiny bit nervous.

Sparing his pocket watch just one last glance he soon found himself looking towards the DJ booth, where Amrita was just turning on the music, the sounds of their opening song filling the tent that housed the dance floor, sitting area, and refreshments.

It was time. This years prom, and the very first student (and pony) wide event that this years Student Council got to organize, was beginning. Smoothing out his black jacket and adjust this tie, the zomboil made his way over to the drinks portion of the table in a shuffling gait, green eye flitting over the contents of each and a wide smile tugging at the corner of his lips, turning his painted skeletal features into an evil looking grin.

Near the refreshment table was where he remained, after that, watching as each student, in pairs and singles, and horseman much the same, entered the main dance area. The small trickle that started the festivities off soon turned into a crowd, and he lost track of who he knew and who he didn't. Ah well, no matter!

He glanced down at his pocket watch again, then reached down to unscrew the top, which wasn't what it appeared to be and instead was a small lid. "Bottoms up." He murmured, before bringing it to his lips and tilting his head back for a quick swig, and then quickly screwing the top back on and placing it back in his pocket.

Outwardly nothing seemed to change.

A flash of familiar color caught his eye, and Alexander instinctively turned towards it. Green hued skin, tightly curled pigtails, a pink dress. Alex began to smile at the sight of his sister, but hardly even getting a chance to wave or really even take in the sight of her before a voice called out his name, and he found himself startled, and turning away, smile brightening yet more towards Belladonna, who looked, for a lack of better words, absolutely stunning as usual.

He opened his mouth as though to respond, and not a single sound came out. Oh right! He gave a small shake of his head, and an apologetic shrug of his shoulders while raising both hands palm up in a "ah, what can I do?" gesture.

No, Belladonna, he could not talk.

And no, Sophie, your brother wasn't going to have a fit just yet. He had just been conveniently distracted away from you.

Amphi blinked as she heard Freya squeal and then brought her hand shyly up to wave at the Valkyrie. "Freya looks so nice!" She wished she filled out a dress as nicely as the ghoul did. "Ah There is so many things!" She blushed at the mention of meeting other BOILS OMJACK. "No oh gosh could you imagine the boils....." She flushed again, covering her face.

Also Kettil was very much showing lots and gosh, so many people.

"Um...We should play games!"

Junko blinked. "Imagine which boils?" Not..the boils, right? They were going to pretend those boils didn't exist. They were going to enjoy their night.

"Games? Sure! Lead the way, my dear!" Junko held an arm out for Amphi to lead the way. She was terribly curious to see the rest of this carnival prom. Just a weeeeee bit.
