DUCK POND" How rude you are, tiny thing." He grinned at it and swung it back to its pond. Naughty scareling needed to be taught a lesson. " This one is too dangerous, let's pick another one." He turned back and smiled to his little adorable partner. Got you!Tied with the pink ribbon was a little cute duckling, a little bit too unusual from the rest. It looked like it just woke up and not sure why it is hanging in the mid-air, headed down. " How about this one? It looks docile. Oh wait! There's one with red ribbon, you like red, right? Go and try~" He pushed lightly from Maple's back to encourage her to give a try at the duckling pond. All he wanted was a great night for the little witch. OOC 3, 5 = You've won 1 ticket! RING TOSS
Next Azmodel wanted to try the ring toss. She was not the best at agility but she had nothing to loose.
Her first try was a little too enthusiast and the clattering of the ring on the bottles made the ghoul cringe. The noise was awful. So, the next throws were more tentative.
After her ten tries she was proud to count 3 rings on bottle necks.
Turning to the gnome running the booth she heard him grumble something under its breath and not too graciously hand her a circus ticket.

The next game booth seemed interesting as well. Nodding to the sleepy gnome the ghoul stepped up to the plate.
Taking a deep breath Azmodel hit the lever with all her strength. And...
*DING *
The gnome jumped in surprise while the Valkyrie let a grin split her face.
She picked one black and orange voodoo doll before leaving without listening to the ranting gnome.

DUCK POND
Julian had come down to the carnival earlier than he had to any other prom/dance/event in the past. Mostly because, well, it was a carnival after all and wouldn't it be a nice surprise for Lumi when she arrived and he already had a prize or two to give to her?
Good intentions and all that.
So straight to the games he went, dressed in blues and silvers, a puffy sort of dark gray cap on his head, and just a vest over his torso, buttoned of course. A large pouch hung from one hip, in which rested his crystal and a couple other spheres of equal size but plainer make. It was a carnival and he had gotten a fair bit better at juggling.
The duck pond was the first place he headed for was the Duck Pond.

The first duck he picked up was one of the nice and sleepy ones. And it stayed nice and sleepy. It would get him a ticket, maybe he could go for two, or even one of the other prizes the gnomette had with her booth.
He picked up another duck to find an even better ribbon! The duck gave him a bit of a disgruntled quack at being handled but beyond that didn't seem too bothered.

Yui could not be said to be enjoying herself over much. The noise levels alone were slightly alarming, but she was determined to find a way to re-integrate herself back into Halloween Town life. And frankly, a carnival seemed the best place to try this. She could stay out of the way and be lost in the crowd while she observed.
Still, she should at least try to do something fun, no? Eyeing the Duck Pond, she wandered over and politely greeted the gnomette.

Well, her first duck hadn't mauled her too badly. She was sure the teeth marks would heal up nicely with no recourse to a trained medical professional. With a sigh, she tried again.

As Yui continued to wander, she clutched the odd little doll she'd won from the duck pond. So far, so good. Her eye next fell on a ring toss game and her face brightened. Heading over, she accepted some rings from the gnome in charge and began to carefully aim and toss. Surely this time her luck would be better!

RING TOSS
So far so good! Julian returned his ducks to their little pond and moved onto the next game. One eyebrow rose slightly at the gnome manning the booth, but he took the rings without a word. Jut toss the rings over the bottles... Easier said than done by the looks of the varying sizes...
Well, that was an epic fail. He only managed one ring on a bottle. Throwing things had never really been his strong point.

Feeling a bit more cheerful, the young samebito continued her perusal of the midway, tail twitching slightly. She stopped next at a mallet game and wondered if she should bother. She knew she wasn't terribly strong. And it would be horribly embarrassing to be heckled by a gnome. Still. She was here to have fun and try things. So, she would try it.
Taking the mallet, she raised it over her head and swung.

Julian walked over to the strength-test game...
And continued right along towards the booth with a bunch of balloons. He'd... come back to that later.
As soon as he got to the next booth, though, he started to wonder if he shouldn't have gone ahead with the strength booth instead, because this was another throwing one. Greaaaaat.
And yet he couldn't help but be a little ambitious and decided to go for the INTERMEDIATE level.
Someday, he'd learn.

"You're quite right," she answered with a hint of icy sarcasm in her voice. "Since I believe he existed several years before I even came into existence..."
Gritting her teeth together, Yui raised the mallet to try again. She had to do better.

With the last gnome's insults still ringing in her ears, Yui fled as decorously as possible. She was almost ready to give this all up as a bad idea when a rather excitable gnomette caught her attention. As awful as the last one had been, this one with her manic cheerfulness was a nice change. Smiling back, Yui stepped up and accepted a handful of darts.
