"Rocky Horror Picture Show," he said, tugging her close and right into the line of the camera. "Now look that way an' say squeeze," he said, moving her so she was in the shot.

He was probably going to get punched for this one, too, he thought with a grin.

"Hell no, I'm gonna make it my phone wallpaper first!" he said. "THEN y'can burn it."

Serafina decided to take a break from her relatively easy chaperoning duties--and the duties which involved nosing in on everyone in the Big Top from up on top of a few things she had managed to ... levitate and climb up to...--to go over to the photobooth. She was admittedly rather pleased with how she looked, and even if she had no one to pose with, she would love to get a picture in memory of the effort that had gone into the outfit she had created.

Plus, there was a part of her that was just vain enough to make sure that her looking this good was immortalized, not just the outfit. While she was in line, she actually took out her mirror, flicking it open to get a better look at her current appearance.

It was clear that she had been wearing this stuff for a while now, because the eyeshadow was beginning to fade a little. Frowning--she couldn't have a fashion disaster in her picture, after all--she took out her emergency make-up kit and closed one eye, patching the smoky eyes back up until the looked as good as they did when she first put the eyeshadow on. She copied that with the other, before blinking both eyes open. Perfect. Her eyes sparkled in delight, and she put the object back in her bag, knowing that bringing that emergency make-up kit was probably one of her better decisions this prom.

A lot of people were getting their picture taken with an other, but so what? She didn't need an other to look awesome. Besides, all the couples were being put in these absolutely ridiculous poses. Half of them, she couldn't even see someone's whole outfit. That was a waste of a picture. She wasn't putting all this effort into a dark carnival theme only to have it hidden by some other clunky person in the picture, or a student putting her in a ridiculous pose...

When it was her turn, Serafina was prepared. She placed her back down on the side and moved herself onto the set up, offering the photographer a friendly hello and a bow of the head. This would be easy enough. She would pick her own pose out, smile, and the picture would be taken, and then she could go. Yes ... That would work. Serafina licked her lips under the surgical mask, glancing around before figuring out where she would stand. At first, she struck a simple pose, hoping that would be enough...

But then the photographer began moving her around.

Put one hand here, put another there, put it back on the hip, take it off the hip, angle her head like this, angle it like that, no back to the first, no to a third, no over to the right, no over to the left, maybe a bit further to the right, perhaps looking up a bit, no, giving a glowering look looking down, no giving a sultry eye to the camera, no, no, no-- Jack, did this photographer know what he was doing at all? Serafina rolled her eyes as she was moved yet again, not at all understanding what this particular photographer had in mind. This was ridiculous. She swore, she was working up a sweat just with all the moves he was making her do.

And then he said, "Just pick your own pose."

... Jack.

Serafina moved herself around to a place that was comfortable, following the photographer's lead once again until he got her head in just the right place. Was this necessary? Still, she thought she looked good, and she certainly thought her pose looked good. She was showing off, and she liked it that way. Serafina was proud of herself and her outfit, Jackdammit.

When the flash went off, Serafina felt like she could barely see afterwards, but at least the picture was taken. Good. She couldn't wait to get it once it was developed. With a sparkle in her eye and an unseen tilt of her lips underneath the surgical mask, she bowed her head in thanks--even if she had been frustrated with all of the ridiculous posing--and moved back on her way back to her previous perch. It wasn't that she had seen anything wrong--on the contrary, it seemed like everyone was fairly well-behaved this year, besides for the pranking and the marriage shouts and the ridiculous songs--but listening in to all of that ridiculousness sounded like the perfect way to spend her evening. Besides, she didn't have anyone in particular to spend the evening with anyway. Nothing was wrong with finding her own fun in spite of all of that...

Yin waited for some sign as to which way to go. Alexander pointed in one direction and Yin started to take a step that way only to notice the zomboil starting to make more gestures. The first was a bit odd, then he seemed to be trying to attack the ground, and then he was...throwing something?

That was much better than the next thing. He pointed in another direction and then acted like he was...well drunk Yin was fairly sure. Apparently these were his options? Throwing things or fighting versus getting drunk. It was fairly easy to quickly gesture toward the first option, going so far as to take several quick steps in that direction.

"I believe the first option will be much better." Hopefully. Anything but the drunken stumbling.

Nergui had the bend of a knuckle pressed against her lip as she considered their options. With a hum the mare glanced between the big top, and the play of lights from the midway. The rides sounded like they could be fun,and it wasn't as though they'd ever encountered anything of the sort back on the isles. She had wanted to dance more though, and the privacy they'd had when they first arrived, sharing the tarts.. She was torn. The night wouldn't last forever, in fact, she was fairly certain it was beginning to wind down.

A subtle pout played over the mare's lips as she mentally weighed her options, but finally one choice won above the other. Linking her fingers with Soren's, she brought his hand up and lay a gentle kiss along his knuckles. "I think I would prefer the intimacy of dancing and sharing more delicious tarts with you, over the thrill of games or rides."

"Let's head back to the big top." Maybe they'd see some of their comrades as well. Surely, with the evening growing late, there would be more of them around. If not? Well, they always had the little table near the buffet and the tiny mountain of apple tarts to share their company with.

But first there would be dancing.

Tyshina had played all of the games but one today and she was happy as an be. Until suddenly she noticed a familiar booth. One she had seen the year before at the last prom, it was one of magic. The photo-booth.

She had seen many couples go in, and sadly just as the prom before she had no one beside her. Though she wasn't unhappy for that fact. She was actually still cheerful since in her mind, this year was just not the year for her to have a date. Maybe next year would be and she could show them how she looked the year before.

"Next year, but this year it's all me and my face," she said with a giggle as she headed towards the booth. She was glowing with fire in her eyes, and was thrilled. This year, the carnival had been so much fun! She almost wished it would never end. She entered and waited to receive the outcome.

Danny wanted a picture and she wanted it now. Maybe it was because a few days prior she'd shared a phone call with her mother about how THIS WAS HER FINAL PROM followed by YOU HAVE TO WIN PROM QUEEN (which would never happen in a million years, as Danny was not even princess material let alone queen). Still, it did get her thinking about how this was the last one. She needed to make memories.

Memories in the form of pictures. That was a memorable thing, right?

"C'mon, pleeeease?" she whined, looking at the booth with big shiny eyes. "Everybody else is doing it please please please!!"

Circe had wandered from the main tent to the photobooth, watching the couples lining up to get their picture taken. She had no date but maybe it wasn't too bad of an idea to commemorate her first prom. Her parents would appreciate it. So with a shrug Circe made her way over to the photobooth and getting in line and waiting for her turn. She felt a little nervous getting her picture taken by herself but compared to the feeling of going to prom in the first place, it wasn't that awful.
