Miles Libertatis Miles was relieved to hear Mimi's response. Hopefully that would be the case. He looked over at Kasumi as she mentioned bad things happening. "Don't jinx us," he teased. He thanked her when she took his bowl and put it back in the kitchen. He noticed both of the girls were becoming tired. "You girls don't need to sleep on the couch. We have a bedroom right in there," he told them as he pointed into the next room. He leaned back into the couch as he watched them. "I'm getting tired too now that I think about it. It sure has been a long day hasn't it?"

Mimi Nightingale Mimi hadn't slept in months and it was now starting to take an effect on her since she was in her human form. "Yeah well I guess sleep does sou..." She said in a tired tone as suddenly the psychic connection between them cut off and she fell asleep where she was, she looked kind of like a cute child when she slept seeing as she had a smile on her face while she sat there.

Thinking:'She looks so adorable..' Kasumi giggled and nodded to Miles when he teased her. She nodded when he said about them being both tired. A few minutes later she turned to see Mimi that she had fallen asleep. She picked her up and placed her in the bedroom. She tucked her in and smiled sweetly."Night Mimi.."She whispered, closing the door to the room. She walked back into the living room and sat in a chair and yawned once more.

Miles Libertatis Miles looked over at Mimi when she suddenly cut her link, only to see her sleeping peacefully where she was. He watched Kasumi bring her to the bedroom and come back, closing the door behind her. He smiled and shook his head as he watched her go sit in the chair and stretch. "Come lay down on the couch," he told her, patting the seat next to him.

Thinking:'So...tired...' Kasumi looked up at Miles, seeing him pat her a spot next to him. She blushed softly then got up and stretched. She walked over and sat down next to Miles and laid her head on his shoulder. Her eyes then shut the second her head landed on his shoulder.

Miles Libertatis Miles looked over when he felt Kasumi lean her head against her shoulder, only to see that she had fallen asleep just as quickly. He smiled and leaned back slowly, putting his arm around her. Then he leaned back into the couch, closing his eyes as he tried to get some sleep. Now that he was sitting still he realized how tired he was and it felt good to have a partner he could count on. Mimi seemed alright too. With those thoughts in mind he drifted off to sleep.

Thinking: About three hours later, Kasumi began to sweat and kept moving. She was having a nightmare, like she did most nights. All of a sudden she woke up and gasped. The dream she had was when her family were killed by the kishins. She hugged her knees and cried softly with her head tucked in her arms.

Mimi Nightingale Mimi had woken up to go to the bathroom and decided to get herself a drink of water, she noticed that Kasumi was awake and saw she was sweating. "Is everything alright Ka-chan?" She asked as she established the psychic link with her trying not to wake Miles.

Miles Libertatis Miles mumbled something in his sleep when he felt Kasumi pull away. He didn't wake up however, continuing to sleep peacefully. Once Miles was asleep it was hard to wake him up. He was virtually dead to the world. He slowly turned his head left and right but didn't open his eyes.

Thinking: Kasumi looked up to see Mimi awake and asked if she was alright."Y-Yeah, I'm alright I just had a nightmare.."She replied, wiping her eyes. She turned to see Miles and saw some of her tears on his cheek. She smiled softly then wiped it off him."You can just go back to sleep, it'll be fine.."

Mimi Nightingale Mimi looked at Kasumi for a minute and smiled gently. "If you want I could temporarily stop the nightmares, if not then I'll just head back to sleep." She said with a kind smile.

Miles Libertatis Miles flinched slightly when Kasumi wiped the tears off his cheek. He mumbled something in his sleep again about training. He seemed to be sleeping peacefully for the time being.

Thinking: Kasumi returned Mimi's kind smile with her own and shook her head."Don't worry, you just rest...Night Mimi."She said, laying back down.
Kasumi grabbed a blanket and placed it on the two so they wouldn't be cold while they slept. She yawned and placed her head on Miles' arm and tried to sleep again.

Mimi Nightingale Mimi nodded as she got up and cut the psychic link after saying. "Then rest well." As she made her way back to her room and lay down easily falling asleep once again.

Miles Libertatis About an hour later, Miles awoke from his sleep. He checked the clock. It was 2AM. He looked over to see that Kasumi had put a blanket over them. She must have woken up at some point. He put his arm around her again and made sure the blanket was over them both. "Kasumi...?" He asked quietly to see if she was awake.
