No such luck. As they continued on, there was nothing but empty forest and the wind in the trees. "Aw. Did we scare them off or something?" Naka wondered.

Okay. Maybe that was not so much of a smart idea. An angry butterfree appeared from the trees and swooped down at the unsuspecting togepi.

Luckily, the butterfree didn't hit Jubilee. Though, unfortunately, he did send her stick flying off to the next floor.
"No!" Jubilee stumbled after her stick, once again dragging Naka off with her.

Up ahead, dangerously close to the stick, was a Weedle. Was someone else trying to take it. "Hey, get away from that!" Naka said, throwing his stick at the bug.

Unfortunately his aim was poor, and the stick flew wide. The Weedle didn't seem to be bothered, and apparently wasn't even going for the stick after all, since it just crawled on by.

Jubilee waddled forward and picked up the two sticks. She turned around and gave Naka his stick, "Thank you for scaring the weedle away!" Then with a smile, she turned around and continued on forward.
Jubilee didn't really seem to pay much attention to the encounter with the weedle.

Jubilee spotted a berry on the forest floor. The togepi picked it up and tucked it away to check if it was safe or not later.

Naka took his still back, waving it triumphantly. "Onward for more adventure!" eh said as he continued through the forest.

Apparently Naka was good at using his stick to shake down trees for berries. As he waved it around, it knocked into another tree, causing another berry to drop down. He scooped it up to look at later.

Jubilee skipped onwards, deeper into the forest. She waved her stick around as she started to make more sound effects--- maybe it would attract more pokemon?

It actually worked! A caterpie poked his head out under some underbrush to check what the commotion was about. Jubilee apprached the little bug pokemon, "Hello! I'm Jubilee." she introduced herself.

The caterpie useid string-shot on Jubilee and scurried away. When Jubilee finally removed the sticky webbing off of her face, she saw no signs of the caterpie. She returned to Naka and moved forward deeper into the forest.
