Following him over to the bar, she took a seat beside him, slightly amused by the amount he was ordering. Thankfully, she rarely spent her earned savings, and was smart enough to have brought some along with her. The extra $100 was also a help. If she hadn't she might of had to cut him off at one or two beers, but for now she would indulge him. "Easy now. You don't want to show up drunk. Caelius wouldn't be too pleased about that. Besides, you want to keep room for that ice cream."
Handing over the cash to the bartender, she then rested her chin upon her hands, setting her gaze on the death assistant. "So, any ideas on whats going on for this mission? Or is it all a big secret?"
(( $1000 - $90(?) = $910 ))

Feeling that gambling away what little pocket money she had to spend was a bad idea, Peyton had avoided the casino, and instead headed to the prommenade. It was a real shame this mission hadn't happpened a week from now. She'd have had her first paycheck play with.
Then again, maybe it was a good thing she didn't have it now, how much would it suck to spend it all in one place right off the jump.
She was window shopping when she happened upon the baby trainee from the main headquarters, but that wasn't the same outfit. Brows arched, she took in the new dress, the hair, the lack of jumpsuit. "Hey Maebe, you got all fancy." She grinned as she came to a stop beside the slightly taller girl, then glances up at the guy Maebe had been talking with. Not someone she recognized, but she got the impression that he wasn't new. "Who's your friend?"

When in doubt, Lawr decided that the only real option was to stop and get ice cream. He'd eaten very very little since he'd woken up and was getting into the zone where he was feeling faint at various junctures.
He tried to ignore the voice, he'd been trying to ignore it since he'd come upstairs from the tablet room. It was difficult.
Sitting down at one of the tables, he toyed at it with a spoon, ignoring the odd looks he got from the cashier.

Cass really didn't want to be in a casino. Or maybe it was that she was too young to (HA HA HA, LIKE THAT HAD EVER STOPPED HER EVER) be in one. Or she just felt like walking around. That perhaps was the best reason to be walking around out and about like she was.
Okay, actually it was because there was a bar and Marcus wasn't there to stop her right then. However, that meant she first needed to stare at a long list of options and ponder it.
Their private party was crashed. Maebe had been carefully eyeing the spots on Jude's body where he told her there were scars, and wondering exactly how he got so many, when two people she knew were at the meeting came up ordering drinks. In fact, they ordered real expensive ones. Not really aware of what was good or not, Maebe decided that Mark was a good judge of things. (Which would probably be her biggest mistake in all of Deus.) "I'll have one of what he's having," she ordered quickly.
Peyton returned just as she was given the beer, and she lifted her drink in greeting. "Yes. I got clothing hijacked. As long as it doesn't fall off and leave me naked, I'll deal." She popped the top off on the bar, and looked at Jude while she took a swig, before answering. "Hey, Jude. This is Peyton. Peyton, Jude. We suffer from the same horrible affliction. It's known in scientific terms as 'Overused Song-Name Joke Syndrome'."

She trusts him. This is such a mistake.

He didn't mind that Maebe was apparently eyeballing the places that he had pointed out as having scars. It was simply one of those things. Jude didn't go to great lengths to keep them covered but he also didn't really show them off with any pride.
When a new person came over he lifted a hand and waved at Peyton as he was introduced, "It is a terrible curse but I manage," he said going with the flow of Maebe's joke.
Again he lowered his tone just a bit, "It's why Missions are wonderful. You just make an alias," he shrugged his shoulders.

Ice cream dispatched, Lawr got up and headed off towards the next destination. Being on his own didn't bother him a great deal, he'd dedicated most of his time to his cats and in many ways developed their type of attitude to other beings, he could take them or leave them, they had their purposes but weren't entirely essential.
Wandering into a jazz lobby dressed like a janitor was a new experience, but he wore it like he was born to it, an air of eccentric millionaire as he strolled to the bar where a cluster of - presumably - hunters were gathered. He ordered a sex on the beach because it was a cruise and why not? He was normally more a ..horticultural man, but he didn't see any alternative to alcohol presenting itself any time soon.
Sitting on one of the stools, he quietly thought about his cats.

Pey actuually hadn't thought about that until it was pointed out toher, but now that she had.. Well, she was a sassy little s**t. It would surely crop up later.
"Oh, hey Jude." Her smile was o0nly slightly more devious then usual. "Nice to meet'cha. So how long have you been on the island." Small hands came to rest on her hips, "N' what division?" Noisy much?
Now that she thought about. "You too, Mae. What's on your coat?"

"I've never really been on either," Rin remarked as she kept close to Melvin's side. She looked calm, but not far beneath the surface she was very anxious. She'd never been a passenger on a seacraft or aircraft for that matter. At least neither that she could recall. She could only nod placatingly as Melvin kept talking about something she just could not focus on. All she could think about was that the 'solid' ground beneath her feet was clearly moving.

No, no, no. This would not do. The little black dress was her last resort, always her last resort. She was not wearing this if they were being the 'VIP' group of this cruise, she needed something new.
But she only had a hundred bucks. She didn't get a chance to grab her wallet. Not cool. She could not get a new dress, shoes an accessories with a hundred dollars.
But perhaps..H? Would he indulge in her need for something more suitable? The man had given her two thousand dollar shoes, surely a dress wouldn't be a big deal. It had been so long since she'd spent time with him, she did miss it. She would pick a dress first and then she would find him and--
Oh. Oh! She had Dakota now!
Candace couldn't help but smile when she spotted Dakota with..Otto? Whoa, Otto cleaned up nicely! She had never seen him dressed in a suit before! Good on you, Dakota. Good on you.
"Dakota~." Candace called out with a slight purr to her voice, approaching the two young men and taking Dakota's hands in hers. "Hello, Otto. Very nice, I like it." She grinned at the blonde before quickly turning to Dakota. She gave Dakota the saddest look.
"Babyyyyyy," she whined pitifully, "I don't like this dress, but I left my wallet at hoooooome." What a terrible predicament she was in, Dakota. She leaned in close. "Are you busy? I need a new one." Not want. Need.

Aleister had at least enough sense to bring his wallet. Though having seen Allan with his 3DS he wished he'd actually brought his GBA, no matter how outdated it was.
He sighed as he walked around the Promenade. He was just glancing at the stores, and occasionally the Casino sign unsure of what he really wanted to do, hands in his pocket. He didn't really feel that odd walking around in his hunter uniform. It wasn't swag but it was at least something not embarrassing.
He glanced at the suits, almost tempted to check them out a bit. However, the price tags kind of made him shy away a bit frowning heavily. He didn't want to blow what he had in one store. He shook his head as he glanced around.

When Saya entered the Promenade, her eyes naturally passed by the expensive stores with little interest. Her hands adjusting her puse strap, her eyes lit up at the sight of ice cream. Reasonably priced, considering the rest of the area's merchandise. Out of the corner of her eye, she spied Kat and Mark at the par, giving them a brief quizzical tip of her head.
Kat.. and Mark?
But ice cream was higher on her priority list than her friend's choice of company. She spied several other hunters walking into the suits store, as she stood there, tipping her head quizzically too.
"Well.. Ryan, Wilson .. Since everybody else seems busy and if you guys don't want to buy suits, do you want to make a group trip to the ice cream store?"

Deus did not often sell ice cream. At all. Whatsoever.

Melvin was too excited to focus on much of anything. "Boats are great. I lived near the marina and swam a lot. Also went fishing in every season and once a year my dad and uncle would take me and my brother and my nephew Daren to a cabin near the beach. I really used to like to swim a lot when I was young, but then chaned that to learning how to driving a boat." He remember the thrill of being left alone to drive a boat for the first time. It had been more exciting than getting his driving license.
It twisted his heart painfully. "I miss that." He tried not to think about it.
"Anywhere you want to go?"

As to be expected from a cruise ship. Almost everything here was ridiculously expensive. While he certainly possessed the funds to purchase the more higher-priced items, his Asian frugality made it damn near impossible to even touch such merchandise. They were simply out of the question. Noticing Saya’s curious look, Wilson followed her gaze toward Kat and Mark. Huh. He hadn’t thought such a matchup possible, but you learn something new every day. A lot of things could change in the span of six months.
He laughed as he loosened his tie. Sorry, Marcus. “Yeah, I think I’m plenty dressed up for this mission, and I’m assuming buying a suit just for the occasion isn’t up Ryan’s alley.” A toothy grin. Had a certain blonde hunter picked up on Wilson’s deadly sweet tooth? “I think you just read my mind there.”

The only question she actually knew - her division. "Moon." She answered quickly. "Big old sliver of moon." Then she realized just how casually they were talking about this, and bent in to whisper conspiratorially again. "Should.. should we even be talking about this?"
