Kieran spent the turn fixing his helmet and getting back on his horse.
"HA! THE GREAT KIERAN IS FAR ABOVE YOUR LEVEL LANCE! WHY I REMEMBER THE TIME......" Rather then do anything productive he also launched into a huge tale about how he fought off the berserk fire ants of Mordache that had broken into the celller of Learanian's oldest wine celler.
He hasn't been in Learania long, give him time to get some less lame stories.

The light rune around the mage finally wore off and vanished, allowing the mage to proceed on to space 18.
The revenant with the white gem limped on to space 9.
The next revenant ended up on space 10.
The last one paused a moment on space 12.

As the revenant climbed up the stairs on space 9... ...a trap is sprung! The stairs yet again become smooth, causing its new victim to fall and lose 10 health. However, the revenant managed to attack the knight for 6 damage. As the mage approached, the group could see that his movements weren't like a normal, living person. But that didn't stop him from shooting a wind spell at Kieran, who was already injured and thus the prime target, inflicting 2+4=6 damage. The enemies end their phase.

"Well this is just wonderful. More trouble." She commented about the revenants getting closer. At least the stair trap helped injure it. Suddenly a gust of wind came from behind her and hit Kieran. Aruna's serpentine eyes shifted to their new foe. "Uh oh..." Something about the mage seemed off to her. Its movements were unnatural for a human being. Could it be controlled by someone like a puppet? Maybe it was just her imagination. She hoped it was her imagination else a great sin had be preformed.  However, there were more pressing matters at the moment. Once again Aruna stood in place and aimed the basic healing staff at her injured companion giving him 10 HP back.

As Kieran skips his turn, the two revenants continue their slow pace forward, one ending on space 9, the other stopping on space 11.

As the revenant reaches space 9... ...a trap is sprung! As the revenant begins climbing the stairs, a click is heard and the stairs yet again go slick, causing both revenants to fall down, inflicting 10 damage each. However, that didn't stop both of them from climbing back up and swatting at Kieran. The one with the white gem inflicts 7 damage, while the other inflicts 10 damage. Instead of attacking, the mage takes a moment to focus, so that his next attack will be more powerful. The enemies end their phase.

Lance moved to space 8 and used Steal to swipe yet another gem.
Maybe he could ditch these losers and just go home with the gems...
Nah.
He took off his shades and chucked them to Kieran. "I've heard that you're less inclined to get attacked if you look too swag. Put these on. And take off that ridiculous red armor it's drawing attention to you. Give it to Snake Lady. It suits her eyes."

"Oh please. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing that clunky, overgrown tea kettle," Aruna commented. "Just give me that Provoke scroll you found earlier. I've got an idea."
The "cleric" stole from traded with Kieran.

As the revenant makes it to the stairs... ...a trap is sprung! The stairs yet again turn into a slide that causes the units upon them to go tumbling down, inflicting 10 damage each. Two of the revenants meet their end and begin to decompose. Finally fully focused, the mage unleashes the spell he had been enchanting at Aruna, who seemed to have begun flipping him off after reading a scroll. The wind blade flies passed her, inflicting (9+4)x2= 26 damage. Elsewhere, the revenant got back to his feet and swung his claws at Lance, who for some reason was standing out more than Kieran was, inflicting 4 damage. The enemies end their phase.
