It's okay. He was enjoying the view.
Kettil had strode up more toward her side at this point, he noted her eyeing the couple with their treat and then beamed happily at her, "Yeah! We'll get some," he promised. He was surprised and quite happy she even wanted food. This made him hopeful for all sorts of things in the future. He draped an arm around her waist as he walked over toward the ticket vendor to get them a ticket onto the ride.
Eventually they got on, it was like being on a giant boat but the sides were just a little bit too high. "Pick a seat so I can help you buckle in!"

Freya picked a seat. There would be no surprise involved. "THE FRONT!" She climbed into the boat once they were inside, and plopped down in the very first row. Nothing could go wrong with this idea, it had worked out so well on the first ride..

Kettil didn't know any better and thus couldn't warn her or prepare her for any shenanigans that might go on. The boil helped Freya get settled and then he settled himself right next to her, "THE FRONT," he chimed after he was seated.
It didn't take long before the ride soon got going. There was a lot of swinging back and forth until it almost seemed like they would swing about in a complete 180.
Kettil was shouting loudly the entire time.

This particular ride did not try to hold her down. There was a bar in front of them, but that was all - and she held on tight to it, but she had no real worries about the ride being too out of control since it was so much less restricting than the other.
And then they started swinging.
"Weeeeeeee!" Freya held her hands up in the air, as they swung back and forth. "This is fun!" Back and forth they went, higher and higher with each swing, until one particular swing had Freya actually lifting off of her seat. This was the moment she put her arms down and actually held on to the bar. But it wasn't nearly as high as the ride was intending to go next.
With each increased swing, Freya's screams became louder and filled with more insane laughter. Her body lifted right off the seat a few inches as they soared down, her little skirt floating helplessly in the air until the downswing occurred. Her eyes closed and she held on for dear life.

The contraption swung here and there, Kettil laughed and yelled. He clung on as best as he could and then eventually the ride ended leaving him giddy and light headed. The boil stood up shakily and offered a hand toward Freya to help her up, "WOOO~! All of the fun, we are having it," he announced with a large grin.
It felt good to go on a date with Freya even if it was semi-impromptu. He hoped it would always be like this.
"We should go out like this more," he said voicing his thoughts.

Freya was still screaming even after the ride was over. They had to pry her off of the bars, but eventually she was stumbling away, giggling with light-headedness.
"Hooter.. eehehee.. I thinkekeehehhhheee.. we takes break now okays.."
And then she fell over, face first, into the dirt.
Still giggling.

Kettil was a little bit wobbly as well as he tried to help Freya up and then stumbled along off of the ride with her. There was a small yelp of surprise as she collapsed to the ground and he moved to kneel down with her, "Auuugh. F..Freya." He laughed a bit.
"You alright?" Lightly he started to help her sit up, "I think a rest is good. Think I'm hungry now.."

Freya was a limp doll when Kettil tried to help her up, and she threw her arm around his shoulders, letting her full weight rest on him. "Ja, rest, rest is good. Funnel cakes. And rest. And the world is spinnings and-"
She was starting to slide back onto the floor again.

Kettil leaned and lightly kissed her on the lips, "Funnel cakes," he agreed with a small grin as his arms slipped around her so he could pick her up. He seemed to be more stable of the two of them.
"Wanna share one or ya want one of your own?" He asked as he moved to shakily get to his feet once Freya was in his arms.

"Share please!" She squeaked as he picked her up off the floor. She clung on for dear life, making little sounds every time she bounced against him. "But I wants teh picks what goes on it, okays? I promise I will picks good things."
The idea had her all excited, and not at all nauseated - which just made her more excited.

"You got it~," he said which pretty much encompassed everything. She seemed to do better when she got to pick what she ate and so he didn't argue with it. The boil carried his ghoulfriend all the way toward the booth where funnel cakes were being prepared and sold.
Once there he gently set Freya on her own feet so she could better see what was being offered for toppings and such, "Get to pickin'~," Kettil announced.

The menu had all the pretty pictures and Freya was entranced by all the colors. When they were ready to take her order, she'd almost figured out what she wanted.
"OKAYS! I wants. A funnel cake." Duh. "With.. strawberries, and apples, and powdered sugar, and whipped cream. But extra whipped cream, okays?" Whipped cream was the best. Sure, it was pure sugar, but it actually had little to no calories in it. And she was active enough to burn sugar pretty fast.
"LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS." Her hands flew up in the air. Hell, they should just give her the entire bottle and let her suck it down.

Kettil just watched in amusement as Freya made her order. The staff at the booth didn't question her and thankfully any commentary or odd looks they might have given her was kept in their minds.
Soon Freya had her funnel cake as she wanted it.
And then some.
The boil paid for it, "Alrighty! Let's go sit somewhere and enjoy it."
Nearby were some chairs and tables for them to rest at.

Freya stared at the monster she'd just ordered, especially the mountain of whipped cream. She stuck a finger in it, and it jiggled. "Ooooooh."
Kettil took it away, and she followed it like a puppy, licking the whipped cream off her finger. "Oh wait, we needs forks and knives!" She hurried back to the stand to grab two sets of little plastic forks and knives, before returning to where Kettil had settled down with the funnel cake. Then she put them in front of him, and got her face up real close to the whipped cream.
She stuck her tongue out at it, and it jiggled again. "Ooooooooooooh."

It was like he was luring her on and he just snorted as she went to get forks and knives. He was staring at it wondering what would be the best way to attack it and then...
Freya stuck her tongue out at it.
"..That isn't how you eat it, screechie." He took some of the cream on his finger and offered it to her mouth.
This was totally the best idea he ever had, right?
