Jarel misses his right hand, carrying him a step forward, and giving Nuke the opportunity to get behind him. surprisingly, Nuke lifts the Dragon off his feet and drops him with a german suplex

Hitting the German Suplex seemed to give Nuke a new lease of life in this match, as he shot to his feet and charged towards the ropes, bouncing on the middle one and yelling out at the crowd - who didn't take too well to that, and screamed abuse back.
Turning to face Jarel, he cocked his head to the side and stalked forward, getting to the lower end of his body. Waiting for the man to crawl himself in to the center of the ring, that's where Nuke would attempt to grip the ankle of the Dragon and drop down in to his signature Ankle Vice!

laying on the mat already, Jarel had pushed himself up onto his elbow, his hand going to the back of his head from the landing. when Nuke goes for his leg, however, Jarel pulls both legs towards himself and shoves back out, attempting to shove the smaller man off before he can lock his signature hold in

"Damn it!", Nuke thought as he was kicked back. He rolled backwards and up on to his feet, as he waited for Jarel to get up as well. He knew that in a technical fight he had the upper hand, though he should avoid a brawl if possible.

Jarel rose to his feet again and signals for Nuke to bring it on, a slight smirk on his face as he'd avoided a painful situation there

Reaching out with his left arm, Nuke kept his right ready as a fist, waiting for Jarel to take the lockup.

a bit of an odd choice to some at this point in a match, but Jarel will take it. Going into the lockup, he quickly attempts to pull Nuke into a side headlock

The lockup is connected, and Jarel moves quickly in to a side headlock. Wrapping his arms around the waist of the bigger man, Nuke attempts to run him back-first in to the nearest turnbuckle.

Jarel honestly wasn't expecting that, and finds his spine hitting the turnbuckle. However, he attempts to hang on to the headlock for the moment

The headlock is still in place, something Nuke wasn't hoping for. Pressing his own weight and strength in to the abdomen of Jarel, he waited as the ref came forward and told both men to break their holds.

Jarel lets the ref count a bit before releasing the hold, but then goes to shove Nuke away

Nuke was pushed away from Jarel, as the ref stepped back from the action again. Feeling a bit light headed from the headlock, Nuke rubs his eyes a little and then waits to see if there would be another offensive from Damone.

Jarel walks forward, his eyes locked on his rival, and stops just short of him, looking down at him. Then he does something very uncharacteristic for him. He attempts to slap him across the face, a smirk on his face the whole time

Nuke watched curiously as Jarel simply walked towards him, keeping his guard for any cheap shots. But what happened next was so unexpected; a big red mark was left across the God's face as he fell in to the ropes, the victim of a vicious slap from the bigger man.
The crowd roared out in approval, as Nuke saw red and rushed forward, attempting to ground the big man by lifting his legs off the ground, where he would follow with a ground-and-pound assault.

Jarel actually laughs, a strange reaction from him, as Nuke takes him to the mat. However, he's a former MMA guy so the ground and pound game is his. Reaching up, he attempts to shove Nuke to the side just enough to switch their positions and attempt his own assault
