Heidi's swats did not deter the large man, and Tuck attacked Heidi with renewed vigor. He didn't give the pair of Death hunters that passed them a second glance. All of his attention was on the blonde that he mercilessly tortured with tickles upon tickles.
"You deserve this," he chuckled, ceasing momentarily. "Stealin' my cereal outta my bowl. Cereal on the table, now that's fair game, but you gonna take a man's food outta his bowl?"
He wiggled his fingers menacingly.
"You deserve all the tickles you get, I think."

When Tuck stopped she took that chance to try and regain control of her breathing, laying on the floor and panting for air as she stared up at him. What? This was because she stole his cereal!? "I-I said it..it was payment!" Heidi protested, breathless. "For my services! The ice thing.."
His wiggling fingers had Heidi rolling over and trying to crawl away. No! Evil! EVIL! "I'm innocent in all of this! Innocent!" INJUSTICE!

"Okay, okay. Fine. I'm actually doin' this because you got the cutest damn laugh I ever heard in my life," Tuck crept slowly after Heidi as she crawled along, laughing his a** off.
"You want a truce, then?"
His eyes narrowed.
"Maybe I could be bribed."

She would not look at Tuck, he would just laugh about her blushing over his compliment. It was...it was anger! Yes! Anger! She was not cute, she was fierce and intimidating and...
And..
Heidi stopped to sit on the floor and look up at Tuck, her eyes narrowed with suspicion. "Whatcha want, Tuck?" She didn't have much to bribe with, really.

Tuck sat on the floor next to her, stretching his long legs out. He gave Heidi a thoughtful look.
"I'unno. What you got?"

"Uh.." Heidi blinked. What did she have? What did she bring with her from home.. "I haven't, like, gone shopping since coming here so...I have..clothes? But they wouldn't fit you. Um..I brought a couple books.."
What else.. "Money? I brought some money from home, but not a lot. I wasn't sure what I'd need." She moved to sit more comfortably, her elbows on her knees and her chin in her hands. "I don't really have much to offer."

Tuck lifted an eyebrow, mouth quirking to the side in a grin as he listened to Heidi list off all the things she had to offer. She was being totally serious, and he thought it was pretty goddamn adorable. Her clothes? No, Heidi, they wouldn't fit.
He bit back a laugh before holding up his hands, fingers wiggling.
"That don't sound like it's gonna work. You better come up with somethin' more appealin', or else."

Something more appealing? Heidi flushed, blinking and just staring at Tuck.
"A-appealing?" What was appealing? What could she offer him?
Um..uh...
..Er...well.. "A pretty girl?" He liked pretty girls, right? What if she gave him one she wouldn't throw ice at him for?

That grin on his face grew a little bit wicked - just a little bit - and he leaned forward slightly as if incredibly intrigued.
"You on the right track," Tuck lowered his hands. "I got an idea."

Oh thank god he finally had an idea. Heidi actually sighed with relief. "What's your idea?" She scoot closer. Was it a secret? Is that why he was leaning in?

Tuck's grin went from kinna wicked to completely wicked.
"You. Goin' on a date. With me."
Was he pushing her again? ********, he didn't want to ******** this up. Would she back away like she had this morning?
Tuck was taking a chance. He knew it. He was half-tempted to just kiss her, but he couldn't read her.
At all.
It was intriguing.

Heidi blinked and just stared, looking in complete disbelief over what she just heard. Tuck waned to take her on a date. Like...a date date?
She gave a nervous chuckle at first. Was he serious?
..He was serious.
Her eyes widened for a moment and she looked awestruck, quickly covering it up with a cough and sitting up straight as she gave Tuck a 'really, dude? really?' look. "Okay, sure. Yeah. Fine. I've been on, like, so many dates. What's one more?" She had never been on a date. Heidi waved a hand almost dismissively. "We can go on a date, if that's all you want. Totally cool." Someone wanted to take her on a date.
A legit date.
In her head she was squealing with excitement, on the outside she was trying to play it totally cool. She grinned. "When?"

Tuck's brows lifted. For a moment she looked completely shocked, and in the next she looked like it was totally nbd, man. He had no ******** clue what was going on in that head of hers.
But he wanted to find out.
"You get to set it up. Sounds like you got a lot of experience," Tuck reached out to lightly tug on that messy blonde hair before he leaned back on his hands.
"So, like. Yenno. Surprise me."

Wait. What. No, no! Abort! A mildly panicked look could be seen in her eyes until Tuck tugged on her hair. She squeaked and swatted the offending hand away. "Oh, no. This date is your idea, you plan it." It would give her time to go 'ohmygodimgoingonadate!' while Tuck did all the work. "Just, like..tell me when and what to wear." That was important right? Heidi couldn't help the goofy grin on her face as she toyed with the piece of hair Tuck had been messing with. Hehee~ She was going on a date~. A daaaate a real daaaate~. Heidi was trying very hard not to show her excitement and instead keep a cool, calm facade. She was failing hardcore.

Tuck almost didn't give in. He almost stuck to his guns and demanded that she plan this date as repayment for eating the hallowed and sacred bite of cheerios. And then he saw how excited she looked. What to wear? When? Hell, he had no idea. He hadn't really expected her to agree to his terrible terms. But she had, and now Tuck had a date to plan. He wasn't even sure what the ******** he was doing. There weren't any clubs on the island, or movies, or restaurants - nothing. "What to wear?" Uh, s**t. "Clothes?" Yeah, clothes were good. Okay, no. He could totally do this. An idea came to him. It was lame, but he could make it work. "Tonight. I'll even pick you up."
