Elleth- Oblivionite Camp

There was an air of fuming anger that surrounded the silver haired Oblivionite as she pushed her way through the throngs of people, one hand firmly encircling the wrist of a lavender haired woman. "Eliji let go! You're hurting me-"

"No worse than you seem to always hurt yourself." The silver haired woman snarled back, yanking her forward so that she was no longer pulling the Adept. She let go of Elleth's wrist then, paying no attention to the bruises that were surely forming where she'd been gripping the other. "This entire situation stinks," She said, forcefully brushing her hair out of her face. She'd braided it back earlier but the mass had already mostly escaped its confinement. "There's gonna be a lot of dead by the time this blows over."

"There's already a lot of dead." Elleth replied quietly, "All those children-"

"Don't tell me you're going soft already. I know you haven't been fit for combat until now but so much down time shouldn't have addled you. We're tools Elleth. It doesn't matter what our age is or our skill level. We're expected to fight til our dying breath against any threat." Eliji's face twisted with an expression Elleth couldn't put a name to. "All that wasted potential. We're going to get them back for this, for every child killed in such an underhanded manner we're going to take three times as much from their hides."

Elleth reached out to touch Eliji's shoulder, "Go find out where we're bunking down. I'm going to head over to the training ground to get a bit of practice in. As you said I'm not ready for battle yet, too long in a sick bed. I'll find out later alright?" Eliji snorted but nodded and walked off, still visibly pushing people away from her. Elleth sighed and ran a hand over her face. The snarky sadistic girl she'd fallen for had transformed into a monster bent on revenge when the news had come. So many innocents dead because of the strife between the races. Whatever fragile peace that had held off all out war was gone now.

Elleth hoped that Samril was no where near this battlefield. She wouldn't be able to stomach fighting him.

With a groan she turned on her heels and stalked off, nearly tripping over one of the strange bonded dragons that some had tamed.

Eyphah

Eyphah lifted his head as he caught the scent of someone coming up on him, turning slowly around to glance at the one approaching him. A long stare and then a sniff at her and his maw twisted up into a bit of a grin, "Hello there, beautiful." He purred at her, tail swishing. Well now, another Drakein, huh? While a part of him wanted to chase her off he had to admit that he'd gotten a bit of a taste for the Ysali of late after his time hunting the dragons of that breed in Serenia, "What is a little Ysali like you doing here in such a dry, in hospitable place?" As though his being here would make much sense given that the Diabi weren't normally native to the area. Turning his head back to the battle, his glowing eyes flickering over each of the corpses closest to the edge of the fight, searching for the ones that he wanted the most. There seemed to be a lot of them on the battlefield, having spent their time killing one another, oblivious to the fact that there were those looking to celebrate the aftermath of the battles.

"Hrm? Oh, yes" He purred, "There is nothing better then when the foolish two-legs put on such a wonderful banquette for me. Need to wait for it to start to grow dark so that I can get what I want from them." He said, tail lashing from side to side, giving a bit of a purr, before he crouched down a little bit, "And you, my delicious Ysali, what are you after?" He didn't like to share... but there was a rather sizable selection down there, a buffet if you will, and he supposed that if she was really in the mood for a meal he could share. His tail lashed a moment more, "So long as you don't mean to take all of the delicious Orderite Birds for yourself I might be persuaded to share this bounty with you." He said after a moment, sitting up so that he could better face the one that he was chatting with.

Esmeralda

The Peisio Dovaa had seen the older Drakein land next to Junjie and for a brief second she wondered if Junejie might have had another Deakein hidden somewhere, but probably not. This was probably someone elses Drakein, she didn't see why the Ferals would get involved when no casualties had been reported from their side. There was also no way the Dovaa would allow an unknown Feral to walk around their camp, this was war after all and spying would not be tolerated. Hopefully tho nothing had happened to them, because their aid in the battle could turn tides. Good thing from far Jun looked like a Dovaa and not an Orderite, because if someone looked too closely he was going to be in deep trouble. Which was what she was trying to avoid to begin with, so Esme picked up the pace even as she saw the Drakein flying away from Jun.

As she got closer to Jun Esmeralda extended out her own arms towards him, but she tripped just as she was reaching him. Thankfully she’d already grabbed onto him and had fallen to her knees, the Peisio was quick to drag herself back up panting like she’d just ran a mile. Esme silently cursed her new clothing and the be damned sand made it hard to run or do anything. “Junjie! Are you insane?! Do you want to die?” The Dovaa moved so her back was towards the camp and Jun was somewhat hidden by her, she finally let go own him and grabbed onto her own cloak to hide him under it.

“What are you doing here? Do you know what happened? If someone found out you were a Hybrid with Orderite blood in you they would kill you.” She paused to look down at Abellio. “Both of you.” She said sternly, but quietly because while she was mad that he was just walking around and could have gotten caught, she didn’t want anything happening to him. “You scared the living daylight out of me.” The anger was gone from her voice replaced by concern. “Do you have any idea as to what is going on? Are you hurt? Does anyone know you’re here?”

Erionda

Erionda picked her way through the soft sand, careful not to make any sound. Following along behind Uassae and Lanzecki as the two headed toward the Dovaa settlement, she just couldn't bring herself to come out of hiding. Even with the Orderites. Knowledge there was a friend out there pushed her towards the Dovaa camp.

Several paces ahead of her Erionda could see a somewhat familiar figure. That couldn't possibly be Tilawen could it? Erionda asked of both her Drakein simultaneously.

Willing herself to believe her thoughts, she stubbornly kept her silence. Certainly the figure ahead of her was just a familiar look alike. The horns sure matched the girl though. Sprinting ahead of the small group Erionda glanced to the side "Tilawen? Is that you?" Smiling as she recognized the familiar orbs in her eyes.

"What brings you this far into the fie-"

"We don't have time! When I was with Junjie for the brief moment it looked like a Dovaa was racing forward to attack him!"

The urgency in the large Drakeins voice pulled a bow out of Erionda. "I apologize. It seems a friend of mine is in trouble. You're welcome to come along if you want." With that Rio turned and sprinted quickly after her companion as he lead the way towards Junjie.

Kavanna and Damian
A strong wind blew outside of the Naraama household in the early morning. It seemed just like any other ordinary day. The sun was out and shining brightly down upon Serenia. Kavanna was upstairs making the beds, as her husband hadn't been heard from in almost a week. Though she was rather excited that he would be coming home for a few days to spend time with her and Naomi. She hardly saw her husband since he was finally accepted into the Order's Guard.

The door to the house swung open with a crash as Damian entered, fully out of breath. "Mom! Gran! Are either of you home!?" he called out, rushing from the kitchen into the living area and then even into the back yard.

Kavanna heard his worried voice and instantly became worried as well, stopping her chores and instantly going downstairs to meet with her son, who was just entering from the backyard. "Dom, what's the matter!? Is everything alright!?" Kav questioned, quite panicked at the thought of something terrible going wrong.

"Mom, there you are! We have to get to Eowyn right now! I was in class earlier and the teacher-" he said as he was cut off by his mother's worried voice.

"You didn't give away your hybrid status, did you!? You're not in trouble are you!?"

"Mom! No! Just stop for a second and listen! My teacher made an announcement that they need all able-bodied Dovaa to aid in the war effort! Something really bad has happened. We have to meet with Marcus Ysaride and the other recruits at the Dovaa Outpost on Eowyn right away! I figured you guys here hadn't heard about it yet and wanted to come find you as soon as possible!" he said, extremely out of breath and panicked.

"All able-bodied Dovaa in the war effort!? Your father is apart of the Guard! If we are going to be apart of the war...wait...we'll have to take up fight against him and the rest of the Orderites! No...no! This cannot happen! Let me get packed up and we will head out! I will not go against your father during this war." she said, scurrying upstairs as fast as she could to gather some scarce supplies before leaving.

~~*~~~*~~~*~~

The two arrived at the Dovaa's camp hours later to find them amongst the rest of the recruited Dovaa crowd. Now it was time to wait for what to do next.

"Keep your wings hidden, Dom. Everything will be fine." Kavanna whispered to her son with a rub on his back, whom nodded with annoyance at his mother's statement. He felt as though it was obvious to keep his true identity hidden, just as he did all those years during his classes.

Adrastea
Adrastea walked through the sand as she arrived at the large campsite of Draco and the Oblivionites. Her hood concealed her identity further than just the hair style and color change and the strange "birthmark" upon her eye. Her quiver was full of arrows and her bow was placed neatly upon her back.

Those of the Order of the Onyx were told to take up arms with Draco Verrano for the time being as "wayfarer" Oblivionites who just wanted to do Soudana's bidding as to not bring any suspicion to them or the Order itself. They were to do whatever was necessary to protect the Order and their secrecy. They were sent out at different times and arrived from different places, spread completely throughout the crowd.

Adra clenched her fist as she saw Draco among the people, not even able to pay attention to her whatsoever or say anything about this war to her. Soudul was to be her land one day and she didn't even have a say in this portion of the war.

"Tck. He probably wouldn't like what I have to say anyhow." she thought to herself as she glared at the man who had put her under this facade.

All she could do is stand silently and wait for whatever orders were given to the crowd. She would jump at the opportunity to kill some Orderites, that much was for certain.

Levanael
Coming back home from his studies that day, his mother had received notice that any Orderites that were able to aid in the war effort, were to join up with the Orderite camp upon Eowyn at once. This was for Seren's glory, and that was what caused Levanael, as well as his mother, to be shipped off to the camp.

Lev's father would already be subjected to the camp considering he was apart of the Order's Guard as a barbaric tank and front linesman. Levanael looked up to his father for his courage in face of fear. His father hadn't ever shown fear when it came to doing things for the glory of the Goddess of Light.

The two arrived quite early to the Orderite camp and just stayed together as much as possible until his mother was needed in the tents to heal the nearby wounded.

Levanael was left alone awaiting the orders from Aevah Avi herself with the rest of the crowd. He was at the camp and that was all that mattered to him and the rest of the Orderites. Though his nerves crept up here and there for he realized then, that this would be his first (and possibly last) battle upon the battlefield.

Plesidio
Plesidio had left his family within their water hideaway to care for themselves while he took up aid with those who he deemed 'closest to him', the Dovaa. He had caught wind of the many dastardly deeds the Magescians were doing to one another, seeing as how his one and only friend was a Dovaa, he took aid with the Dovaa camp, settling himself on the outskirts, only barely able to listen to what was being told. The Drakein did not want to be caught, but rather, to be stationed outside so long as no one did anything to him. Being the peacekeeper he was, he just wished that the war would have ended and that the people would quell their fighting.

To his dashed hopes, none of that would occur today. He just stayed back for moral support and watched over the Dovaa's campsite as they were busy preparing their battle strategies. Hopefully he would be able to speak with Damian, his friend of many years, whom was primarily Dovaa in origin. That would mean he was safe...and his safety meant a lot to this Drakein. More than met the eye.

Lazuli had reacted to being poked at first with surprise and then a soft chuckle like sound. It had been a long time but he remembered this blue skinned girl. She was strong but nice except when you made her extra mad. "Hello Kadryn, Maslin is in the tent, he is healing people and being grouchy." Despite the words there as no warning in the drakiens tone. His bonded's default mood around other people was suspicion and standoffishness. Kadryn had earned the title of friend though and Maslin tended to tone down himself down in her presence.

It did made the mage feel a little better about the situation when hearing that the warrior does understand about what he’s feeling. He did take notice of how attentive the man was when Eku said about the Dovaa. But at least he knows he’s not the only one with these feelings and thoughts about it which made the young man smile. “Heh, it be good to know I’m not de only one wit’ dem thoughts.” He gave him a pat on his shoulder just to assure him. In a cloud thick of anger it really was good so he won’t be suffocated by his dilemma alone. Eku gave a nod of his head when learning his name and also the name of his bonded Drakein who does not look so happy at all to see them. “Nice to meet’cha two. Let’s be tryin’ to survive dis.” It’s all that they can do now and with less kills in their sight. All he hoped is that he won’t see Junjie out there somewhere or Esmeralda. The woman is a scholar after all. What are the chances for her to be here?

But he didn’t think about those chances when a flash of lavender hair caught his hollowed eyes. Vilzun saw her though for he was about to be tripped over by the warrior! However, he was able to move out of the way and bumping into Eku slightly only to get more of his attention to see the woman. “Hey, are ya okay dere?” He asked her. Apparently there are a few more who seemed to have the jitters maybe. It was odd to him for the mage never thought he would have much interaction with his kind seeing that he is very much of a reject.

Tilawen
Tilawen had been searching through the throng of people in hopes to see where Eironda's dragon had landed or it if it had leapt back into the air where it would be going. But by risking to look up she was also exposing her face to those around her. She wasn't fair skinned but almost a charcoal grey, she would stand out like a sore thumb amongst the people in the dovaa camp.

Still she had to find him..she would find him and then end his life. Perhaps it would result in her own death...but it would be worth it. A voice. She felt herself pause confused. No..that couldn't be.... looking over her shoulder she found herself actually surprised to see the young girl..or rather woman now coming up to her. But wasn't she wtih? Looking back she realized that the pair must of been separated.

Never responding as per the normal she listened to what Eironda was saying before she gave a small nod of her head. Though she wasn't exactly sure WHY she had agreed to go with the girl, now that she found her some part of her didn't want was to get separated from her. Annoyed with herself Tilawen only clutched her staff harder and quietly followed the girl.

A soft gasp escaped from Junjie as Esmeralda stumbled and caught hold of him as she fell, his hands grasping hold of her to try to keep from landing too hard before he gave her a bit of a smile, "I missed you too." He murmured, as though trying to lighten the mood a little given the look on the woman's face. She wasn't too happy, was she? When she was suddenly asking him if he was insane and if he wanted to die he could only stare at her, "Huh?" He gave a shake of his head in the negative, certainly not wanting to die today or any other day, "You know you are the second one to ask me something similar lately." He told her, first it was Eku asking him if he was ready to die when they were facing the Firani and now Esmeralda was asking him it about something he didn't quite understand. It was a strange sort of question but he would guess that it was about where he was at the moment, "Can't say that I do, no." He finally said.

When she asked him what he was doing here he looked around, "I thought that there was a chance that someone might need me, might need my powers." He explained, then looked a little confused, "What happened...? No, I don't know... I just thought maybe this was a little more of the same, part of the war that is going on?" Passed that he really had no idea. The woman suddenly mentioned what he was he was instantly lifting his hands up, covering her mouth, his bright eyes rather wide, "Shhhh... I am as Dovaa as anyone else right now." He said in a hushed tone, looking from side to side, hoping that nobody had heard what she had said about him. The fact that she was speaking out loud about his Orderite blood, it was a dangerous thing, she might have outed him... but it didn't seem as though anyone was close enough.

Her words about how they would kill 'both of them' Abellio gave a huffing sound, his feathers fluffing up in a rather displeased manner, as though he didn't like the insulting words, "No! Mine, Junjie!" He hissed at her, as though to trying to tell her that he wouldn't let anyone else come near his boy. He gave a stomp of his foot, then turned to look up at Junjie when the mage patted a hand against his neck to sooth him, "Junjie?"

"It's alright, Abellio, no need to fear." He said before he lifted a hand up to push back the second cloak that she had tossed over him, giving a bit of a smile, "I promise, it will be alright, just need to keep my cloak on. As for what is going on, no. If you wanted to tell me what it is that is going on then maybe I can help. Hurt? No... and I nobody knows that I am here, I looked around, didn't see any of the Dovaa that I know. My mother isn't around, neither is the Sage, or Burrom... at least there is you and a friend of mine as well, perhaps." Speaking of which... where was Erionda? He'd seen Uassae for a time, it meant that she must be nearby, right? He turned his attention for a moment away from Esmeralda to search the area, then went motioned, "Ah, there she..." He trailed off as he looked passed Erionda to see who was following along behind her, "Tilawen...?" What was she doing here? Now that was the real question... Erionda and himself, they could fake it, fake being Dovaa, but Tilawen, she was different. What if these Dovaa actually saw here as Eku had described himself, as the 'evil of the world'.

"Come on, Esmeralda, Abellio, we need to go over to them. If anyone is in danger here it's my friend Tilawen." He said in a hushed, gulping tone of voice before he grabbed up his 'walking stick', hurrying over to where the two other Hyrbids were, both of them seeming to be coming his way. That they were coming his way would make it easier for him to close the ground between his group and Erionda's group, "Erionda, Tilawen!" He said in a hushed tone, worry on his face. He had no idea what was going on, whatever it was he hoped that Esmeralda would fill them all in once they got gathered together into one group. He would be able to protect Tilawen the best that he could with her close to him, he promised her in the past that he would if the need arose after all, and he could only hope that the others would aid him even though Tilawen was half Oblivionite.

Abellio gave a little squawk sound before rushing forward as well, "Tila! Tila, Tila!" The little green Ysali squeaked out, eyes wide, seeming to be as startled as Junjie was about her being there. The moment he got close enough he set to trying to nuzzle against her, tail wagging, seeming to be glad to see her.

Kadryn:

Kadryn chuckled at the comment Lazuli made.
"Isn't he always grouchy? I'll go talk to him, maybe he'd like to chat for a while." She scratched Laz under the chin before heading into the tent. She wondered what had brought a hybrid out here. Didn't they normally avoid large gatherings cause the larger the crowd the bigger chance an idiot who hated hybrids would be there? Oh well, she shrugged as she entered the tent. Maslin was strong, he could take care of himself. I'd been a while since she'd last seen him, and he'd put on a lot of muscle. He looked more like a smith than her lean father did!
She saw the wounded and sighed with sadness. War really did do a ton of damage.. hunting dragons was dangerous, but it seemed war was worse....

She waited until Maslin was done with his patent before softly speaking up.
"Hey Maslin."

Toki:

He was confused. Orderites committing treason? How strange. He knew from tales and rumors brought back by traveling Drakeins that Orderites tended to not break their word nor attack Dovaas... so why had they now? It made no sense. They wanted the Dovaa on their side in the war with the Oblivionites. He rumbled softly, "I think someone's playing games Ara. Orderites have no reason to attack Dovaa and all the reason in the world to not attack. So I think that perhaps someone is trying to start a war...Though why when this fragile not quite a peace has reigned for so long I do not know... They must gain something from setting the Dovaa at the Orderites, and that points to the Oblivionites..." Which was weird, cause he knew that another scout from his tribe had gone and found out that the Oblivionites were angered at the Dovaa for something... and that just made no sense at all! Who would set all three races at each others throats?

A thought occurred to him as he thought this. There was someone among his kind who would gleefully do this... gleefully and with a lot of help from his kind who really hated the bonds. If there were no Maescians, there would be no bonds.. it did make a twisted amount of sense. He paused in his walk. "Ah.. perhaps Rhaze caused this... I know setting the Magescians to killing each other would something he'd do. But how I can not figure out... "

The Peisio Dovaa felt bad briefly for not at least having asked him how he was, but this was not like one of their causal meetings. They were in the middle of war, on a battlefield with each and every single race thirsting for the others blood. It made Esmeralda think about the last few days, even years, at the illusion of peace they had and how easily that illusion had been shattered. There was no time to dwell on the past now. “I’m not surprised.” She wondered who else had told him such a thing, another Dovaa maybe? Or someone else who knew he was a Hybrid?

“You haven’t heard.” Esmeralda let go of him to straighten herself out, no wonder he was out here then. “War is brewing, the Dovaa are getting involved because two of our kind were attacked. There are rules in war and they were broken, the two who died were thrown right into the vortex to be thrown back on the other side dead. One of them had…” Esme paused looking at him sadly. “He had Orderite feathers in his hand Junjie. The Orderite murdered two Dovaa and called us out into the war. It’s never been done, Marcus is neutral!” At this time, Esmeralda just wanted to break down and cry, the tears had already gathered at the corners of her eyes, but she willed them down. Crying about it would not help Junjie, it would help no one.

“Good you’re not hurt.” The Peisio Dovaa took a deep breath to relax the tense muscles in her shoulders. “You’re here with someone else? Another Dovaa I hope?” The other Dovaa in camp would know however that he was a Hybrid if his mother was in camp, another thing to worry about. “Junjie this is going to get messy and complicated and…” Again, Esmeralda had to hold herself from screaming out loud at the top of her lungs, or hit something or both. “I’m just happy you’re okay.” She offered him a small smile; they could figure out all of this out well before sun down or something.

Following his eyes, Esmeralda spotted the other Dovaa looking girl and then another face, but she knew this one, she’d met her. Esmeralda blinked a few times as Junjie went towards them, that girl was half Oblivionite, they were at war… What in the world was he doing, and more importantly what was she doing so close to the Dovaa camp? “Junjie!” Jun was a Hybrid, as was the half Oblivionite, did that make the other girl with them a Hybrid too? Was she about to step into this Hybrid triangle of sorts? Esmeralda wasn’t sure but she was not about to take any chances. Abronaxus help her if they got caught; they were all going to die.

Esmeralda didn’t like this and she slowed down to a halt a few paces from the trio even as Jun went to meet with them. Jun she knew, they were friends and he had even admitted to wanting to help out the Dovaa. The others tho, she would be wary of them. If the other Dovaa looking girl did prove to be a true Dovaa than good for her, otherwise it meant she might be working with the Orderites. She didn’t know what to think of why the half Oblivionite was here, she could not as easily blend in like Junjie. She was just going to wait on this, because there was no way she was getting closer if the other girl did prove to be a Hybrid half Orderite. Not after the killings, nope, not happening.

Nakre: Somewhere above it all

The bitter chill to the air meant very little to Nakre, who lazily shifted directions with the wind. There was something peaceful about being high up in the air, the only creature stupid enough to be up that high. The air was thin and the creatures below were nothing more than tiny specs. Specs that were massing in great numbers all across the desert. Had he the breath for it he was sure a sound of surprise would have escaped him.

Folding his legs closer to his body he angled his wings and started circling down back towards the ground. Nothing good ever came out of people massing armies.

Maslin

The young man paused and turned towards the sound of a familiar voice. He had been so deeply focused on stemming some sudden bleeding that had occurred and had failed to hear the blue skinned girl come in. Though she had changed again since he last saw her Maslin knew who this was his lips quirked up in a small smile. "Hello Kadryn," it was nice to see a familiar face and especially one not in one of the opposite camps. Although given how she looked he heavily doubted Kadryn had switched to the healing profession herself. Which meant she had come to fight and to kill. That was not a good thing so far as Maslin was concerned, Kadryn's temper plus the fuel that was an entire murdered village seemed like a bad combination for everyone involved.

"How are you?" This had to be a harder situation for her than him and Maslin could spare a few moments for pleasantries and to make sure he didn't need to magically sedate his friend. He did not want to see her out in the midst of the unceasing battle, getting herself killed because she was too blinded with rage to notice an incoming sneak attack of some sort.

Eanah

The last time she had left Eowyn, Eanah had told herself she would not return. She had known that it was unrealistic to consider staying away forever, which is why she had not sworn a personal vow, but she had still managed to avoid the desert for a number of years now, vow or not. It was an accomplishment.

Boarding the boat with Thren at her side brought forth a slew of memories she hadn't wanted to face, so she pushed them aside, closing her empty eyes and repeating one of her newer defensive chants under her breath. The world faded away, only returning when she was on the battlefield.

Eanah swung her scepter with a frown, smacking a bulky Orderite warrior when he got too close. She had yet to actually kill anyone, but she and Thren were on the edges of the action, watching and waiting for their moment.

((OOC: I would like to point out Erionda's sword isn't on her. It's attached to Lanzecki And Lanzecki is currently no where in sight.))

Erionda

Mismatched eyes fell on Junjie with a sigh of relief Erionda's shoulders relaxed. Uassae was right, he was ok. What about Kilian? She hadn't seen him for several days even before all this mess. She could only hope he was fairing alright. Perhaps this was only a fight between the Dovaa and the Orderite's? In which case her friend would be fine. Unless he ran into the Orderite camp stationed so close to her house.

Erionda didn't bother to smile beneath her hooded cloak. He wouldn't be able to see her face right now anyway. The movements would be wasted. "Why are you hushed... Wait..." Erionda's head snapped between Tilawen and Junjie. "Wait you two know each other!? Since when?"

She wasn't sure if she really should be surprised or not. Tilawen had stumbled upon Rio when she camped not far from where Junjie lived. Given that bit of information, it was almost silly not to put two and two together and realize it sooner. Somehow she had figured, that she was the only one able to reunite people.

The hybrid's heart broke when Abellio rushed by her. Had he not recognized her? Perhaps he didn't like her? Or was there more to the friendship Junjie and Tilawen shared? As if in response to her silent melancholy Uassae moved around the back end of Tilawen. Blocking her from view on just about every angle. Reaching forward to shove his head affectionately into Rio. A soft purring croon reaching out to comfort her.

Giggling at the gentle nudge Erionda lifted one hand from within her cloak to stroke his muzzle. Her mismatched eyes following Uassae's blue ones. She could feel the female Dovaa's eyes on her. Defensively Rio stared back at her with a strange intensity behind her gaze, a searching look meant to discern what she was thinking. Grinding her teeth Rio turned protectively, shifting between Tilawen and the strange Dovaa.

Without her sword to aid her, Erionda would resort to her clan magic if she had to. Dropping her hand to her side as the cloak moved to shroud her whole figure once again. Her hands balling into fists. From the appearance of the girls eyes. She must be a Peisio, leaving her a only a slight advantage if it came down to a fight.

Flicking her finger of the edges of the fabric draped over her. Erionda allowed her magic to activate. Creating a visual appearance of frost on the edges of her clothes. A simple enough gesture to show she wasn't fooling around. And wouldn't hesitate to defend Tilawen or Junjie.
