That was better. Lavender eyes narrowed up at gnat, but after a moment they softened, and her shoulders sagged a little. It was obvious the fight was over, and she didn't want to hold onto the tension any longer.
"Naw, probably not." She snorted, flexing her fingers gingerly and trying not to wince from it. "Always been a bit of a hot head, and he seems the stubborn sort." Just like his sister.
The compliment was a surprise, and Peyton stared up at the other woman wearily before the shadow of a smirk tugged at her lips. "Thanks, you're good, too." If they hadn't had their fear shields, the both of them probably would have been walking away from some busted up ribs.

She grinned.
"Thanks, but let's be honest - you jus' about knocked me on my a**." She desummoned her weapon and began stretching, mostly out of habit than anything else.
"Phew. Feels kinna nice though." She felt relaxed, as stupid as it was - they'd fought it out, and Peyton won. It was over, for better or worse, and that was that. Once she'd accepted it it was easier to let go of the bitter anger. Besides, the other woman was right; she knew her twin - Tuck would heal, and he'd probably been asking for it. It was helped that her fellow sun hadn't been cruising to bust his a** so badly.
"Nice t'meet ya, by the way. We never really got a chance t'say hi."

Peyton smirked at the acknowledgement that she'd nearly knocked the other girl silly, and it did wonders to lift her mood.
"Glad I could help you blow off some steam, then." She chuckled, and following suit, she interlaced her fingers before stretching her arms above her head, only to wince and drop them down with the quickness, uninjured hand cradling bruised knuckles. Her had was going to hurt like a b***h come morning, she could already feel it.
"Like wise." Now they they weren't throwing punches anymore, Gnat seemed like the kind of girl Peyton could actually get along with well. "You wanna head inside? I'll buy us some lunch"

She thought about it. She could really use a shower -
Her stomach gurgling cut off that though abruptly.
"Sure," she replied, grinning embarrassedly.
