"Only if she decided to go home," Demoni pointed out. "Which is what I was going to talk to you about. I think I've put enough doubt in her that even if she initially leaves... she'll come back before she reaches her destination." Guilt and doubt were powerful weapons to wield... and in Demoni's hooves, they were notoriously good at bringing others into submission.

Ruin glanced at his mate cautiously. "I trust you, Demoni." He said, his tone belaying a bit of a dangerous note in it, not that he would ever harm Demoni, just that their 'arrangement' may result in a conflict or two.

Demoni just smiled. Well, this was not the ideal mood in his mate, but it was at least better than the submissive attitude he'd had earlier with Wrath. "Don't look so grumpy," he purred. "Things are running smoothly. We can worry about the bumps in the road when we get to them." And flatten them, of course.
