Brett's head hurt from everything that had happen in past 24 hours. His best friend for years, how many years though Brett tried to recall. The more and more he thought about it his past seemed foggy.He started to wonder if Clarissa remembered anything when they were kids.Scanning the trees for Max's return Brett fell to his knees holding his head.
- - Flash back
"Brett your to fast." Little Clarissa made a pout face crossing her arms.Brett chuckled transforming out of wolf form. Just as soon as they started to have fun a group of people dressed in all black with the council symbol appeared out of the woods. Out of habit Brett transformed back standing infront of little Clarissa. A man who seemed to be the leader smiled. " Hello Brett and Clarissa, we came to talk to you about some how can you say this considerations.." The air seemed stung with silence Brett's growl stopped still never leaving Clarissa's side. "As we have looked more into your and Clarissa's situation , it is clear to everyone this can no longer happen. Yes some questions still remain as how a destined werewolf hunter can be born with a strong bond with you a werewolf. So sadly children we are taking this into our own hands. Worry struck Brett as he lunged for the leader, stupid yes a child vs an adult.Some members grabbed Clarissa's swinging her over their shoulders. Clarissa kicked and looked at Brett with tear filled eyes. The second Brett took his eye off the leader looking at Clarissa he blacked out.

  Clarissa advanced more and more throughout the whole day. She was farther than all of the other people that have been there for months. Clarissa has aced every course she was put through. What felt like forever and it was, she was approached by Major Thorton and he handed her a piece of paper. "You have successfully aced all of your courses in one day. Faster and better than any other person we have ever had besides two people." Clarissa raised an eyebrow. "And who are the other two?"
He just smiled and handed her the piece of paper. "Read this and you'll find out." he turned away from her and she took the piece of paper and opened the council seal. Once she opened it, she saw her full name in big and fancy print across the top.
Our dearest Clarissa, we know you have been going through tough times without us and we're sorry that we were never there for your huge success and triumphs, but believe us, we wanted to be there for you every step of the way. And you have gotten this letter because you have been destined to be a werewolf hunter just like us; your parents.
Clarissa gasped and covered her mouth with her hand. My parents are the top two best werewolf hunters ever? That means the Matthews family is one of the best. She continued to read.
You my dear are the next biggest werewolf hunter there is going to be. You're going to be so successful and we can feel it. You have a huge task ahead of you, which you are starting tonight. I can't tell you who, but it's a family we have been following for a long time. We love you and be safe. Major Thorton will give you your black Council Uniform and tonight you will be on your way.
Clarissa couldn't believe it. After all these years her parents have been gone, they were werewolf hunters and thats why they were never there for anything of hers. She had to push all the hatred back and focus on her task that she had to do tonight. Clarissa walked up to Major Thorton and stood infront of him with her hands on her hips.
"I'm here for my uniform."
He smiled at her and led her to a room filled with uniforms. They walked all the way to the back with a glass case with Clarissa Matthews printed neatly onto it.
"Here's your uniform. It should fit perfectly."
He entered the code into the glass case and it popped open. She smiled and and Major walked out of the room. Clarissa took her uniform out and stripped out of her PT clothes and slipped on her uniform. She walked to a mirror and looked herself over. It did fit her perfectly and it looked amazing on her even though it was a uniform. Clarissa walked back out and people were all staring at her and they erupted into clapping. She smiled and continued walking towards Major and an older woman, the one that handled her PT earlier.
"We're going to equipt you with weapons and then at eleven clock tonight, you will be set out on your first misson."
Clarissa nodded and they started putting weapons on her.
And then she waited...

Brett seemed to have blacked out, when he awoke he was on a bed. Panic ran through him instantly, but to his relief he was just in the abandoned cabin. Max let out a sigh sitting across the room. Brett sprang up shaking his head " Max get out what part of I hate you dont you get ?" with a frown Max stood up. " Brett you're going to need me to survive whether you want to like it or not. Now I'm going to introduce you to a nice family like us. They can give you some tips and even me. The hunters are more active and recruiting more as we speak. Every werewolf needs to be on extra guard." Brett closed his eyes in defeat, all this still felt like a dream and any moment he wanted to wake up. As of right now it was real and dreaming or not Brett wanted to stay alive. "Fine lets go.I still dont forgive you." Max rolled his eyes "Like I said you'll thank me later." It wasnt long before they reached a beautiful secluded house. " Brett now it might be hard for you but contain you're bluntness it could be a bit rude."
Occ: 4am and I cant sleep because I feel bad I said I'd reply and I should I love this rp of ours hun! I'm sorry :C I really cant sleep because I love this rp and I should reply more. : /

Clarissa was sitting on the edge of her chair and watched the clock. Fifteen seconds till it's exactly eleven o'clock. She had her hands clasped together and her leg was shaking up and down. 5...4....3....2.....1 It was time. Clarissa stood up and just as she did, her name was being called. She speed walked towards her name being called. Major Thorton of course was calling her.
"Are you ready Matthews?"
Clarissa nodded her head. "Yes sir." He smiled at her and nodded his head.
"Well, since you're ready; go on." He opened the door for her to leave out of. She was half way out the door, when she turned on the heel of her boot and walked back. Clarissa hugged Major Thorton and smiled. "Thank you." He hugged her back and then she let go and she was out the door.
It had been a hour since she has been in the woods and no sight of anything. She had her night vision glasses on so she could see what was besides her, infront of her and behind her. Clarissa had to admit, she was scared and nervous. And she had to check her rapid breathing many times because werewolves can hear how fast you're breathing. She continued walking steadily and was making sure not to step on anything that would make a sound. And Clarissa continued looking.

Brett rolled his eyes opening his mouth to protest. "I'm not rude.. maybe sometimes." Max opened the door with Brett not far from behind him. "Brett meet the Sterlings, a family of werewolves that has been around since ancient history." Aurora and Derek smiled and held out their hands. " Brett we heard so much about you in fact, you're quite the talk around here. Being a new werewolf and all. I'm Aurora and this is my husband Derek." Brett shook their hands and looked around the place. "It's an honor to meet you guys. I'm still new to all this , so if you dont mind me asking why am I the talk around here?" Derek glanced at his wife then back to Brett. " No one is quite sure but there's something special about you. Something that happened long ago that connects you to werewolves. The council wont let anyone in on their secrets of course and the hunters are going wild to find you. As the most experienced family we'd like to help you. Odds are if you get caught by anyone theres no telling what theyed do to you."Brett swallowed loudly, this was definitely not on his expecting list. Max leaned against the wall shoving his hands in his pockets. " You need to be protected, the best way and as soon as possible."

Clarissa was getting frustated. She hadn't found anything yet in the woods. And she means nothing! Nothing was there. She stopped walking to take a breather to try to clear her head. "Look for footprints and shredded clothes. Those are some major clues as to werewolves were there." Major's words echoed in her head and she took a deep breath and exhaled. "Clothes and footprints.. got it," she said barely above a whisper. Clarissa continued walking and she took a turn off of the trail and continued look some more. She was looking at the ground and soon enough she found a couple of huge footprints. She squatted down and took a closer look at them, they were so much bigger than her hand. She then took a small camera and took a picture of them. She put the camera back and continued walking. A couple of feet ahead of the foot prints she saw a pile of clothes. Clarissa ran to the pile and picked up the clothes. She looked at them, they looked really familiar. She smelled them. The scent. She couldn't place it. Clarissa smelled them again and then it hit her. Brett. This was his scent. And these were his clothes. Her body started to shake and she felt like a dead weight. Shredded clothes and huge werewolf footprints. Was Brett dead? Did the werewolves kill him? Yeah, Clarissa didn't forgive Brett for ever hitting her. But then he disappeared so what was she supposed to do. He was still her bestfriend, the only one she ever had. And he's probably dead. Clarissa tried to blink back tears but they came to fast for them to stop them. She held his shirt in her hands and wished she would of forgiven him.

Brett high sense kicked in smelling a human, did all of them smell as good as this one. A hunter was the first thing that he trained his mind to think. Max smelled it too, a small smile came to his lips. Only a small one, happy that Brett's senses were kicking in fast but not happy because it was most like a hunter. "This hunter is new I can tell." Max said in a serious tone. Aurora looked at Max " Come back soon, but for now you should get Brett out of here." Derek nodded agreeing with his wife. "Luckily they know little information about you." Before Brett could respond Max picked up Brett at fast speed and set him to the ground. " Transform hurry. Right now is a good example of learning how to run. Even though the hunter doesnt suspect anything or isnt in a hurry its good practice." Brett watched Max transformed he too transformed groaning a little in pain. Brett ran with Max wondering why part of him wanted to go back, it was almost like that scent was familiar.

Clarissa wiped away her tears and put Brett's clothes in the book bag she had on her back. She wanted to wrap herself up in them and just go home and sleep. What if Brett was really dead? She wouldn't know what she would do with herself. But she had to continue; Clarissa wiped her eyes again continued walking. As she got further into the woods, she heard some noises. Like someone was in front of her, there then was a snap and a solid thumping noise on the ground. Wow, the hearing equipment worked so good. "Remember, this hearing equipment will help you here everything around you. Even the smallest sounds you will hear." Clarissa nodded her head to the reminder floating through her head. She started heading towards the sound. The steady thump got faster and faster as if someone or something was running. Clarissa's instinct kicked in and she was running after danger like she always did. She was running faster trying to see if she could catch up to them or it. She wasn't paying attention to where she was running and she lost her balance tripping over a tree root that was sticking out of the ground. She fell with a hard thud! and she put her hands out infront of her to catch herself. Bad idea. "Ow. Sh*t. Bad idea." She sat up and looked at her hands, they were scratched and red. But her ankle hurt the worst. "Guess it's camp time." Clarissa took off her bag and pulled the tent from the top of her bag and started putting it together. About fifteen minutes later she had it up. Clarissa threw all her stuff into the tent and she then crawled in herself. She crawled into the sleeping bag and laid her head on the pillow. Clarissa was quickly out and all she could dream about was if Brett was dead or not.. more like nightmares.

Max stopped waiting for Brett. " Think we lost the hunter for awhile. There is a cave near by that we can stay in for while." Brett let out a sigh transforming back to human form. The scent wasnt really there anymore, but just faintly still in his nose. He had high doubts that it was Clarissa, and couldnt even begin to think howed he'd explain all this to her. Max walked into the cave nodding. " Not the worst place Ive slept in thats for sure." Brett sat down in the cave. Max of course notices everything and had to ask. "Why the long face Brett, thinking of a girl or something." Brett licked his lips and closed his eyes. " Matter of fact I am, she's my world and if this werewolf stuff isnt enough me punching her would have been." Max raised an eyebrow " You punched a girl?" Brett shook his head " Never on purpose she is my world."

Clarissa woke up to the sun pouring through the tent. It was the worst sleep of her life. She kept tossing and turning having nightmares about Brett. He was her life and she still couldn't face the reality that he could be dead. But she had to get up and face the world of hunting werewolves. Clarissa sat up and brushed her hair out and even applied some make up onto her eyes. She then packed everything up and grabbed a granola bar out of her bag and started munching on it. Clarissa stuck the night vision goggles in the bag as well. She then was on her way to look for more clues. As Clarissa was walking she kept her eyes open for anything, but something in the distance caught her eye. From right where she was at, it looked like a deer but as she got closer it turned out to be a cabin. She wanted to go inside but she was nervous, what if someone was in there. Clarissa sucked it up and kicked open the door bring a badass. She had her bow and arrow ready to shoot anything that seemed suspicious. Nothing. She lowered her bow and looked around. There were some empty beer bottles and clothes laying around. Probably from some guy getting away or getting laid. She picked up the clothes and sniffed them. Again. It was Brett's scent. "What the hell? she mumbled to herself. She stuck the clothes in her bag and a beer bottle that could have anything of Brett's DNA on it into a plastic bag and stuck that into the bag as well. Clarissa decided to stay in the cabin and look around some more.

Max kicked Brett in the stomach. Startled he jumped up " What the hell man is that how you wake someone up , its ******** cruel." Brett snapped. This anger made his eyes turn bright gold. Max smirked nodding in approval. " Just making sure the changes are taking full effect and fast, your'e going to need it ." Brett rolled his eyes walking out of the cave. Max followed walking infront of him. "We should train." Brett could already till this wasnt going to be very pleasant. It struck him that the scent was even fainter than before he had went to sleep.Max instantly saw an advantage to channel Brett's anger and the rest of emotions. "Lets see how well you control yourself." Brett's eyes locked onto Max. "Just guessing, punching that girl must of been something you really wanted." Max knew the truth he was trying to trigger something in Brett. Brett clenched his teeth trying to hold back.

Clarissa couldn't get the thought that Brett might be dead. It would of been all her fault if he was dead. If they would of just stayed friends, this would of never happened. But after Brett came back from the camping trip with his friends that weekend, that's when Clarissa spotted the change in him. He was more irritable and always getting into fights. He was harsh when it came to his words and he could seriously pack a punch. That was just his personality but he also changed looks wise. He got much more built, even though he was pretty built, he was huge when he came back. Was Brett taking steroids? Clarissa shook her head to that thought, pushing it to the back of her head. And if you took a really close look, Brett got a couple inches taller. What was going on with him, if he wasn't dead? Clarissa needed to keep looking, she couldn't sit here and mourn over if Brett was or wasn't dead. She needed to find out for herself. Clarissa put everything back where it was so it looked like no one was here. She then walked out of the cabin door and continued walking in the direction she was headed before.

Max grinned impressed he really thought that was going to push Brett. Pacing back and forth tapping his chin. " Clarissa was probably crushed seeing you as a heartless monster that punched her. Like you never even loved her at- Brett at amazing speed tackled Max punching him repeatedly instantly in wolf form after a few punches. Max jumped up away from Brett. " That exactly what you need to control." Brett made a low growl then transformed back. "Ya no kidding." Brett and Max decided to keep on moving. Max closed his eyes " We went a semi circle. We arnt to far from your cabin." Just as he said that Brett's nose filled with Clarissa's scent once again.
