Jahara laughed amusingly, "and you think that I could be trustworthy." A smirk crossed his lips when she walked over to the couch, he could clearly sense and see her reactions able to see past her shield. "Interesting idea, and what reasoning gave you the idea that I could be trustworthy at all."

 Ariana 'Ridgedog' Goates "The Multi-rose, for all of her hate for you, never spoke a word against trusting you. Other than that, I don't know. Isn't that part of the fun though?" She said, her grin broadening. "Besides, if you are a baddie, I'm sure I could put up enough of a fight to get away and warn the others. I doubt I'd need to. Right?" Ridge asked, quirking a brow in his direction.

Jahara's head tilted back as he laughed loudly, before moving from his spot as his right gloved hand touched Ridge's chin, his eyes then narrowed to cold slits "she trusts me alright, enough to know that I could betray anyone at any second." He released her chin and leaned back against the couch again. "she puts up with me because there's nothing she can do about, she cannot hide from me and she cannot escape me." Another grin crossed his lips, "perhaps you are right, if i was the enemy at this time you would be dead already." There was something more hidden in Jahara's words that he wasn't letting on. "For now you may consider me a 'temporary alliance' but you'd be wise to not underestimate that I am not an fulltime allie for this school."

Ariana 'Ridgedog' Goates Ridge's breath hitched slightly when he touched her face, and she silently scolded her sudden schoolgirl attitude around Jahara. When he released her, she felt herself relax. "I can live with a temporary alliance."

Jahara stood and walked over to the shelves a wine like bottle sat on the shelf with a cup next to it, but the liquid was blood red as he poured it into small glass then downed it in seconds. He removed his sword from his side and set it by the shelf before crossing his arms and leaning back against the wall, "what brings you little yellow rose to this academy?"

Ariana 'Ridgedog' Goates "Curiosity? Power? Take your pick. I'm sure any of them are just as true as another," she said with a shrug. In reality, her mage friend had told her he couldn't teach her more with the magic he had at his disposal. Secretly, she wondered if he was trying to get her away from the magic and technology war that was brewing. Like he knew she wasn't afraid to destroy everything if it meant they would stop. She ignored those thoughts for now, focusing instead on Jahara. "How about you? Why did you join?"

Jahara listened to her answer a cruel smile on his lips, then replied to her question with a dark glint in his eyes, "to gain what belongs to me. I've been following it for quite some time but it always is just beyond my grasp like a game of cat and mouse. For now though I will just bide me time until I can capture my prey and what belongs to me." As he said this his gloved hand closed in front of him as if grabbing something as he let out a cold laugh.

Ariana 'Ridgedog' Goates "Sounds annoying and lonely. What, exactly, are you looking for? Maybe I can help speed up the process," she said flatly, not even bothered by anything that happened. In fact, she seemed bored and annoyed by all the dramatics. She let herself fall back onto the couch with a huff. For all his danger, he was annoyingly cliché in his dramatics. How dull. Suddenly, she found herself less attracted, but decided to let it slide. At least she had an ally. OOC: I'm sorry, I actually liked it, but that's not how ridge is v.v

crystanis sorry for the long wait, i thought i had posted but it looks like i missed another post, ive taken up extra hours at work  *** Jahara ***
"Not at all," Jahara replied, "it's actually quite fun and enjoyable." A cruel smile crossed his lips as a cold cruel glint appeared in his eyes, he very much enjoyed annoying others. The joking part of him seemed to decease though as he too seemed to tire of it, noticing that it was not working to get rid of this one which amused him. Perhaps he could tolerate this one, "not a what, but a who, 1500 years ago i lost what should have been mine thanks to that goody-prince Jakar, His younger sister, who's now our dear Duelists Head Captain. She should have been mine but before i could claim her the home world was destroyed and everyone was reborn in another realm. 1000 years ago i almost succeeded in my attempt only to be thwarted by her dear warlord lover. But in the process a curse was brought upon us, should either of us die, the other will too, and no matter where either of us goes the other will always be able to find them. While the first is rather troublesome, the 2nd has been most helpful." Suddenly he smashed the glass in his hand as a look of anger crossed his face, "but every time my dear old friend disappears with her before i can claim my revenge," Blood trickled down his gloved hand from the glass cuts as he licked the blood away, "but this time I will succeed in my revenge."
He then approved Ridge and leaned in smirking as his gloved had touched her chin, "would you like to help me little one, it will be most entertaining when the time comes. You don't squirm at the sight of blood."

Ariana 'Ridgedog' Goates The story sparked Ridge's interest, turning over the information in her mind. She glanced over as she heard the glass break, kind of fascinated by the fact he licked the blood away. Paired with his words, it certainly was that same interest she had found earlier, the thought with excitement. Revenge certainly paired nicely with that. When she felt his hand on her chin, her brain turned sluggish and her breath caught slightly. She almost nodded, but suddenly, something clicked in her head. The way he talked about the Duelist Rose Head Captain, like she was property. Did he think that way about every woman? Instead, she plastered on a smirk. "Its more fun to watch and cause chaos, than to participate. Thanks, though," she replied, brushing his hand away and standing. "I guess we'll see each other around, black rose, and we can continue our alliance until this whole enemies of the academy thing is nipped in the bud."

Jahara watched her interestingly his smirk growing when she brushed his hand away,"yes, we certainly will be seeing each other again little yellow rose." He seemed to quite enjoy the little conversation, getting him to thinking more about. He stomped the new thoughts that were starting to enter his mind, for now his revenge was his main goal, but perhaps after that. He made a bowing motion before turning, "it has been a very pleasant time."

Ariana 'Ridgedog' Goates Ridge bowed with a flourish at his back, secretly beaming at the thought of seeing him again despite her reservations about getting romantically involved with someone who seemed to view things as toys, property. With that, she left his 'sanctuary' and decided it was high time she honed her skills as a rose.
