You have until then to post for this prompt! Quote: The bell rings starting the day, but unfortunately there are still a few hours until the party begins UGH! The teacher starts the day by returning the last of your papers and giving a speech about how learning can and should continue into the summer with a list of 'exciting' places she suggests you visit over the summer. Business out of the way however, even the teacher seems uninclined to try and teach the children that seem already ready to run for the door, so instead she dims the lights and pops in a movie to help pass the time. You've seen this movie before and it is Boring with a capital B! Maybe now is a good time for a quick little snooze to make sure you have plenty of energy for the party? B) Master of the pencil. You're feeling fidgety and thought you've already cleaned out you desk and backpack for the most part you do have a notebook still! Paying only slight attention to the movie you invest most of your energy either doodling or writing in your notepad. C)Mr./Ms. Sociable. Merrick groaned inwardly at the thought of having to wait for the party. Still, it wasn't often that the teacher let them watch movies in class. Drumming her finger softly against her notebook, she tried to pay attention, she really did! But the urge to doodle a bit overcame her.
Quietly opening her notebook, she grabbed a spare pencil and with one eye on the movie and the other on her work, she began to doodle out the way she thought the movie should be. Right down to and including the unicorns that the movie's producers had so clearly forgotten to include.
Around her, she could hear faint snores or the rustle of notes being passed. Resisting the temptation to join in (she'd gotten in trouble once for passing notes. It wasn't happening again!), she continued her rewrite of the movie.
Seriously, how could the producer and director have forgotten the unicorns? Unicorns made everything better.

Class started before too long had passed, and he glanced over at the table of goodies. They had a pretty good selection this year, but it wasn't time yet.
First, the teacher had to pass back their last few papers, which he promptly stuffed into his backpack, and then she talked about how important it was to keep up with the learning. Blah, blah, blah. Summer was for fun.
He glanced up at the clock. Nope. It still wasn't party time, and he grinned when she turned down the lights. Movie time! It was a movie that he had seen before, and he pulled out his notebook, setting it on the desk in between himself and Bryn. Surely the teacher wouldn't mind them writing notes to each as long as they kept quiet.
C)Mr./Ms. Sociable. You didn't get a chance to talk to your friends in the hallways and you're chomping at the bit! Surely the teacher won't mind if you pass a few notes, especially if you do it quietly and subtlely. It's just a movie after all!

Sapphire looked up from her doodling, to see what the teacher was doing. After she'd finished talking and handing out papers she'd popped in a movie. There was a pause where Sapphire watched for a few moments before deciding this was too educational of a movie. Why couldn't it have been something like Fantasia or Wreak it Ralph?
There was a frown and she went back to doodling, half listening to the movie playing. If there was something that interested her she'd look up. Granted she'd gotten in trouble for doodling before but it was a lot less distracting to others than the notes she could hear being passed around. She also ignored anyone asking her to hand a note to someone else. They'd just have to throw it over her, if they wanted it to go that way.

It felt like there was ages to go until the party began and although Rowan tried to pay attention to teacher when she started droning on about learning and how it didn’t stop for the holidays all she really wanted was the end of the school bell to ring so the party could begin.
Rowan had perked up a little, when teacher had told them that they were going to watch a movie picturing something cool like say Brave or even the Incredibles, but what they’d gotten was some sort of thing with puppets which was boring, boring, boooring and what was worse was that Amanda and Katie were in the back row and therefore too far to slip notes to without being caught.
So Rowan doodled in her notebook as the boring movie continued on – if asked maybe she could say that she was taking notes – she looked down at a page where she had started doodling random shapes. Or maybe not.

Taylor sighed at the announcement that the party wouldn't start soon, already anxious for the excitement to start. She glanced over at Kyle, who gave her a sympathetic smile and then returned her attention to the teacher who started the movie with a sigh.
Fidgeting, Taylor pulled out a notebook she had and one of her mechanical pencils, flipping open to a page and resuming a sketch she had been working on for awhile now. She could hear notes being passed around, knowing her friends probably were doing that themselves, but she didn't want to partake in it at the moment. It was a good time to sketch and she focused on it, occasionally glancing up at the movie if a scene appeared to catch her interest.

Jenny had just enough time to get the teacher the plates before the bell rang. Awe Man! She didn't get a chance to talk to her friends but that was ok since she could talk with them during the party. She zoned out during the lecture and paperwork and was quite literally watching the clock when the teacher announced they were going to watch a movie. Cool a movie! What kind?
Aladdin. Uggh. Jenny had seen that movie like a thousand times but even a quick look around the room proved that most of the other kids still liked it enough to watch it... all except the boy in the corner who was napping not that Jenny cared, if she wasn't too wound up she might be napping too but now that she was awake she was too anxious to get to the party part. Bahhh... with true boredom she started to doodle in her book, making swirls and curls and all kinds of random shapes.

Rosie managed to pay an attention to the teacher's speech rather well actually, at least compared to many other kids. She would definately go to visit the botanical garden in some point of her summer break. Maybe to the museum as well!
The movie they watched was okay, maybe a little boring but she could watch it, she thought. She tried to focus on the plot and those monotone voices but in the same time, she had troubles to keep her eyes open. Maybe she should had slept a little longer today? Maybe the stress that came from trying to do her best at school and get as good grades as possible had worn her out little by little. Whatever the reason was, Rosie's eyelids were feeling heavy and couple times she found herself snoozing. At some point while the movie was about halfway, she leaned forward and crossed her arms in front of her, making kind of pillow of them..... Maybe just a little sleep wouldn't be so bad.
A) Boring... Time for a power nap. You've seen this movie before and it is Boring with a capital B! Maybe now is a good time for a quick little snooze to make sure you have plenty of energy for the party?

Ugh, that movie felt like it had lasted foreverrrr! At least they were a little closer to the party now. Feeling her bladder twinge slightly, Merrick grimaced and eyed the clock. If she hurried, she could use the bathroom and be back well within the few minutes allotted.
Moving quickly, she headed for the girl's bathroom and ducked inside.
A) Bathroom break! Better use the bathroom before the party, you wouldn't want to miss out on the fun by needing a potty break halfway through.

Finally the movie was over and they were free to go and after gathering her books Rowan made her way out with the other students making their way towards the classroom door.
There was a bit of time before the bell rang and Rowan took the opportunity to finally catch up with Amanda and Katie.

Taylor smiled as the movie ended, taking a final glance at her drawing before she tucked her pencil behind her ear and got up, meeting with Kyle as they went out the door into the hallway. She hadn't gotten the chance to talk to her friends before, but now she had a bit of a time!
"Hey Taylor, what do you have there?" Kyle asked when her group of friends finally gathered near the door, all chatting eagerly. "Just a drawing I did." She answered back, tucking some hair behind her ear as she handed if off to her friend who looked over it appreciatively, complimenting it before they began to talk about a girl who had suddenly cried during the movie over a sad part. While Taylor didn't care to contribute to the topic, she did listen in quietly.

When the bell rang for the passing period Jenny almost jumped for joy. For the next few moments her time was her own... she could dance on the tables if she wanted but she would rather spend the few moments talking with her friends. She always met them in the hall between their classes. She waved to her friend when she saw a poor kid scatter his papers all over the floor. With a sigh and a roll of the eyes she bent down and started to help them pick up all their papers. Talking with her friends would have to wait until later.
B) To the rescue! Moving through the halls you notice another student has dropped their backpack and all their papers all over the floor. You decide to be a nice guy/girl and stoop to help them clean up the mess.

Sapphire stretched as she walked out of the classroom for her break. The party was so close she could taste it and those sweets! Ugh she just wished it was over already that movie was nearly torture. She did find a few interesting moments but for the most part she doodled and hoped not to fall asleep. Now however, was time for a potty break!
She hummed as she moved through the hallway, this would be a lot better than having to take a break during class and she could probably eat more sweets this way too! Sapphire was so excited she could hardly wait!

The rest of the class had already ran in the hallway while Rosie was slowly making her way there. A yawn escaped from her mouth as she slowly walked towards bathrooms. It was not that she really needed to go but it was better to be safe than sorry, right?
She turned around the corner, her hands rubbing her eyes, not really paying attention. She didn't notice Susan from 3rd grade who was coming from her classroom. To both of their surprise, their bodies connected and both girls felt a hard floor thumping againgst their butts. Oh, how it hurted! Rosie felt tears rising into her eyes, heard Susan crying and oh the poor thing had her papers spread all over the floor.
"I'm so sorry!" Rosie cried. Despite her own pain, it was heart-breaking to see the younger girl crying like she did. "It was an accident, okay?" Maybe she would calm down if she would make it up to her. Rosie crouched and quickly gathered all papers from the floor and handed them to Susan.
"Are you feeling better now?" she asked softly.
Still choking tears Susan nodded. "Yeah. Thanks."
