 Jem shrugs her shoulders. She pulled out a pen and paper. She begins to write down something. She hands the piece of paper to the teacher. "Why...father...hates...read...,"Jem says.
The paper said this:
Atticus use to be a human. He fell in love with an angel named Grace and they got married. The two had a child. There were other angels that were in love with Grace. Out of jealousy, the angels killed Grace and their child. For doing this, the jealous angels became demons.
Heartbroken, Atticus sought out to kill the men that killed his wife and child. He's thirst for revenge was so desperate, he met an evil wizard and the wizard turned him into a ghoul.
When father adopted Jackson and I, he told me that I reminded him a lot of his wife and child. He swore that he would always protect us. Father made me and my brother the children he was never able to have.ʝust give what I could give...

He didn't want to intrude on anyone's conversations, just find a place where he could be alone for a little while. As he was leaving to exit the room, he accidentally tripped and fell, his armor making a loud ruckus. By the time Raphael was standing he could do nothing but just feel awkward. Whether or not they were looking at him, Raphael would apologize. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to interrupt what was going on here, I just needed a place to be alone! So...sorry."

Jem looks at the man that had just entered the room. It was like everyone wanted to see her today. Shyly, Jem wraps her kagune around herself and put her hands over her face so the stranger couldn't see her eyes. While she quickly wrapped her tails around herself, the contents in her bag fell out. The viles of blood rolled across the stage and the bag of dirt spilled out. Tears started to form in her eyes but she wouldn't allow herself to cry or to be embarrassed more that she already was. ʝust give what I could give...

Trying to be polite, he began picking up the vials of blood himself, making a mental note not to pay too much attention to the blood. It could have easily been animal's blood, used for all kinds of strange rituals. "Here you go, sorry I scared you. My name is Raphael." He smiled at her, handing the vials with red substance he had gathered all around the stage to her.

Jem lifts her head. She doesn't take her hands away from her face and she kept her kagune wrapped around her. "My name...Jem...,"She said shly. Jem knew he was handing her the vials of blood back to her but she didn't want to remove her hands from her face. One of her kagunes picked up her bag and put it down beside Raphael.ʝust give what I could give...

Ravaria smiled at the young girl and nodded her head, "your welcome." When Jem handed them the paper she took it and then looked at Raven with knowing eyes then back at Jem with soft eyes, "well here you have nothing to fear, everyone here is welcomed and treated with respect. I'm sure you will enjoy it here, if you ever need any help just come and find me." She looked up when the newcomer entered with a bit of ruckus when he tripped, she smiled shaking her head it reminded of her someone she knew. "I hope you're alright." When Jem and the newcomer started talking Ravaria shoved Raven directly out the door, "you dear have a job to take care of." She smiled sweetly at the two before walking off to a sleeping student in the back that had fallen asleep, "again with the sleeping Lao?" She knocked him across the head to wake him.

Lao awoke with a start growling when he saw who it was, "I was resting peacefully to some beautiful music, just what is your probelm." Lao rubbed the back of his head with a sigh, "you're not my caretaker Ravaria, don't have some other students to go play mother-hen on."

Jem wraps her kagune around her even tighter. She has never had these many people talk to her. "You're a wimp, Jem!"The voices said, chuckling,"Don't trust these people! Jem's kagune grabs the bag and places it back down beside her. She down't remove her hands. "I'm...fine...how...you?" She asked shyly."Jem you are so weak! Just eat this boy already!" He was glad that he wasn't the only one that got his words a little mixed up whenever he got too nervous. Now that Jem was showing this side of her he felt a bit relieved in just being himself, she put his worries at ease, but then again there wasn't that many worries to begin with. "I'm doing good! Classes are fun and I'm making some friends here and there. Do you like your classes?" Raphael didn't stop smiling, but once he realized that he might be a bit too forward, he decided to dial it down. "You don't have to speak much, or at all if you don't want to. Being shy can't be easy for you."

I'm sure we can communicate in other ways, hahaha!" The angel smiled and scratched the back of his head. He didn't seem all that embarrassed or shy anymore, but full of life and laughter. And then, Jem started to sing, beautifully in fact. Raphael was actually paralyzed with astonishment for a few seconds. It was quite moving and her voice sounded so familiar. When she was done he slowly began clapping, his armored hands making metallic clunking noises. "Nice! You know I didn't think I would get such a nice song from someone I just met, great job. I'm not really good at singing myself..."

Jem smiled. She has never sang in front of anyone, un-accidentally, before. It felt nice to. Her father always told her that people would love her voice and that they would fall to their knees and weep. Atticus was the one that taught her to sing. He tried to teach her how to talk but could only get so far.
One of Jem's kagne tails lifted itself from around her and tapped Raphael's armor. Her kagune may look soft but it is actually the quite opposite of that. They are very sharp and can cut through almost anything.
Jem didn't get a good look at the boy before she covered her eyes out of shyness but she could tell he was angel. "Angel," She said, curiously.
Jem has never met an angel but from what she was told about angels from her father, she wasn't quite sure. She has been told that they are kindhearted and sinless, but from what her father told her, their kindness can be evil and their jealousy is makes them evil. ʝust give what I could give...

Well whatever it was, Raphael was glad that she knew. Looking curiously at her kagune for a moment he tilted his head. "I can't say I have seen or heard of one of those before." Raphael kept his eyes to the ground as he wasn't usually introducing himself as an angel. "Well, I feel bad. You know what I am, but I don't know what you are."
