"I won't be long," He replied as he pulled out a cigarette because he too enjoyed to smoke. Since Izaya kept his distance the smoke would not bother him. Lighting it up he took a puff before looking back at the elf. "I simply came here to apologize to you on behalf of my brother. Though I know you'd much rather have him give you an apology but I'm here giving you a sincere sorry. Whether or not you know it my brother isn't well...rather mentally ill. I usually keep him in check but I had to leave for a month to check on my parents due to the fact that my father had fallen ill. I took a risk leaving him here with my sister who quite honestly doesn't care too much about him but I was hoping she'd at least keep him from doing something to this extent. Clearly I was wrong to leave him in her care. I suppose you can I say that I'm the only kind hearted one in the family and one with the most common sense. Nevertheless I hope you can at some point forgive what has been done. I assure you that you'll never see my brother roaming around these parts. And if you do see him...it's most likely me. A bit hard to tell us a part but he's the one with the blue eyes and I'm the one with the green eyes. That's the only difference between the both of us." He then tipped his non existent hat before turning to head back down and leave the elven man alone.

Izaya listened to the man speak, taking a moment to register his tone of voice which was actually quite different from his brothers. "No. I won't mistake you for your brother. You two are too different" He stated quite confidently. Izaya tilted his head back to stare up at the sky...it was hot out today, far too hot in his opinion. He liked rainy days, with that slight chill to the air. "I need to get out of this city" He breathed, though he knew the chances of that were slim. Elven people had a hard time getting around without a human benefactor, and he wasn't about to go looking. "hah. The heats definitely getting to me. I think i'll go lay down" He practically whispered and simply moved to follow the man down the stairs, though he said absolutely nothing during the descent. "Ah... if there's anything you need while in this area feel free to ask for me. My names Izaya...everyone knows me so they should be able to point you in the right direction" He stated as he reached the bottom of the stairs and wandered over to the small cot in the corner, simply flopping down on the old thing. If one really took a good look around, they would notice that he lived even worse off than those in the living area....but he never complained. This was the life he was used to and it had hardened him in a way. Whether that was good or bad, is the question.

"I will keep that in mind," Max replied as he continued his decent. "I'll be coming by from time to time, and my name is Maxwell by the way." He kept the cigarette between his fingers and looked to see Izaya's living conditions. He walked out and continued to watch over the construction while helping out from time to time by directing the men what to do.
The sun was going down and the men were heading off, the building fixed rather quickly and it looked rather brand new. Max smiled and wished them a good evening before heading off but he did not go to his car, instead he went back to the building where Izaya was. Walking back in he knocked on the door frame again to see if he was awake or around and waited.

After Maxwell had left Izaya literally slept a good portion of the day away, the heat really had gotten to him...and the stress, and well....everything. When he awoke it was to the sound of someone knocking on his door. With a wide yawn he sat up "Im Com'n" He called out, still kinda half asleep. He took a moment to run his fingers through his hair and rub sleep from his eyes before he wandered to the door and pulled it open with a bit of difficulty...he really needed to oil the hinges at some point. He let his own crimson orbs make contact with Maxwell's green ones for a moment, before it registered to him that he should probably speak. "Something I can do for you?" He muttered, not really sure what he would be back here for after all. He wasn't used to people actually coming here to visit, most just waited for him to visit the residences. Izaya was used to his solitude, which made having company a bit...awkward. "Uh...come in?" He added as he stepped back out of the door. Basically it was up to Max whether or not he wanted to show himself in, Izaya just didn't know what to do at this point.

"No need," Max replied as he stood there and looked at Izaya for a moment. "I was just wondering if you wanted to ******** with my brother. I'd figure he deserves to be punished a bit. But my idea is rather out there so I'm not sure if you'd be up for it. Anyway I won't beat around the bush my thought was having him wake up and coming down to the kitchen to see you and I sitting there. The expression on his face would be pretty amusing...more so when I tell him that you're "living" with us now." He laughed as he pictured Jimmy's face already though he knew it was a stretch.

Izaya fell silent as he listened to the males proposal.... So he wanted to mess with his brother a bit and have Izaya stay there?.... Honestly, it sounded like fun, but it also seemed like it would end up being a bit of a s**t show.... Izaya stayed silent as he mulled over the idea. It still seemed like it would be funny and what did he have to lose? A few days of living with...well, perhaps it was a bad idea. The family didn't exactly seem to be well put together, except for Maxwell, but then again Izaya had no way of knowing if this man was completely sane or not... But still....he liked the idea, he really did and finally he lifted his shoulders in a slight shrug "sure, why not. I'd get a kick out of it. Plus if there's a way to torment the bugger a bit, then why not?" he stated in a rather nonchalant tone, finally managing to wake up fully. "Might I ask, when?" He added, leaning on the old metal door which wouldn't budge another inch... It would be good for him to get away anyways....

"Now," Max replied with a big grin as he reached out and pulled Izaya along and he lead him out of the old abandoned warehouse and toward his car that was still parked in front of the now newly built building. It looked good as new, it stood out compared to the other buildings that were worn down and falling a part. Pulling out his keys he unlocked the car and opened the door for Izaya as if doing so for a woman though of course Izaya was no woman.
He shut the door and headed toward the driver seat, chuckling to himself and got in. Glancing over at the elven he smiled and added, "This'll be fun." Max then drove off toward the small mansion that Izaya had been in last night.
After parking he lead him inside and quietly walked up the stairs and lead him to one of the guest bedrooms. "You can sleep here for the rest of the night if you wish." He then went on to tell him how to get the kitchen and that he would meet him there in the morning tomorrow.

Izaya slipped away quickly to run inside and grab his violin before returning to the man and allowing him to lead him to the car. He had to keep himself from protesting when the male opened the door for him and simply slipped inside. "I suppose so" He replied evenly 'I hope so' he added silently to himself, knowing that he was getting himself into... well a predicament that most people would avoid. Apparently he wasn't really one to avoid trouble though, which.....didn't make sense because he didn't even like conflict! Once they pulled up the the mansion he had to force himself to relax, remembering how pissed off he had been the last time he was here. Izaya followed along behind Max silently, his footsteps almost completely silent and he wasn't even trying! Crimson eyes scanned the room that he was lead to, it looked...comfortable, which he wasn't used to at all. "Alright...thank you. I'll uh, see you in the morning" He muttered with a slight nod, walking into the room and placing his violin case down on the table next to the bed. "Goodnight" He added quickly as he looked over his shoulder at the other male, before he sat down on the edge of the bed, nearly falling over since it was far softer than he was used to.

Maxwell nodded and shut the door once he stepped out into the hallway. He stood there for a moment and stifled a laugh. The morning would prove to be entertaining indeed. Turning away he made his way to his bedroom and settled in for the night. He had not rested ever since arriving at the airport so naturally he was exhausted. Max had a good six hours of sleep when morning arrived. He woke up and showered before heading downstairs where he would begin to cook breakfast for himself, his guest and Jimmy. Max wasn't the type of person to have people do his laundry or cook for him etc. Jimmy on the other hand liked being fed with a silver..in this case golden spoon. Currently Jimmy was still passed out asleep, unaware of the little prank his brother had in store for him.

Izaya took his time getting ready to sleep, and passed out fairly quickly. The next morning he found he was a bit stiff thanks to the softness of the bed and the fact that he simply wasn't used to it. With a soft yawn he headed to the bathroom and had a nice hot shower since he may as well take the opportunity to do so. Once he'd showered and gotten dressed again he walked out of his room and made his way down into the kitchen. His gaze fell upon Max who was currently making breakfast "Anything I can do to help?" He voiced, not realizing that it probably would have been smarter if he had made his presence known before speaking.... He had a habit of walking up to people quietly and startling them in the process. His snowy white hair fell over his crimson eyes in a messy manner, seeing as his current haircut was...self done. It wasn't like he could just hire someone to do it. "Umm, what should I do for clothes? I didn't exactly have time to pack" he muttered, letting his gaze wander the kitchen all the while.

Maxwell was far too use to people coming in quietly and so it was hard to startle him. Looking up when Izaya spoke he shook his head, "No need you can just have a seat, breakfast should be done soon." He then went back to focusing on not burning the bacon then again he never burnt food. The males next question made him think for a moment then a smile grew on his face, "Well you could always barrow some of Jim's clothes." He laughed knowing that his brother would throw some sort of b***h fit of sorts. It'd be funny.

Izaya took a seat as he was instructed, lifting a hand to push his feathery white locks back off his face "No, I highly doubt his clothing would fit me. I'm...well I have a smaller build than the two of you" he stated with a shrug, leaning back in his seat as the smell of bacon reached him. He was used to being hungry so...well the smell simply made him realize how hungry he was and he frowned at the thought. The people in the community hadn't been undernourished, but that was because Izaya always made sure they were okay before he fed himself. They'd be okay there without him right? He hoped so...but now they had brand new homes, which was a huge relief to him. They weren't living in abandoned buildings anymore...they finally had nice homes of their own, which made him feel as if perhaps humans were coming to accept them a little but more. Crimson eyes narrowed in thought as he stared down at the table, apparently lost in his own little world. He wasn't sure how to interact with this family, already he had issues with this Jim fellow, their sister seemed like a dictator and Maxwell seemed to be the only sane one, but he also seemed...too nice. Naivety? perhaps so, but he wasn't sure. It was strange to let a stranger into your home in the first place, and perhaps Max didn't realize it but Izaya wasn't an innocent bystander. He had killed before, he had fought for survival and he didn't really believe there was any real good in people anymore. People were animals and thus they did whatever they had to to survive, which included taking other races out.

With the over baring silence Maxwell finally spoke, "So I take it you're wondering why I let you come to my house without knowing anything about you right? My sister happened to tell me who you were when I got here but anyway I doubt you'll try to kill me." He chuckled and finished the eggs, bacon and the toast. Setting down a bar of butter and a small jar of grape jelly just in case Izaya wanted either or. He then set a plate of the food in front of his guest and put another for Jimmy.
Just then Jimmy walked in wearing pj's and yawning, his hair messy. He yawned out a good morning and when his eyes were open again he spotted Izaya sitting there. He stopped in his tracks and stared at the two and and long last uttered, "What the ********! What is he doing here!" He rushed over to take away Izaya's plate but Max proved to be quicker than him and so he grabbed Jim's wrists and forced him to sit.
"Now now that's not the way to act toward a guest. I taught you better than that," Max said while patting his head and going about eating his food. From the corner of his eyes he watched Jimmy pout and mouth all his protests and his arms crossed over his chest showed that he'd probably go on some hunger strike until Izaya left but that wouldn't happen for a bit. This would be an amusing day.

Izaya brought his gaze up to meet Maxwells, he was a very trusting man...which in Izaya's mind was kind of stupid but he didn't say anything. He let his gaze drop as the plate was put before him, muttering a soft thank you. Before he lifted his gaze to inspect the male for a moment "No you're right... I have no reason to harm you what so ever..." he stated, before his gaze moved to the open door where Jimmy stood, meeting the others discontent gaze when he noticed Izaya. Izaya just watched the two brothers for a moment, before he turned to his food and simply started eating. Considering he had lived in a warehouse all his life, his table manners were quite good. Izaya simply ignored Jimmy and took his time eating, easily eating everything on his plate. He had tried the grape jelly but honestly hadn't liked it much so he left it alone. Once he finished Izaya stood with his plate and walked to the sink. Sure he was the guest but he didn't plan to stay here and twiddle his thumbs. After rinsing the plate and locating the dishwasher, he turned to look at the two siblings, unsure of what he was supposed to do now so he simply turned his gaze to Max "Any plans for the day?" He asked, breaking the silence, besides the occasional curse he heard from Jimmy.

"Yes now that you mentioned it I figured we should all go to the store and get you some clothes since you said you don't have any and there is no sense in letting you walk around here with dirty clothes or naked." Though in his thoughts he add, 'though i wouldn't mind' and then continued to say, "How about it?"
Jimmy stood and shook his head with his arms still crossed tightly over his chest. "No, i'm not going."
Max smiled and gripped his brothers shoulder rather tightly, "But of course you are, you need clothes too so might as well kill to birds with one stone. Now go change we're leaving in a couple minutes." Jimmy was about to protest but when he met Maxwell's eyes he became cowardly and nodded hesitantly before rushing off to change. Max's eyes had become b***h black, not just the iris but the whitness of his eyes as well but as he turned to look at Izaya his eyes were normal again and he smiled warmly at him.
