 Once she opened her eye after her throw, C.C. noticed a tomato being hurled straight for her. Wait, she should get hit, and then she could get out right away! No more tomato throwing. Plus, she could always cry about it to people later on. C.C. planned to step up in her attempt to get hit, but an unfortunate trip might have screwed up her plan. Pleasepleaseplease let her be hit and not dodge. 9/10

☆xOh - the game was starting already?! Finnian didn't even have time to tell his teammates the game plan! He would just have to test their ability to adapt under stress! He already was at the barrels of tomatoes, grabbing up his share so he could start right into the game before someone tried to attack him. He had afford a brief look at his teammate's to see what they were up to. Lunesca had already gotten right into the game like the perfect heroine she would be! Finnian already could see her name - Shining.. Shimmering.. Twinkling.. Blade..? Ah, he couldn't think of anything right now - he just had to throw his tomato at someone! It was right then that he saw her - his sworn enemy..! Catrina Murrow! He grit his teeth before charging closer and, with a loud sound effect of WHOOSH, threw the tomato with all his super heroic might..!x☆9/10

And with the start of the Tomato Festival, it was time for a good distraction. As tomatoes were being flung to and fro, he pulled off the sunglasses and threw them aside, and ripped off his tear-away suit, leaving only a matching black tie and speedo underneath. If that wasn't enough to distract his competitors, he wasn't sure what was. Now that he was done with that nonsense, Rose grabbed his share of tomatoes and spied a young woman with her eyes locked on one of his teammates. Oh, no she didn't. In retaliation for the sake of his team, Rose chucked a good sized tomato at Lunesca.9/10

Angela was relieved when she and her father ended up on different teams. Mostly because, well, that meant she had the chance to throw things at him without him whining (too much). so the first thing she did, the moment tomatoes were in hand, was target her dearest father and hurl the tomato at Eoin Tremaine with all the might her midgety arms could muster. If she got him out straight away...it would be pretty much the highlight of her week. + 2 for daddy issues7/10

Eoin Valmera soon found himself on a team with a very short woman (rather adorable in a rustic sort of way) and a lovely younger woman. He found this little festival quite amusing and was mostly enjoying simply watching others (and trying to find his daughter, who'd managed to run off without him, the little brat) when he finally decided to join in the festivities. He picked up a tomato and tossed it up in the air a few times, catching it easily, before picking up a rather underdressed young man a short distance away. With a pleasant smile and wave, Eoin hurled the tomato at Rose Bellerose full force. 9/10

 Quinn whistled underneath her breath, enjoying the nice eyefuls from both of her teammates. Not bad. Not bad at all. It was such a shame that she couldn't enjoy the view long because there were tomatoes being flung everywhere. Picking up some tomatoes, she made sure to aim for the easiest target, and that happened to be a tomato. At least, a Sani wearing a tomato outfit. Hey, she didn't show mercy to anyone. Plus, it would be a first for her to throw fruit at a kid, so of course, she wouldn't miss out on that. 9/10

But no sooner had the tomato left his hand when he saw one sailing straight at him. And just beyond that, he saw none other than his daughter waving at him and grinning. She--She threw a tomato at him? At him?! "Angela, why!?" Eoin cried, ducking for cover in the hopes of staying in the game a little longer. Even if she threw a tomato at him, he...he would not retaliate though. He was a much better man than that! Probably... 9/10

He was eliminated. By his own daughter. The traitor. This meant...this meant that he was going to spend the rest of the event doing his damnedest to humiliate her! It was not much of a revenge, but it was his and he was going to enjoy it! Picking himself up and bearing the tomato stain like the emblem of shame it was, Eoin made his way to the sidelines. "ANGELICA! YOU CAN DO IT! DONT LET THOSE SPINDLY LITTLE NOODLE ARMS GET YOU DOWN!" he yelled, voice booming over the field. "DADDY IS CHEERING FOR YOU!!!" 9/10

As soon as the tomato was out of his hand, Rose quickly scanned the area around him, making sure no tomatoes were flying in his direction. There was no way he was going to be one of the first ones out. And that's when he locked eyes with a rather handsome older man smiling at him. For a moment, he forgot what was going on and winked at him. Then he noticed the tomato in his hand. Oh s**t, oh s**t, ohshit! He instantly dropped to the ground and covered the back of his head with his hands, because that would totally help him dodge a tomato.

Alex didn't like this at all. One moment, he was grumpily indulging his bad mood, so wrapped up in his disdain for the world that he hadn't really paid attention to Xeiro talking to him, or Yoakim coming up and joining his team... The next, tomatoes were flying through the air, and... had Yoakim gotten hit? s**t, so fast? Not that he cared about Yoakim, the guy had never been more than a vague acquaintance from long ago, but if he was out already... It had only been a moment! Now Alex was beginning to wish that he had gone to see one of these things, maybe he wouldn't be so unprepared! As startled as he was, it would do him no good to just stand there, oversized target that he was. So he took a tomato and threw it at Todd.13/10

This... was... awesome. The moment the T-fest began, River's heart began to pump wildly, she could feel the adrenaline set in, that primal bloodlust a soldier got before battle... She wasn't a soldier, but she could still feel things, couldn't she? Already, a couple of people were out, and that only made her more excited. Her first target... Who should her first target be? She spotted Zelynity not far away, remembering her from past events, past Tomato Festivals. Yes, her! She was a good first sparring partner! She looked strong, and the last thing River wanted was some weakling who couldn't dodge or throw back!9/10

Jeremy had been doing this for years, since he could hold and throw a tomato on his own (because Goddess knew River was too wrapped up in her own thing to help him) and yet, he still found the start of the competition too nervewracking for comfort. He still remembered the year he had been knocked out in the first round. That... was an uncomfortable night. And he didn't want to repeat that ever again! But it was a lot of pressure, and not the fun kind. So after standing somewhat anxiously, he took his first tomato and looked around for someone easy to throw at... Someone who looked like they wouldn't try to get revenge, or if they did, would be weak enough that he could dodge. He felt bad, selecting weak and vulnerable targets, but just for this round! So he threw his tomato at Cox. Should he have been ashamed for targeting a disabled woman? Most definitely, 200000%.

Oh hey! The fight had started! And Garland had ended up on a team with some redhaired guy and a cute whitehaired girl! He had had luck with whitehaired girls in the past, so this was very promising! She even made him seem tall, which was not usually a trait he got to assign to himself! Well, he'd have to show off, wouldn't he? Show her how totally rad the Garland-train could be? Who should he throw at...? He eventually picked Marcellin, lookin' all cool and s**t... He was hurting his chances! But if he could eliminate a cool-lookin' guy like that... Yeah, that'd be good. That'd be real good. And so he took his tomato and threw it at the blonde, trying to look as suave as he could~9/10

Huh, wha--? Someone had thrown a tomato at him? Already? Why so soon, was that allowed? He opened his mouth to protest, but figured that he would have a better chance of staying in this competition and winning over hot white-haired chick's affections if he, ya know, dodged first.
He took a dramatic leap as he went to dodge, soaring through the air just as something wet and red blurred his vision. He opened his mouth to let out a muffled "wuh" but his mouth filled with gross tomato juice. The tomato had hit him right in the face, his beautiful face, and as he smacked down hard against the pavement, he wondered what his chances were that Angela hadn't seen that.

Ah! It had started! Immediately, Ayaka spread her legs apart and bent her knees, like they did in volleyball. She hadn't played volleyball in a while, but the ladies of the national volleyball team were some of her favorite athletes (though she liked the ladies of Nadeshiko Japan better) so it wouldn't hurt to emulate them! This seemed a lot more violent than dodgeball, with all the red splattered everywhere and people hitting the ground, but she had promised Baba and CC that she would do her best, so she would! She picked a person at random, Zhi, and threw a tomato at her. ...Wait, that woman looked Chinese...
