Angelic Celestia I never liked Telecasters, meself ... Yeah, it's funny, I never really liked the body shape either, but it just kinda grew on me so I bought one xd

Yeah, it's funny, I never really liked the body shape either, but it just kinda grew on me so I bought one xd i adore telecasters. i'd change the headstock though... Yes, I agree, it's too thin. Of course, some of the 70's model Telecasters have the 60's style large Strat headstock.

Of course, some of the 70's model Telecasters have the 60's style large Strat headstock. they rock. the headstock on the telecasters now just don't look right... i think fender need to do a big remake on all of their headstocks. they're all pretty crappy nowadays.

I don't mind the headstock really... i want to put a 60's style left-handed neck on it though. Hard to find little piece sad . I like the weight of it. Makes me feel like ive actually got something in me hands, not just a little dinky plastic-feeling thing. Thats why i dont like finishes you can't see the grain through. Especially on light guitars. Feels and looks like plastic.

i played a tele, and to be honest, the headstock doesn't matter when you're playing it.

bambulus i played a tele, and to be honest, the headstock doesn't matter when you're playing it. I'm beginning to think that if the headstock was any bigger, it would throw the guitar off balance. The Tele body weighs more than the Strat.
