"I'll let you know, I promise," Cait said, giving Lance a very weak, almost frightened smile. "I'm sure I can handle Jay." She swallowed, giving the lie to her fear. Jay was scary when she was mad.

"Sweetheart, I don't like handling Jay when she's mad. You know what trouble you'd be getting into..." He glanced at the windows again.. "Would you like me to close the blinds??"

Cait whimpered faintly. "I'm injured, she can't be super mean to me," she said, but she knew that wouldn't stop an angry Jaysen. "Ah...if you would? I might take a nap after you leave; there's not a lot else to do."

"Darling, you know as well as I do." He said as he walked over and closed the blinds. "She doesn't get 'super mean'." The blonde chuckled. His sister didn't scream, and rant and rave. "I'll try and come with her, maybe we can divert that.... loving attention." Lance chuckled as he walked back towards the door. "I'll see ya later."

Cait let out a heavy relieved sigh. "You will be my saving angel if you do that Lance my darling," she said, her voice full of affection. "See you later!" She waved, and then sank back intot he pillows, closing her eyes.
A nap actually did sound kind of nice.
