Playing for fun - BriellaFinally, and with that they went to the center of the forest and soon enough there it was. Clearly the girl was smarted, but then she was a woman so it only made sense that she was the smarter of the two. While everyone pondered how to get in Briella spotted a tiny spot where a person could fit. "How bout we send someone in there?" she said while pointing towards the whole. She would have volunteered, but then that would leave Kadriye out here with no protection.
C: There's a person-sized hole in the corner of the wall that seems interesting...

Yaholo chooses B
"I think we should swing around the back," Yaholo said, tapping his chin. "The hole could have traps and the front gates are usually booby trapped."

Natsu chooses A
"The girl was probably right," Natsu sighed, rubbing the back of his head. "Let's head to the center of the forest and see if they're there."

The walk to the heart of the forest was not easy or quick but it did not strain Kadriye nearly as much as she had feared it might. That and the fact that although the trees were different she felt at home there, forest was not jungle but it was better than wide open plains where you were so vulnerable. At Briella's suggested she peered at the hole in question. " Yes that seems like a good idea, someone with magic or perhaps one of the sprites." They were small and fast, if there were traps ahead surely they could avoid or disarm them with the most ease.
Qi peered curiously at the the section of missing wall but made no move to fly towards it. The sprite clearly had no intention of venturing blindly into danger without reason.
"I don't recognize any of the writing," Kadriye admitted softly to Briella as she dig into the small travel bag she had brought along and pulled out some paper and charcoal. Eshe might know what the visible scriptures meant and even if she did not it was important for Kadriye to document what she could before the group moved on again.

Having chosen B earlier, Shirin now chooses C: There's an interesting looking crack at the base of the temple...
Normally pleased to follow the cautious option, Shirin couldn't help but regret the choice after the group found the temple where the leaf girl had predicted. Even so, she took wry comfort in the fact that the two days of sweeping the forest seemed to have tired out the two leaf earthlings enough to fend off another argument about where to go.
The wind earthling was heading toward the back when an crack at the base of the temple caught her eye. Was it big enough to squeeze through? Or, less optimistically, was it a sign of the temple's dilapidation? She shuddered at the thought. She had seen the aftermath of rockslides before during her tribe's nomadic journeys throughout Sauti; she had no desire to be caught in a crumbling temple.
But she hadn't come all this way just to get sore feet and turn back because of a crack in the wall, of all things. And a little investigation never hurt anyone, right? Stubbornly ignoring all the pessimistic answers to that rhetorical question, she approached the break at the temple's base.

C. There's a person-sized hole in the corner of the wall that seems interesting...
Niabi wasn't very well traveled but she knew when she smelled something fishy. The front door just seemed a little too obvious.
Her other sisters had spoken up about the hole in the wall that seemed to fit someone, or at least a sprite and she supported them. She had never met these sisters, but if they wanted to take that way, even though she couldn't help much in a fight, she would be there to back them up.
She spoke up with a soft voice, "I-I agree..."

B - Let's Check Out the Back
Tau ducked a little, not having seen the kinfa coming, but caught the little guy in his hands when he finally realized what it was. That Alkidike girl was here. Cool, at least he knew somebody. "Hey Vollerei." He called out to her.
Vol decided to split up from the others, kinda figured she's be too impatient to just let them bicker.
They had decided to walk to the center, and when they finally reached the temple he saw straight away something stupid. Tau knew of too many stories gone wrong to trust the front door. It was almost always a bad idea and probably booby trapped. He sighed to the others, hopefully they thought the same way.
All this traveling was tiring him out, but at least the other two weren't fighting anymore.

Round 4
Round 4 Ends: 05.26.13, 10pm EST (I'll be busy tomorrow morning, so this next round will be 36 hours)
If you chose to go in the front...
No one chose to go through the front! Good for you. It was trapped anyways...
If you chose to check out the back...
The boy spoke up this time, "Let's go check out the back, there might be more entrances that way." He leads them to the back of the temple and into a moss and vine covered entrance in the back.
You look around and there is light trickling in from holes and cracks in the ceiling and all around you is a big fat... nothing. There's no treasure, there's not even any angry animals. But there is a staircase leading downward into the ground.
Do you follow?
A: Definitely follow. B: Let's go back, it's dark down there...
If you chose the hole in the wall...
"I think it's big enough for a person to go through. Let's check it out." The girl calls out to the others. She peeks into the crack at the corner of the two exterior walls and slips in without a problem. "Hey guys! Come look!"
The crack in the wall leads to the interior of the front of the temple, and while there's no treasure in sight, it is beautiful. It's full of sculpted stone and inscriptions and the filtering light through the cracks gave everything a serene warm look. From the front you can see not only a staircase leading down, but a lever at the front of the main statue.
The girl runs over and points to it, should you follow?
A: Pull the lever! B: No way. I'm gonna go check out those stairs. C: Mmmmm let's go back...
If you chose the crack in the temple...
You call out to the others about this large crack in the floor of the temple. You run over to see what it's all about and when you peek in, you see something glowing. How strange.
Do you check it out... or go in a different way?
A: Check it out! B: Go back and try a different way.
If you chose to catch up...
Whew! You caught up to them just in time! They were just about to go into the temple and you were able to catch where they were going!
Where are they going?
(You get to pick which way you followed them in and answer to either the back, the hole in the wall, or the crack in the temple...)

Having chosen the crack in the temple, Shirin chooses to A: check it out!
After alerting the others in the group to the state of the temple floor, Shirin peeked into the crack. Her brows rose as she studied the mysterious glow, utterly mystified. Curiouser and curiouser. "What could be glowing down there?" she wondered aloud, stooping to try to get a better look.

Playing to win! - Zuri Soon Zuri and her little group was caught up with the others. Looking around she saw that once again there were many choices. What to do, what to do. The crack in the wall did seem promising. And was something glowing? "Come on." she said moving towards the crack. What could that glowing thing be? She had to find out.
A: Check it out.

Playing for fun - BriellaShe didn't recognize it? Briella looked around. What kind of writing was this that Kadriye didn't even recognize it? She watched as Kadriye pulled out paper to write on. Oh how smart was she! Briella would have never thought of that. But that must be why Aisha chose them to play the roles that they did.
She waited with Kadriye as she wrote everything down. "If Eshe knows let me know, I'm curious to know what these markings mean." she wasn't so curious, it was more she would like to meet up again, but part of her was curious. She had never seen them before, plus neither had Kadriye? They had to be special. "Come on, someone is going to pull that lever. Let's not fall too far behind." or they could, Briella wouldn't mind but she was sure Kadriye would. Plus, they were there for treasure!
A: pull the lever

(I'm putting both 3 and 4 in here, thanks for letting me still play, Kaname. Both are here for fun.)
Volle (chose C in round 2) chooses A for round 3 and then A: Definitely follow for round 4 Waving at Tau, she grabbed Zweil and left on her own into the trees to go search by herself. And to go hunt, her stomach was hungry again.
Vollerei was disgusted. Her lost in a forest! How could she have gotten lost? She sighed, oh well, time to head back along her trail to where she split with the group and follow their trail... She managed to find some food along and the way and munched as she followed the broken and treed upon plants along the main group's passage.
She saw the group split and half go around the temple and half go through a hole in the wall.. Vollerei looked at that hole, it was gonna be a tight fit for her... So she shrugged ate some more berries and gave the chirping Zweil the rest of a small animal and headed around back only to be confronted with nothing but a stairway.... well, since there were stairs, something must be down there! SO she headed downwards.
Senja (Chose A in round 2) chooses C in round 3 and in A: Pull the lever! round 4
At least the boy hadn't made a fuss about letting the girl go! If he did that, it opened a whole can of worms! Why Senja could remember when she and her little sister had been arguing what to do and Chauter always insisted on her way as if she was somehow more special and right... Bad feelings all around....
Shaking her head she looked around as they got to their destination. Ruins! Oh this was going to be so much fun! As she looked at it she spotted a hole that she could fit though... well, if it was large enough for her to go through then obviously she was meant to go through! Senja giggled and squirmed through the hole in the wall and saw stairs and a lever. What was a lever doing here? Senja skipped over to it, regarded it for a few seconds then laughed and pulled the lever! What happens happens and she just couldn't resist pulling it!

B. No way. I'm gonna go check out those stairs.
Niabi shuddered at the thought of what that lever might do. What if it led right into a trap? It looked really suspicious being placed right in the center of the place and she just couldn't bring herself to take that risk.
"I-I think... maybe we should check out the stairs?" She squeaked from the back of the group. This just screamed bad idea. She didn't know if anyone was going to follow her, or even heard her, but she gently pulled herself away from the others and made her way to the stairs in the back.

Kadriye had nodded, at Briella's words. Unless Eshe felt the information needed to be secret she would happily share whatever findings the elder mystic had with Briella. She trusted her kin and the older alkidike girl had become special to her over time.
Not wanting to get left behind the young mystic nodded again and moved towards the rest of the group. "It seems like a place big enough one could get lost in and I'd rather not spend the rest of my life trapped here." Kadriye would like more time to study the temple and the writing on it but she would prefer to do that at her leisure.
Qi offered a whistle of approval at that sentiment, the jungle sprite had no desire to live in this place permanently. Although he was small and could fly away for help if anything dangerous happened.
