🛠 By the sound of things, Mari had grown accustomed to the explosions. At least her inventions never blew up, they just kindly disassembled themselves or refused to work. Maybe she could help- No... No she couldn't. Distancing herself was the best course of action, she had to stick to that. "Hopefully you don't blow up too much" she gave a half smile to the woman. On the bright side, Mari lived on the outskirts of town which was good; one step further from the city. It seemed she had done so to protect others from her inventions, but #7 was thankful for it. The only question was: where to go? She definitely wasn't going back to the labs and if push came to shove... Answering force with a stronger force seemed to be her only option; especially if more androids came. They gave her these "weapons", it was only fair that she used them to defend herself. She just needed time to familiarize and practice with them, so when the time came, she was ready. And if it really came to a matter of her freedom...would she take the fight to them? Her resolve was a little shaking in that regard. #7 got in the passenger seat of the car, ready to head to Mari's home. "Your car...it's very nice." And much better than flying; she hardly had any time to sit down for moment. It was...nice.

☣Mari slid into the drivers seat and smiled pulling her braided hair back over her shoulder so she didn't pull on it while driving. "Since the device I am trying to make is small, it shouldn't be that big of an explosion. It's just trying to get the concept to work properly." she said buckling up. When #7 said she had a nice car, Mari shrugged. "Thank you, I've had it forever, if it breaks I just keep fixing it." she said before turning on the engine and starting their drive towards the Rocky Lands and her house.
🛠 Mari really had her curious as to what she was making; maybe if she knew what she bought she could discern from that. Given how she had yet to say what it was, #7 felt she should pry. Once she was strapped in, her gaze went out the window as the engine cut on. She would watch as the cityscape would slowly disappear from sight as the entered the rocky terrain. It wouldn't be long now; she was already steeling herself for training.

Touching down Shiver located a street vendor selling food. Shiver glided over to the vendor who was understandably frightened "I request a serving of your product" he said as the Vendor shakily handed him a cone of mint icecream.

☣Thankfully after all that's transpired and what's been reported on the news, West City hasn't been the next target that would be up for demolition. She had entrusted a lot to her new friend just to revive a dead one but she was certain to see it to the end. Unfortunately, she had to come back to the city to pick up some supplies that she needed. "Ok, just a few things will be on my way. I hope she's ok." she said buckling up. Mari has been looking around until she noticed an odd-looking being floating in midair looking at food. "That's completely....not surprising to say the least." at least, not for her.

☣"Um, hello. It's Mari." With hesitation, she uttered her response to the Frost Demon. Kind of rude how he didn't introduce himself before asking who she was. Well, he isn't an Earthling so supposedly it is not as far fetched as she may think. She needed to pick up her remaining supplies, however, something beeped all of a sudden. Looking down to her watch that she had customed made herself, it was beeping rapidly. An orange dot flashed at a fast pace on her watch, indicating that this being possessed something that she desperately needed. Despite entrusting her radar to her new friend, she created another that could operate on a smaller interface like her watch. If in any case, Seven couldn't retrieve all the other ones, then the genius can help pick up the slack. Thankfully, it worked. Her face turned salient as she looked up to him. "I'm here to pick up some supplies for some inventions and hoping to help a friend out." She didn't want to press him about it but sadly, time is of the essence. She had no idea of the severity of the Ragna Crew, but she knew something bad was going to happen. The quicker she can revive him, the better. "Um, can I ask you a question, you don't by chance have a bright orange ball with some red stars on it do you?" This was her moment, she had to seize it.

☣Time that passed felt like it was slowed down. Mari learned a bit by this encounter but Shiver has something that she needs. When he finally revealed that he did actually possess the orange wish orb, her eyes grew. Her heartbeat paced far forward. She was mere moments away. Of course, he wouldn't just give it to her, he needed something in return. Forcing her to actually think. What could she actually give?
Thinking it over brought upon something clever. After all, he didn't seem like a bad person at all. So the offer to assist in helping find them again for his benefit along with different kinds of luxurious foods to taste. It was a big stretch but one that managed to pay off with the Frost Demon agreeing to the terms. Utilizing his ki to hover it through the air to reach her. He graciously extended his hand out towards her to give her the orb. He was delighted that she wasn't going to trap him in some odd confinement...unlike the last time.
_┗ Flying at high speeds, Rashid was dead focused on finding this Shiver member and put him up for questioning. He had to know exactly the true objectives behind such a being. Whenever he ever gained a strong feeling about something or a person, Rashid stuck true to it and when it comes to the Ragna, the importance behind those feelings are multiplied. In this case, the feeling behind this demon was negative. Almost, as if allowing him to simply become a member just because felt like a trap. A trap that this man was not willing to allow existence.
Coming across what he didn't know to be West City, he stopped flying but stayed in the air. Utilizing his manipulation in ki, he sensed the being he sought after. He knew that the target was here, near. Now he just needed a visual capture to confirm everything. "..." He didn't imagine that it would be too long nor too quick to find him but when he did, he became nothing but observant.
Rashid watched Shiver converse with a random female from afar. Eyes cold, peeled and chiseled over the entire encounter. Every little detail registered in his brain, though he couldn't catch every word the actions themselves foretold the story as if it were a silent movie. He watched from the moment he brought out the orange orb he had held onto to the point of his hand stretched out for the ball to enter the female's hands. Rashid had enough of waiting, it was time to seize the moment that appeared to him. Floating down with bursts of raw energy shoot from his body taking the form of powerful force pushes scattering from around him. His eyes locked with Shiver from the moment he spoke out. "I have to say, you are a being of mysteries. Surely, since meeting you left so many questions that need to be answered." The moment Shiver had heard him, he turns with the swiftness, standing in front of Mari with the Dragonball in hand. Drops of sweat suddenly appeared with a bit of puzzledness. Mari however, even though not having the ability to sense ki, quivered in fear. Anyone who can just appear and make the air move like that was frightening. Her fear formed a coating of frustration at the realization of how close she was to getting the DragonBall needed.
"I will cut to the chase here. I am not a fan of you being a member of the Ragna Crew. It seems you don't possess the amount of grit it takes to truly be one of us. I think you're only joining for a different reason, whatever that reason is it may possess a form of betrayal. I'm not having that at all." Shiver, while flustered forced himself to remain calm under such circumstances. He only joined to ensure his life's safety in the matter of the moment. Coming clean about it now may end up very bad, he decided to dive deeper on the lie and attempt to persuade Rashid to believe him. The Ragna member however...would not budge. The conversation continued with Shiver not making any sign of progress, only to be left with a moment of desperation. "If you are who you say you are put down the woman behind you. Kill her right now and maybe, I will believe you."
Mari's eyes jumped wide open as her body froze. She's not physically capable of holding her own, she had her brain for that. If she managed to do anything, it was sure death on the spot for her. She has to do anything. Anything that can prolong the time for her to find safety. With the force of will, her hand trembled to her wristwatch radar. Trying so hard to move with speed but within secrecy. Managing to push a button for her watch to activate the DragonBall and her location to 'active.' That's when she realized by the flashing color change of the area when Shiver turned around with a finger pointed at her...holding in a strong amount of energy. She hadn't seen anything like that in so long, she forgot how shook she can be. She looked at Shiver's eyes. She could see that he was being forced beyond his will, but was prolonging time himself without making it obvious. Mari let a gulp, pressing the button yet again, now signaling her location to another made radar for Sev to come reach her. Hopefully, she wasn't too far away... ┓
Shiver lowered his hand and a faint green outlined his form. The cart that the ice cream vendor was using outlined in green and began to float next to Shiver. His own hand was forced by Rashid. He had already planned on doing something to "prove" himself. Shiver raised his finger to the sky his emerald green energy coalescing into a sphere above it. As he rose up into the sky it grew bigger and bigger and bigger. The sphere arched with black sparks and as large as a decent meteoroid. Shiver looked towards Rashid I was merely here to get some earth food for the time he said and threw the sphere into the city. The cart floated in front of Mari's body, without being overtly obvious. The sphere making ruins of the city.

☣"I was merely here to get food for the time..." Those were the last set of words to progress and register in her brain. All before her eyes caught a bright green glow that would become the catalyst to her home's destruction. It was as if time had suddenly slowed down at how everything had transitioned for the worst! The only thing that she could realize was a card coated in green aura appeared in front of her before a sudden explosion, decimating the entire city, turning it into ruins filled with dust.
One minute, everything was going so smooth until the next minute, everything turned green to white...to then nothing. Several moments passed on by. Sight slowly became a realization for the girl. Not able to move most of her body and coughing up blood. By the grace of Kami, she had managed to hold onto some bit of life left. Perhaps when Shiver used that coated cart, it took a majority of the damage that would've inevitably killed her. Her voice raspy and in pieces, slowly with a large amount of struggle extended herself out to witness the destruction. Glancing back to herself to realize her leg and arm were broken aside from laying in the puddle of her own blood. Not much of actual words were able to come out but one thing she could say was one word...a call. A call for her friend. Her sight became blurry once more but the sight of a flashy orange-colored ball appear from within the rubble. Mari, with the last bit of energy she had to hold on to for the moment, drained to its last bit, causing the body to collapse on the gound but with a smirk on her face, and a finger pointing to the orange balls direction.
_┗ Rashid's eyes dimmed, extending out his hand. Using his ki to form a barrier around himself to keep him from being harmed throughout the duration of Shiver's destruction to the city. The rumblings from the explosion ruffled his barrier quite a bit to the Ragna member's annoyance but held his ground which when dissipated, ended in him levitating in the air. Looking at the destruction and scanning for any kinds of life only to find neither at face value put him at a pause. "I say to kill one person, you decimate a whole city. Shows you don't follow directions exactly." Killing just her would've caused fear and terror to anyone who was watching from afar which would've brought more power to Tonkhūr but that just wasn't happening now. His power started to harness from within outside, his clothes ruffled as a reflection from just the power emitting from his body. His eyes, cold as an iceberg, pierced into Shiver's. "Seems you have the 'initiative' to be one of us, but that doesn't mean I have total faith in you. In fact, I'm conflicted in ending your life right now..." Suddenly his power eased and reverted to normal. "For now, I guess I'll leave you alone, I have plenty of chances to end your life. Let's go, time to go back and regroup with the rest." Stating turning his back before flying off with Shiver back to Tonkhūr and the rest of the Ragna Crew. ┓

Celes arrived in West City's freah ruins cloaked in her light blue Ki, the energy dispearsing once she arrived over what she could determine was the epicenter. There was a survivor, and she had to find her fast. Closing her eyes, she reached out with her senses, looking for thr slightest energy signature. It took a moment, but she eventually found it, and it was fading. Celes burst over to whom she didn't know to be Mari and kneeled down. She was in bad shape.

☣"Er...mu....dr..agg..." With whatever energy she had left, Mari spurred out words. She was way too tired to even move. Her life literally hanging by a thread. Her hand fidgeted over to the direction of the ball, not realizing that she was no longer the only person to be there anymore. "Dr...drag....ball..." She needed help and badly!
