Okay, bad touch on Mimsy. Maybe something gentler next time? Was she a hand holder? Did she like shaking hands? No hands? What about waves, was that okay? She would make it right okay, Mimsy, any friend of Lucky's was someone to try and be nice to.
"Ohhhh." Stormy nodded against her arms a little, dragging the skin about her eye to and fro. "I never liked Ground Zero as a term. It doesn't make sense when you think about it, because how can ground be nothing? Or is zero like first spot, like how in movies you can have a version one and version two and version six-hundred and forty-five, but zero is always first no matter what?"
< < You are doing it again. > >
What?
< < Semantics. > >
Not sorry.
At the mention of runic weapons, Stormy perked and said as a matter of factly, "I'm not making that mistake again. I was a little late 'cause I grabbed a few just in case. If you want to go, I'll hold your spot?" It was only courteous!
Spotting Tuck all by his lonesome, she designated a big wave his way. "Over heeere~ Come sit so you don't get all asleep standing up 'cause that's bad for you: leading cause of sleep walking." Where that came from was anyone's guess--mostly it was Stormy trying to make sure whatever happened, she had at least a few people around for when she messed up.

Sherry had been poking at something that she hoped was edible when two certain someone's came wandering in recruiting haphazardly for a mission. Horsemen? Sure, why not. She'd just been told there was no choice anyway.
Besides, it would be nice to have a change of scenery to help take her mind off of things. Maybe. Hopefully. (She didn't dare ask herself, "How bad could it be?")
So she nodded her acceptance of the mission. She then decided to force down at least a couple spoonfuls of foodstuff.

Al was attempting to just swing by the cafeteria, grab food, and horde it away like a squirrel when he was pointed out. Horsemenwhat? He stared at the fellow deathers before they made it clear there was no choice in the matter and moved on to the next unfortunate victim.
Al immediately looked around for any familiar faces and eventually found Rep's and made a b-line for the man.... unaware he wasn't on his own like Al had been.

Evan had had worse cafeteria food, he was almost sure of it. He tried really hard to recall such an occasion, because it was better than thinking about whatever it was that he was currently eating. He was halfway through a blob of green stuff that he really hoped was just overcooked vegetables when another Hunter came in and suddenly recruited them all for a mission.
The Sun looked between the Hunter and his half-eaten meal before pushing the plate away. Even if he hadn't just been given an order, it wouldn't have been a choice. He didn't even know what a Horseman hotspot was, but it sounded less dangerous than finishing his lunch.

Glancing over at Stormy, Tuck took a long sip of his coffee before ambling over to where the hunter sat. It'd been a long time since he'd seen her but he was happy to make her acquaintance once more, and a slow smile creaked over his face as he took a seat. "That obvious that I'm tired?" He was sure that it probably was, as he felt entirely dead on his feet. It was a rhetorical question, really, and so he continued with a low, tired chuckle. "Ain't been sleepin' well these past few nights."

Rep kept his eyes on Harrison intently as he eyed B0nez. "If it is, they can't make me leave your side, just saying."
He would have said more if Al hadn't chosen that moment to head over to them both. He took a deep swig of his hot chocolate, deciding already this trip was going to be a pain in the arse before it had even gotten off the ground.
"Hey Al." he said. "If you valued your hide you'd just have walked right the ******** out of here the minute you saw trouble." he gestured at Sam. "And trouble the lesser" and Mark. "Probably too late for you now though."

Harrison smiled with one side of his mouth. The worried expression resolved into something more grim, as Harrison seemed to make up his mind about something, and he nodded, once, to Rep.
An unfamiliar face wandered over.
"He new?" Harrison asked, clipping B0nez to his belt loop.

Al looked at Rep worriedly, "Yeah... consider it lesson learn--" He stared at the wall of manly man and scars that was Harrison. The look of him immediately giving the trainee the impression of some massive gnarled soldier who defeats grizzlies by flexing alone and eats trainees for breakfast.
Al immediately shied away and moved to have Rep between himself and the stranger, "Y-y.."

It was really ******** hard not to burst out laughing at the look of deep horror that Al gave Harrison and the way he duly put himself well on the other side from him.
"Very new." Rep said pointedly, immediately worried he hadn't had a chance to tell Harrison to keep his helpfulness in check. "I've been taking him under my wing."
"Al, Harrison. Harrison, Al." He still dragged the word Harrison out oddly as if he was unfamiliar with saying it at all.

One of Rep's projects. Real easy to land yourself squarely in the betrayer category there, and the last one hadn't turned out so great, but this one looked cowed enough to fit what he knew about Rep's tastes.
He eyed Al critically, then looked over at Sam.
"Real wordy, isn't he. ...What division," he asked.

Al waved to Harrison at the introductions, eyes wide and mouth struggling to form words. Rep's man-wives were all scary. He was fairly grateful these two were it - the 3rd might've been a walking mountain of kill on sight.
He blinked at the question, immediately forgetting and then looking to Rep as if he had all the answers to everything.

Rep was trying very hard not to laugh still.
"He's in Death." he said with all seriousness. "And normally is a whole lot ******** more talky, usually its getting him to be quiet and use his ******** indoor voice that's the trick." He almost added that Harrison would know all about being wordy but resisted, because you didn't undermine people in front of the guy you wanted under your heel unless you wanted him thinking it was all right to do so himself.
"Woke up no long ago. He's living in your auld room."

"Death, eh." An impending Moon lecture was averted. He smiled some at the mention of his old room.
"Got a real nice picture window," Harrison said. "I got lucky with that one. Only some of my s**t turned up missing, and I had three walls left. Half the dorm had water damage and their whole ******** rooms caved in. ...This'll be your first mission?"
Since Al was staring, he leaned in closer.
He tapped his chin, and tilted it up so Al could see where the scars continued down his neck.
"Got these my first mission."
He hadn't really.

Ceres had been just minding her own business, sipping on a cup of coffee, when the commotion had started. Lifting her eyes, she rolled them a second later. Oh great.
b***h queen decided to dish out orders. Clenching her teeth Ceres sent Sam a glare, choosing not to speak up for the time being. Instead of moving, or reacting to the 'oh wow ponies' intel, she settled shift in her chair... and took another large swig of her drink.
One conversation that did have her attention though, and made her cough back a laugh in to her cup, was Rep and Harrison's teasing of someone she had not seen around yet. A newbie?
