Nuawahn laughed delightedly as the sprites swarmed around him, tugging at his hair and ears and fingers. He spun around inside the cloud of sprites, happy even when they pulled his hair enough to hurt. That was okay! They were having fun, and he was too, and Tahira was, and that made it even better!

La'amu settled in a ways away to watch and wait patiently if not particularly happily. The sprites didn't impress her, but- even if the old capramel wouldn't admit it- she was happy to see her little one so happy.
It looked like it would keep him entertained for a while, anyway. She flicked at a curious sprite with her ear and let herself drift into a half nap as Nuawahn and his new friend- friends- played in the warm afternoon.
