Charging a tree she ran be with alittle energy and egniting it she didn't bother ot turn and see if it hit any avandcing MRD. They were deep int he Mississpi wilderness late at ngith with no light God this wans't going to end well for them. Unless Gambit had another plan, he always did and knowing htat much aobut him gave Rogue a small meassure of confort. "Please tell me you know where we're going?" She called to him managing to acutally keep up wiht him despite the trees nealry haluting her and the branches hitting her int he face.
Charging trees and other things was giving the MRD a nice blasted trail to fallow but it was also slowing them. She kept telling herslef Gambit wasn't leading her into a trap. Again and again she told herself as if hopign and praying would make it relaity.

Wanda sturbbornly looked ot the side, though appearign far mroe childish than she menat to at Kurt's words. Her own enbarassment was ixed wiht hurt pride sense she had prided herslef at beign above such childish behavior and antics, Jurt always seemed to prove her wrong it seemed. "So you .. have somehtign in mind?" She asked soundign far more nervous than she meat to. 'It has nothign to do with the others. Just.. Father. If Father finds out ...' No she didn't want to think what MAgneto would do to Kurt.
A few years back she wouldn't have feared such a situation but latley .. his behavior somewhat worried her. It was stress though nothign more. He had much to organize and many more to lead and to keep in line. Therefore it was only natural that hsi temper would flare once and awhile.

"Yeah well .. your Green Bean." Alison threw back taking the beer once he was finsihed wiht it and took two huge gulps of it. Wipping her mouth with the back of her hand she sighed loudly. "Eh someitmes this life.. like I mean This," She inicated the room around her with a vague wide wave of her hand. "is boring as ******** soemtimes. Miss the odl days you know. The fights the action the heat of it now though ... stale I guess is the word." Alison told herslef it was oneless at first than becuase she was loenly, in mor than a few ways. Now it seemed as if normal life, civilian life, jsut didn't work for her much anymorre.
"As ******** up as the Brotherhood is Green Bean, you at least aren't bored half to deaht with s**t like payign rent and getting a paycheck. Least I don't thin ya do anyway. Magneto charging you idiots rent yet?" She aske diwht a playful smirk and short laugh.

"Could go without the MRD." Rogue shitd on the seat to make herslef more confrontable. The swamp wouldn't garnetee evasion but it would at least give them some space and hearing the shouts from the humans pursuieng themalong with the nighttime sounds of th swamp gave her an uneasy feeling. The seat she had was hardly confrotnalbe more hard than anything and bumbps werne't makign her feel any better ehtier. "Where we headed?" She asked once they had gotten what she felt to be far enogh to talk. She'd forgotten how dark the swamps coluld be despite growig up in a similar enviorment but years in the city made her forget if only slighlty.
The night vision she got form Gambit was already startign to fade, strang eit usually lasted longer. Chalking the fast resevisve power to only the briefest level on contact between she took to looking aorund again. The swamp had a life of it's own at ngiht the long sharp branches of trees looked like somehtign trying to grab her. Oart of her feared Gambit was tkaing he rot the Theives Guild than and there, she knew only small htings of the Gld mainly form what Gambit told her. And from what she knew she wanted nothign to do with them, being as polically dangerous as they were finacly remidned her all to much of what theGoverment wanted ot do Mutants. Gambit selling his own kind of out to those very people made her all to aware of the people that wanted her were like.

Wanda felt dizzy and nauiated nearly on the verge of vomiting. How Kurt coudl stand to do this so often she coudlnt' understnad, being useed to it played a large part though. Holing her hand over her mouth and breahtign deeply to keep her sotmache form comig out her mouth and more than liekly onto Kurt' himself. 'Great first date.' She thaught to herself finally feeling stable enough to not loose her dinner. "No, no I cna't tell at all that your trying to be romantic." She said cathcing the joke Kurt was pulling under normal circumstnaces yes she would find this sort of place to be overly corny and way to much. In Kurt's situaiton she could understnad the want for a place like this. "So did you birng me home just now?" She joked lightly sense she still didn't know where Kurt currenlty resieded they both agreed it had been safter for her to not know.

Alison caught Taod's tongue out of the corner of her ey and the action caught her attention immedlaty, uentially. 'God damnit!' She cursed inwalryd suddnely relaizing what just happened to her. 'This is what I get for not keepign myslef socal. I get hot and bohtered for no reason. b*****d doens't even get it ehtier! I should push him out the damned window!' She thaught angelry and with a large chunk of enbarassment.
Of course her mind also had to imagne all the things he coudl do with that tongue, none of which were exaclty innocnet in anyway. She wathced him out of the corner of her eye intently for a few more seconds before her mind allowed her to acutlaly Think and move of her own accord again. The room was feelign oddly warm suddnely and Alison was aware of Why, she wans bothered exaclty that it was Toad of all people that got her rilled up. In fact she hd seen mutnats with far worse phycial mutantions than him, it was just .. weird to get such a reaciton form him. "so other htan eatign all my bacon why else you here? And exapign Pietor's candy a** stupdiity doens't count as an answer ehtier." She said tyring to make her mind come back to relaity form the gutter.

"Hitch a ride so somewhere else.. sounds like a plan." Rogue muttered not really caring at the moment sense the rocking of the boat was making her backside hurt. North seemed the most logical place to head but than again myabe it was just her. "They probalby picked up on all that power usage." Rogue said somewhat only than realziing the X-Men would have more than likely pinpointed the location due to the mutant powers being used, except Gambit was moving them. This was ethier good or bad for Rogue but than part of her didn't want to see them so she settled on it beign a good thing. "The X=Men will probalby find us evnetually find us. What are you doing to do to them?" She asked seriously sense past enouncters showed the Gambit and her old tema woudl often more times than not attack each other on sight, mainly her old tema. They had made it perfeclty clear they didn't trust Gambit nor even wanted anything to do with him. Part of her also wondered who she would side iwht if such a fight broke out as well.

"I dont teloport enough to get used to it sorry." Wanda breathed deeply a few times before she felt her stomache finally settle again. "Well a home away from home is just as good guess you wouldn't want me telling my father." She smirked understanding his slight paranoia and small distrust of her. "Oh don't give me that look I understnad don't worry about it." With any luck no humans would find them etheir mutents were another thing alltogether though, hoepfully Pietor hadnt' fallowed her to the inital location. "You know you don't have to live out here, I mena my offer stil stnads about joining us.." Se said carefully. The topic of him joing the Brotherhood had come up however Kurt understandablly was always very hesitent about it.

Alison looked at the ticket he offered her than at him carefully as if he may be pranking her. "And in return you want..?" She asked while she held the other side of the ticket but not tkaing it form him. It had been sometime sense she had even been out so to speak but given recent events she had little time or even the acutal want to go out most of the time and face the world. If she coudl brign herself to be fully honest with herself most days she just wanted to stay in bed and not even crawl out.
Unless that was a side effect of being abondoned by your old team and freinds when no one so much as even tried to look for you.

Two days non-stop driving in a car didn't make Rogue fell great for a few reasons. One, she was sore everywhere. Two, there was nothign to do on the ride sense the radio reception was static at best and fianlly she wasn't feeling that great.She didn't even care that her and Gambit had to share a one bed room, really all they coudl afford nor had she even toched the food in fornt of her. She just laied on the top of the bed telling she told herself she wanted to throw up because of the long car ride.She was dimly awar of the tv she wasn't paying attention to tha twas on.
For beign winter it sure was hot though.

Wanda hated telopaths.
If Jean kept up her little mental dance ruetine on her she was going to frazel the red heads brain wiht her own powers. The whole situation was hoenslty blown out of porportion, as usal when dealing with the X-Men. They just couldn't leave well enough alone, always butting in and making everything worse. 'Still the same four man group. Apparnelty no one else wants to bother with them anymore or their dead.'[/] She thaught ntoing the same four popping up all the time it seemed to give her a headache. Shadowcat easy enough, Iceman also easy enough, Cyclops remove his visior he does all the work for her. Jean, well if Wanda had her way she would have had the other women's powers eat her alive, though perhaes that was a tad to extreme for their currents setting. Of coruse sense she seemed so insistent of annoying her she may just do just that.

Alison foudn her days off to be the worst. aying on her coutch flipping lazily threw the channels but not even looking at them she alsmot wanted ot open the window and let the cold air in, though it was already getting cold to begin with sense winter was coming. "High speed chace, high speed chace oh look another high speed chace go figure." She mummbled more annoyeddrumming her fingerson her sotmache while channel surfing she casually had the blining balls of light appear between her fingers.
A low level activation no harm there.
While twirling the lights and wathcing she stumbled apon a live news feed of hte MRD. "Great." Her finger rested on the channel change when she haulted seeing familiar figures. Suddnely sitting up depsite herself she focused on the screen.
They were alive!At least some of them but still alive!

Rogue blamed the stress of everything nad her less than poor living condiditons in the last few years. The room itself was warmer than normal to counteract the cold outside but she still felt freezing and hot at the same time. She blamed her lack of hungery and th burning in her thraot which she ultimatly blamed on the wheather. "Mfph." She mummmlbed out while burring her face in the confrotner of th ebed finding light to be bothersome. 'Not sick just tired.' She thaught with some dismay. God if she was sick that meant her powers coud come and go at will, and more inportnalty wihtout her control.

"No, no one else so far." Kitty replied while fazing threw an MRD and roundhous kicking him in the back of the head. "So far your the only one we know of and well Taod if you want to branch that far out." She offered. She hadntohign against Taod anymore the guy had evnetually gotten her to warm up to him, so to speak while he had been wiht them. Fightening both MRD and the Brotherhood at the sametime really drained her and shefocused entirly on teh MRD forgetting the Brotherood however faintly. Kitty didn't trust Wanda though and both for the reasons many knew of and for many other ones. As fi on que a hex bolt flew by her head and into the MRD soldier next to her. Kit found that to have been far to close for confrot.

"Room's just a bit warm is all.." Rogue graoned out while her face was moslty burried int he bed's conforter. It was nearing winter andshe was sweating and her face was turning red. She blamed the room, though a less foggy part of her mind said that the room's heaer wasn't working so she shouldn't be this warm anyway. "Just tired.." She mummbled while burrying her face fully into the blanket finding the lights in the room to be somewhat a pain on her eyes all of a sudden. 'I blame stress and being stuck in a care for so long with no breaks ... and somhow I blame Gambit .. for whatever good that does me right now.'

"One time!" Kitty hissed back at Kurt while phasing herself just a bullets ripped threw where she was standing. "Things are .. tense at base to put it lgihtly." She admitted to him while they were currently back to back. "Also .. there are rumors about..." She wasn't sure if she should continue but Kurt had a right to know of the growing whispers concerning him. " it's about you and .. and Wanda. There not exaclty good ones ethier." She admitted with a small level of shame.

"M'fine.." Rogue muttered in the covers while forcing herself ot look up, with far more effort than she wanted. "Just crmaped." She mummlbed while glancing over at the TV and it's horrid recption but not really seeing it. She needed to eat that much was obivous but the thaught of tyring to hold something down made her uneasy. The pizza looked oddly appetizing considering her nausia, she blamed well she wans't sure what she wanted ot force the blame of her current state of helath on. "We cna' stay here." Maybe spending so long running was makign her feel sick staying in one place perhapes?Yes she would use that.

"Like I said I dont' wanna start anything." Kitty admitted findg the MRD were pulling back but not very fast. "Hopefully they don't bring anymore of their new toys. We infiltrated a facotry las tmonth .. those Sentinle's of their's are starting to get really scary. More than normal." Kitty corrected herself ducking right as a HEx Bolt went flying right by her head, and she would try and pretend that hadn't been aimed at her ethier, all for Kurt's sake.

She didn't want to eat but she knew she needed to. She didnt' wan pizza but she couldnt' be picky, but she worried she may acutally loose her stomache fi she aet it. "Can we leave tommorow anyway? This place is making me sick." She mummbled out. Perhapes it a side effect of spioning some of Gambit's power but that made no sense she had done it before.
Well the last thing that came to her was that she was cold and hungery.
"Sure they can't find us here?" She asked wondering if depsite driivng nonstop for severle days. They tracked mutants for miles and miles before so her and Gambit's situation was hardly any different.

With the MRD scatteed and gone Wanda felt no further reason to stay there any longer. The Z-Men she didnt' spare a look at save for Kurt. Simply to let him nnow that they werre still alright with everything. "Toad we're goign home." She called to the other mutant. She had noo want to be there anymore and she wanted out as soon as possilbe.
She didn't need to stand there and be judged by mutants that had turned their backs on their own kind becuase they couldn't handel the idea of getting their hands dirty.
