If we make a custom technique, do we have the option to make it a personal technique? Or can our character come up with the technique on their own without having to be given a scroll or have it taught to them?
I mainly ask, since I want Hasashin to be able to use modified versions of tree walking, making his falls soundless if he lands on his feet no matter how high/cushioning his landing, And the all important power kick where he overloads the sole of his foot with chakra and it has enough force to increase the kick by 1 rank as well as force them into a hole if they're up against something.

Training and the Awesomness We Have Provided All Bloodline/Clan/Summons are automatically learned when the user reaches the appropriate rank. They automatically learn techniques one rank above them. So a genin gets the chuunin level techs and so forth. Does this apply once a stage is learned? Like how anyone with the Byakugan has to first unlock it to start using it, do they suddenly acquire all techniques up to Chuunin if they are a Genin?

Just checking I'm reading this correctly:
So if I have a character with no Clan or Bloodline I get +3 Personal Attributes in addition to the base one (for a total of 4) and +4 1/2 rank up Passives in addition to any passives granted by my class and personal attributes?

No, you get a total of 5 personal attribute slots to do with as you please, within reason. However if say you went for a demon, it would essentially be like having a Bloodline and you'd lose 2 personal attribute slots. Oh and whatever passives from your class.

Yeah if any stage has a requirement and it is fulfilled the user automatically learns the techniques their rank and one above.

Are the actual ninja based techniques towards the bottom from the Toad contract(Whip of love, toad oil bomb) auto learned or do I have to go through the training process?

Another grandfathered question, if you don't mind. In the new rule in updates about the ranks of a jutsu one can learn, does this mean I can't use/have the spiral sphere(Rasengan)?

You can keep it, but you won't be able to use it. You'd kill yourself lol

I'm curious, what's the plan for promotions? Are there gonna be chuunin exams like cannon between the three villages? Or is is going to be just inner Village test? Just curious ^^
