C.J. smirked a little bit when she mentioned their first night together.
"I STILL have webbing in a few places." he cracked as he looked over at Arell, relaxing. However, as he was unaware, the rest of the Knuckledraggers were replaced by some familiar members to the guys. Out of confusion, a rival Blues and Rock band known as the Buzzards had arrived.
Meanwhile, Arell chuckled a litle.
"It could be woise. Ceej an' I lost our jobs in Texas . . . but dat's okay. We found another outlet." he said, being a gentleman yet enjoying the view.
A few minutes later . . .
After some drinking the guys had to get up on stage. Arell had put on (reluctantly) a pair of boots, better jeans and a cleaner shirt, and C.J. . . . who despite his beach bum attire, wore a black western shirt, black slacks and boots, with the guitars (and a reluctant Buzzards backing them) C.J. looked at Arell.
"Ready?" he asked as Arell smirked, cigarette dangling out of his mouth.
"Ah was BORN ready!" Arell drawled.
C.J. looked back at the girls and at the bar.
"Good evenin', Pierside Joe's!" he said with a smile and within SECONDS, the night turned
so crazy, the only way to compare (since we don't have the actual recording) is this Jerry Lee Lewis Bootleg of him at the Star Club in 1964!
