Pendragon, catching Edel and Miranda's conversation with her supernatural hearing, and sensing that Mars was not sure of how he felt about being petted, slowly backed off and continued to look at the large dragon. "Reckon ya must be lonely, bein' cooped up wherever ya are," she said, before she petted him a bit again. "Ya aren' gonna cause more trouble, are ya Mars?"

The large creature gave a deep, non-aggressive growl in response. He actually seemed to calm down a bit more after she had spoken his name. The flames surrounding his horns died down, and his molten scales began to cool. His body hissing as the hot scales cooled, dimmed, and hardened into dark black scales. Even his eyes began to dim and turn an inky black color.

Pendragon smiled when she saw the dragon calm down, and she moved back to his nose and patted it affectionately. "Yeah, there's a good boy, Mars. Nothin' t' be scared of... Now, let's see if we can' put ya back where yer s'posed t' be, yeah?" She began floating, slowly, back toward the magical mansion, trying to goad the large creature to follow her, but not doing it so much that he wouldn't want to do so.

Mars grunted as the woman pet his nose again, but didn't shrink back as he had before. When she began floating away, the large creature simply watched her descend back towards the ground. He still wasn't quite sure about the strange woman. Not yet anyway. "I must say, I'm impressed." Edel said, loud enough for Pendragon to clearly hear this time. "Mars is very territorial... and very picky when it comes to people touching him."

Pendragon looked back to Edel and shrugged. "Guess I jus' have a gift, ma'am," she called back, and looked back to Mars. "C'mon Mars, follow me. Ya can' stay out here, ya might wreck more stuff."
She looked back to Edel. "Am I gonna have t', like, get a cow or somethin' fer him t' eat? Dragons love eatin' livestock, right?"

Mars snorted at her. But... the master wasn't making a fuss over the woman... and she hadn't hurt anyone... So Mars growled under his breath, then began taking a few steps towards the woman. Might as well follow her if that's what she wanted. Edel chuckled. "Oh, they love meat... fish... some absolutely love eggs. Mars is fond of meat and certain types of rock and shrubs, believe it or not. I usually give him a mix of all three when I feed him. Usually tides him over until his next meal." she replied.

"Yeah, alright... Good boy Mars..." Pendragon kept her smile up, slowly motioning for the dragon to follow her, and she gradually got him close enough to the mansion that she could stop.
"Now... How t' get back where ya were..."

"Well, I have a doorway in the basement that allows me to go back and forth between my home and the location I have all of my pets living." Edel replied. Then frowned. "Mars is.... far too big to fit through the doorway..."

"Well, if yer a witch, can' ya jus'... poof him where ya want him t' be?" Pendragon asked, looking from Mars to Edel and back again before folding her arms.

"I could." Edel replied, crossing her arms as she looked up at the large dragon. "The bigger problem will be repairing my doorway once I can get to it." she replied, then motioned for Mars to move towards her. The towering creature did without a second thought. Moving towards her and stopping just in front of her to carefully lay himself down so that he was closer to her.

Pendragon looked to Mars and smiled. "He seems pretty loyal t' ya, ma'am," she said and she looked back to the witch. "So, um... I dunno much about magic, but I figure I can try t' help with th' property damage, since it's kinda my fault I guess."
