The warm smile that had made its way onto his face froze when he turned at the feeling of eyes on him. No sooner that he had thought of Junior did the male suddenly appear. Going through the emotional rollarcoaster was difficult with Starry, but it seemed like the ride was not over today. "Junior." His first thought was to embrace his name-sake son, his second was that it probably wouldn't be wise as he was no doubt pissed about the disappearance and leaving his mother. "It's really good to see you son."
"Fruits sound amazing. Raken was afraid we'd get what he called 'scurvy'...Three?" He followed his mothers gaze to rest upon his brother. He broke away from his mother to quickly walk over, offering a hand to his twin. "I've missed you bro." His green eyes shone brightly, a smile on his face. This was turning out to be one of the best days ever.
Three? She stepped away from the hugfest to turn towards, sure enough, Junior. The green pae never did get close to her yellow brother, but he was a sight for sore eyes regardless. Besides, it was the whole family. Who could ask for more?

(( I apologize now before you read the rest of Junior's reaction ^^;; ))
Starry's eyes widened, quickly pulling Shage and Cressida back from Junior. That look on his face could mean only one thing. He was seriously upset. "Lets.. Get you two something to eat. This way, this way." It was all she could do to keep her children from hurting one another.
Junior glared. Finally, he'd settled on an emotion, and Starry had called it. Anger. Serious anger. Junior clenched his fist, ice blue eyes fixed upon his father. He wasn't as nice as his mum, and never would be.
The younger of the two yellow demons stepped forward, fist still clenched. "Don't you dare call me son. Not after what you did to Mom." His voice was a growl, his stance... Pow. Junior couldn't contain it anymore, he'd punched Dameon in the gut with all the force he could muster. Which happened to be a decent amount if you took into account the polar bear he was bonded with.

OOC: Oh my. Well. That was unexpected. sweatdrop I feel so so bad for Dame! Poor guy, he didn't doesn't deserve this torment crying
BIC: He exhaled slowly when Juniors face gave way to anger. He didn't look away from the pae as he heard the two kids walk away. No, Dameon knew what was going to happen the moment he saw the other clench his fist. One did not grow up with a sister like Amara and be foolish enough not to know how to fight. And he let it happen. What he didn't know, what just how hard the punch would be. Wind completely knocked out of him, stars dancing in his vision, the older pae crumpled easily and stayed on his knees while he tried to regain his breath. "Do you feel better?" He rasped, shaking his head. "I see your anger, but violence solves nothing." His stomach slightly quivered from shock. It was going to leave one nasty bruise.
Shageki allowed to be led away, hoping for the best. If he had known what his brother had done, it may very well have been an all out brawl between children. But for now, he remained blissfully unaware, even if mildly confused and curious.
"But I wanted..." Begrudgingly she followed as well, ever one excited for a fight. She settled for looping her arm with Starry's. "Hey ma...Anything new?" It was said in a joking tone, because obviously in three years a whole lot of new things had to have happened.

"No. Not at all. I'd like to beat you to a bloody pulp but that won't make it better." He growled, shaking his hand out. Junior wasn't the angry type. Aunt Amara wasn't his role model. The male frowned, tail twitching in anger as he turned around.
"If Cressy and Shage weren't here I would've lost it sooner. You should be ashamed of yourself. She's been up here moping for three years. THREE YEARS! I've never seen anyone in such a state. And then you come crawling back as soon as it's convenient for you. Do you have any idea what this is doing to her?"
Starry smiled at both of her children. "Not much. There are some strange looking pae'il running around on the isle now. Hooved ones with wings and horns." She grinned, remembering Princess Luna. "And there's a nice young man that's teaching me how to surf." Between her ogling him of course. But Shage and Cressy didn't need to know that.

"Violence never makes it better... You know what does? Answers. Closure. That's why I'm here Junior." He took a large inhale, thankful for the oxygen to his lungs again. "Of course I know how hurt she is... A blind pae could see that. I never meant to hurt her." Now that his world was stabilized, he stood back up and dusted his knees. "I came back as soon as I could. I've never lied to you before, I wouldn't start now. I never wanted any of this to happen."
Shageki's eyebrows twitched. "New Pae'il?" His natural curiosity was perked. "I can't wait to meet them."
Oh no. More pae'il to meet. "I'm more interested in the surfing...I wouldn't mind learning." Cressida pondered aloud, nodding slightly in self-agreement.

"I don't care. You've no idea how much she's been hurting. Your answers probably made it worse!" He fumed, twitching in anger. Junior took a deep breath, taking a step away from his father.
"I owe it to her to be a happy family though. That's all she's wanted for years. A happy whole family." He frowned, casting one more glare at his father before leaving to join his siblings and mother.
"The one I met was a princess. She was a very nice woman." Starry grinned, telling Shage. Only to hear what Cressy had to say. The red head blushed, clearing her throat.
"Maybe later Cressy." Starry kept blushing, smiling. She didn't really want to tell the children about Aulii. Even if she wasn't sure what it was they were doing in the first place.

"Then you'll never stop hurting." Dameon warned at his son's back. He wished Junior would listen to him. Emotional wounds would never truly heal if there is no reason why they were inflicted. But the boy was young still, and wisdom was something only gained by age. He sighed and pondered leaving to the forest, but he knew running away wouldn't solve his problems. Instead, he decided to let Junior blow his steam while sitting down himself to the plate of fruit Starry left behind.
"A princess huh..." Shage rubbed the back of his head while looking up at the sky. Like in fairytales he used to hear from Raken, where a knight would save the princess. sweatdrop Why was he so hopeless when it came to love?
"Why later?" She frowned and glanced at her mother. Her eyes widened. "Ma...why are you blushing?" Her eyes left only to glance behind them, seeing Junior in the distance. That was a fast conversation.

"She's a very nice woman. She and I could do the same thing." Starry grinned, wiggling her fingers. "Only difference is hers is on a larger scale." The red head was more than happy to try and avoid answering her daughter's questions. But she knew better. It was gonna come up in conversation sooner or later.
"Because I need to tell Aulii my family returned..." Starry sighed, rubbing her neck. "I'm not sure how to handle it either." She blushed again, dreading that conversation. Guardians help her, this was going to get complicated.
Junior may not have been the best actor, but he was genuinely happy to see his siblings. It'd been way too long. "Shaaaaage!" He grinned, bumping into his bro. "And Cressy!" Junior reached over to ruffle her hair. It'd been years, and she'd been so young the last time he saw her.

"Interesting. I wonder if they eat the same food..." Suddenly, he felt a bump, and a large grin spread across his face. "Hey Junior! Settle everything with Dad?" There was a hint of worry laced in his words, especially since his father was not with the brother.
She narrowed her eyes suspiciously back at her mother. "Who is Aulii?" Something was up. Something... stare He touched the hair. The female flicked her curly locks back before offering a smirk. She already forgave the act, since it had been so long since they've seen each other. "You haven't changed a bit." She spoke almost dryly, still smirking.

"She eats the same fruits that I'm about to feed the three of you." Starry grinned, nodding a greeting to Junior.
"Aulii... Is the nice angel I'm learning to surf from." Hopefully that would keep her happy for a little while.
"I have changed a bit Lil Sis. My wife is gone, my kids are grown up, and I've got great grand children having children." Junior grinned, "Sorry Sage, I can't settle things with Dad. They'll work out as soon as things work out with me and my wife." He frowned, rubbing his neck. "Guardians be with her, she left about the same time you lot did."

The grin instantly dropped from his face, replaced with a deep furrowed brow. "Ducky? She left?" He shook his head in disbelief. "I'm sorry." Around the same time as them...what a horrible coincidence.
Oh, she'd let it rest for now, but only because Junior held her attention for now. To be sure, she knew there was more to the story with her mothers blushing. But for now...the topic could rest. "Great...grandchildren having children...Family has been pretty busy eh?" And to think, she had great great grand nieces and nephews as a teenager!

"Yeah... It's been kinda rough on me lately." He frowned, looking down. Dameon had no idea why Junior's reaction had been so over the top. The poor kid felt like he was being abandoned left and right.
"Lets see, Sari had children with Shale. One of her daughters had a daughter, who also had children..." He ticked them off. The family had been busy, but it'd been years right? It only made sense. Most of the children had already had their children for quite some time though.
"I think the youngest generation was mothered really early though. I could be wrong. It's not like I've kept up with all of them. It's a big family these days."

And he hadn't been around to comfort his twin. Suddenly Shageki felt a guilt of his own as he reached out to one-arm hug Junior. "I...know I've been gone...but if you'd like to grab a drink with me sometime, I'm here now if you want to talk." Worst brother of the season award went to: Shageki.
"The next family reunion is going to be crazy." And she didn't exactly like crowds that much. Her nose wrinkled. She thought getting back to the island would be all happy tears and hugs, but the whole day was filled with tension so think it could be cut with a knife.

"We're gonna have to catch up some time Bro... I just hope Dad forgives me for what I did to him." Junior nodded back in the direction he came from. "But he had it coming. It's not like I was going to be excited to see my family out of the blue. I should be though." Junior frowned, wondering just how he'd gotten so bitter.
"It's gonna be insane. And we're gonna have to have one now too. Now that you're all home at least." Starry grinned, "So, who's hungry?" She offered, holding up a bowl of fresh fruit.
She secretly wondered where Dameon had gone. Had Junior really done something so horrible to him?

His frown deepened. "What do you mean? What did you do?" His arm dropped from around junior as he shook his head. "It really wasn't Dad's fault. Raken got us lost." He glanced at the fruit, but he had lost his appetite. "You should know...Grandma Tara died."
Cressida winced when Shageki bluntly told the news of their grandmother. She quickly looked away to instead focus on the fruit, taking a piece and taking painstakingly slow bites from it.
