"I'm sorry," Jerry repeated, glancing up over his shoulder to where Jordan was retreating. He wasn't sure what else to say.
In the back of his mind, Roar gave a growly chuckle. What are you sorry for? You needed a good lash out at something. Blew half the Sun's budget on those dummies alone. Red was just askin' for it.
"I'm sorry," He looked down again as his voice dropped in volume.
You're sorry your friend's upset. Stop sniveling. You were asserting your dominance. The taste of blood means you did it right. That's just how packs are.
"I should... should get back to... to practice." He shot a nervous thumb to the keyboard, but was already eyeing his guitar.
He hesitated, glancing back to Jordan again, "You'll um. L-let me know if you hear more? About how he's um. Doing."

"Yeah. I can do that." Jordan just looked at Jerry a moment longer, not responding to the apologies. Then he nodded and turned to leave.

Jerry watched him go, brows knit.
You're sorry Jordan was involved. s**t happens. They'll get over it. You gotta' get over it too.
He bit his lip as the door shut, staring at the keyboard in silence for some time.
He should call Candace. They still needed to discuss the money he owed her.
He turned the volume back up on the keyboard, playing through the dim ring in his ears that was still healing from the fight.
He should call Candace. It would be nice to talk to someone who wasn't a wild pack animal.
You know I'm right.
"Awoowoowoo..." He whispered.
