He laughed, standing up and twirling around, admiring his spookie star. “Am I pretty now, Sibyl?”

Efflo was absolutely covered from head to toe icing and cake and all manner of baked goods. From the looks of it, so was Sibyl. He crawled down alongside her, inspecting the boxes. “We definitely match, you even have worms,” he said, laughing again as he dropped a couple more gummies her way.

As fun as the food fight was, however, they were running out of desserts. Efflo would say he wasn’t sure how that was possible but one look at the pair of them explained things pretty well.

“Sibyl, do you want to take the last of these to Gabriel? Do you think he would like them?”

“Perfect! But you were already pretty," Efflo smiled at her wormy addition, feeling very smooth. And proud that he had managed to say something nice. "Uh, I don’t know if he is or not. Let me text him.”

The boil pulled out his phone, opening it with sticky fingers.

Efflo looked at Sibyl, frowning. "He says he's not there."

Efflo hoped Gabby did because he sure didn't. Of course, he could always ask Sibyl if needed, she'd brought them here. He glanced up at the ghoul, smiling at her idea.

"That would be good but he asked where we were... And said he'd be here in a minute, so I guess we should stay put. Makes it easy for us, doesn't it?" He grinned, stooping to pick up the remaining boxes. It wouldn't be any good to have leave presents on the ground. Never mind that they'd sat there for the past while, they just wouldn't tell Gabby that.

The two of them standing there made quite the sight, arms full of boxes and both looking like they had rolled in the bakery.

Oh, Gabriel was coming to find them? Okay! That worked! Sibyl nodded and held the boxes in her arms, humming cheerfully and watching the sky. Would Gabby fly to them? He did love it so she didn't see why not. She was about to look elsewhere when she saw his silhouette in the sky. "Oh look! Look! There he is! Gaaaaaabbyyyyyyy~!"

Sibyl nearly raised her arms to wave at the boil but stopped herself before she threw the boxes everywhere. She was grinning from ear to ear and almost completely covered with frosting and crumbs, gummy worms sticking out of her hair in every direction and one even sitting on her shoulder. It was all over her face, her hands, her hair, her clothes.

And Efflo didn't look much better.

"Hi, Gabby! Not much, we were having spookies and then we decided to have a picnic! But we didn't have any forks or plates're nothin' sooooo we improvised!" She hurried over to the boil and the only thing that saved him from getting a big hug from the little frosting-covered Selkie was the fact that her arms were full of boxes. "Wanna try some? We didn't eat all of it." Clearly.
