"Don't hold back on my account," he told her with a grin. He jumped up in the air, coming down towards her and swinging both blades down to try and cut her vertically straight down her body. He hadn't reached full strength yet but he had started to put a lot of power into his attacks.

Blake stepped backwards, barely dodging the blade that she swung at him. "Then by all means, hold back," he told her. "The good citizens of Fastus Heights deserve to be free." He spun around again, sending two more waves of energy towards her, these ones stronger than last time. "And they won't surrender to the likes of you! We have our pride again!" He definitely seemed dedicated and convicted of his belief, though whether or not the citizens were as dedicated as he said was as yet to be known. "You can't scare us into backing down again! We will make the heroes who came before us proud!"

Blake's eyes widened in surprise as his energy waves were canceled out, trying to see through the smoke. He was too slow to react to Chilia's sudden attack and the kick caught him directly in the wound she had created earlier, causing him to cry out in pain. He went flying backwards into the dirt, sliding away from Chilia. He lay still for a moment before slowly getting to his feet. "Why do you fight?" He asked her. His coat and pants were covered in dirt from the fall though he didn't seem to mind at all. "Is it for Noira? For strength? What?" He asked her with a glare. "Whatever it is, it won't be enough!" He looked over at the other fights for a moment before turning back to look at Chilia. "My friends and I will prevail!"

Blake frowned at her response. "What?" He said, seeming confused. "That's not what a bad guy is supposed to say. You're supposed to be here to destroy us, not hope we win." He paused for a moment, then his face lit up as he seemed to come to some kind a realization. He made a determined expression again. "Don't try and deceive me you evil beast!" He said with his former confidence, pointing his sword at her. "I know you're here to kill innocent people and cause chaos! You won't win!" He launched himself forwards again, this time turning in the air as he attempted to deliver a powerful kick to her face.

Meanwhile, Fleur and Faye's fight continued, though Faye seemed to be steadily losing. At some point Fleur had plucked several crystals from her wings (new ones had quickly grown to replace those) and thrown them towards Faye. The resulting explosions had peppered Faye with sharp crystal shards and she was bleeding from multiple wounds. "Why don't you give up now and beg for mercy? I might be feeling gracious," Fleur taunted, a smile on her face. She had received some damage as well, though none of it appeared to be serious. "No way!" Replied Faye with an angry expression. "I'll never betray my friends!" Fleur covered her mouth but couldn't help letting out a giggle of laughter. "You are SO corny!" She replied, still unsuccessfully trying to contain her amusement.

Blake clenched his teeth to avoid crying out in pain as the wolf slugged him full in the back, sending him over Chilia and face-first onto the ground. "You ARE lying!" He insisted as he struggled to get up. "You're the bad guys. You don't feel sympathy for anyone. And we Heroes are going to put a stop to you." After several moments he managed to get to his feet and turn to face her. "If you get your way, innocent people will suffer and die. I'm here to protect them, and so are my friends. We'll stand against villains like you until the end." He gripped his sword tighter as he spoke. "That's...that's the way it is! Don't try and pretend like you have emotions!"

Fleur's battle seemed to be going fairly well and the tide was clearly against Faye. She was covered in burns and wounds, much of her formerly pristine white clothing was torn and she was breathing heavily. Fleur was pretty much intact, clothes and all, although she did have a few wounds and burn marks on her. Faye had an angry expression, but Fleur's was one of calm arrogance. "Why don't you just stop? This is embarrassing," Fleur purred as she watched Faye. "I'm not giving up while I can still fight for my friends!" Faye insisted. Fleur rolled her eyes and began firing more crystal shots at Faye.

"Shutup! I don't want to hear any more of your lies!" Blake replied. He tried to react to Chilia's flip-kick but he was two slow, taking a direct hit to the face and flying backwards yet again to the ground. He got up on his elbows and grabbed his blades again as he glared at her. "You...you can't win this!" He told her, though he sounded a little less sure of himself than he had at the beginning. It took him longer to get up this time and when he managed to it was clear he was more wounded than before. "And spare me your pity."
