Scarlett had relaxed a lot while the pup ate up, she needed to be a little more willing to trust. Standing up to stretch with a yawn she looked to Subliminal and Loki, "I think it would be best to get moving." Her eyes pasted the house pet but he was of no concern to her. If he and the female chose to go with them or not she didn't care.
After awhile of walking the males howls broke the silence. Stopping for a moment at the foot of the mountain she waited for Subliminal and Loki.

Shika Uchiki Ember jumped back a little as her shadow suddenly ripped away from under her paws and ran on ahead with other shadows. She looked at Bullet to ask her if she saw the same thing, then noticed that Bullet's shadow was still with her and she was in deep concentration. She must be able to manipulate the shadows, just like how I'm able to manipulate the blood that covers my body. But she can control others where as I can't. Ember thought to herself, and picked up the pace when Bullet did. They were now practically running to get to Frost. I'm just glad that Bullet is on my side, instead of against me. But Ember wondered how she could fair in a fight against Bullet. Frostridge had noticed their arrival from her high advantage; as they neared, she bowed her head towards her chest once in a nod of respect to Red-fur. The strange blood-stained female beside her spoke slowly, her eyes fixated on the two scratches now beginning to scab over. "What...did..you..kill?" They wished for an explanation of her slight damage. Frostridge began to form a reply when two howls broke through the evening air. She fairly jumped at the sound, instinctively reaching for her dagger before relaxing. Had to remember it was a form of communication; still seemed so strange to her though-

The pair quickly scurried their way up the hill to join the members that awaited.
Kuro quickly joined his mate at her side. Giving her a gentle nuzzle along her neck he hoped the others would arrive soon so that everyone could be led to safety. To much time had been wasted already. "Crescent should have the others brought along soon. Let's just hope it's not to long."
Streak could see that Frost had gained a few scrapes awaiting for us. He walked over to examine her and make sure she was okay. As he neared his own light aura enveloped him reacting with simultaneously with Frost. It caught him completely of guard and he wounded why it happened all of a sudden.

As he neared his own light aura enveloped him reacting with simultaneously with Frost. It caught him completely of guard and he wounded why it happened all of a sudden.Frost jumped at Streak's approach and subsequent glow- an unintentional snarl of surprise and wariness erupted from her throat as instinct caused her to whirl away from him, glaring at him suspiciously. After a moment of tense observation she allowed herself to calm down. No harm had come from the sudden emission of light, and he genuinely seemed as surprised as she did. In an effort to apologize for her outburst she sat down, quirking her head at him in slight confusion, before shaking it, her expression taking a more serious tone. "Bad-Flesh Bird. Me kill. No danger, now." It was a crude attempt at a report, but she tried her hardest, the words still uneasy on her tongue. "Lands, dead." she jerked her head in the direction they intended to travel, her expression grim. "Very hard travel." Her foreleg was burning with its old wound and she nuzzled it with a single lick, praying it wasn't becoming infected.

Returning Kuro's nuzzle she looked back the way they came. Scarlett wasn't far off so maybe the others would catch up soon. "I don't want us to get to far ahead of the others. Just in case." She sat down and watch Streak and Frost for a moment. She was beginning to worry about how split up the pack was. She didn't want anyone to get lost.

Ember looked up at the others as they came up to them, she nodded to Frost when she had...sort of explained that she had killed a bird that was infected. Ember smiled at her, she could tell that Frost was slowly beginning to understand the speech of a wolf. Ember sat down to wait for what the alphas wanted to do, she stared at a small lizard and watched it writhe in pain as she made it think its legs were breaking.

Ember smiled at her, she could tell that Frost was slowly beginning to understand the speech of a wolf. Ember sat down to wait for what the alphas wanted to do, she stared at a small lizard and watched it writhe in pain as she made it think its legs were breaking. Frostridge's attention snapped from Streak to a small hissing sound- a lizard was writhing as if in agony upon the ground in the open; in confusion she watched as the scaly creature writhed about leaving itself wide open to the predators all around. Her attention then snapped to the blood-spattered wolf she still felt on edge about- something about the way she looked at the lizard. Without even being aware of it she was on her feet in front of the she-wolf like a flash of lightning, something within her having put two and two together. Her blade was clenched in her teeth without her realizing it and she had pressed towards the suspicious female, Frost's eyes viciously cold like a blizzard, yet blazing with authoritive ferocity. "Stop." she growled, her voice muffled by the blade. Something was very wrong about this wolf, something bad, something that made her worry for the safety of her new team. Bloodied was doing something to the small prey on the ground, deep down, she knew it by sheer instinct. Frostridge had come to expect that these wolves were capable of things she did not fully understand- Not only that, something else, the way that the helpless lizard flailed in such obvious agony- unbidden memories of being strapped down to cold metal tables in white rooms, needles, strange electrical devices, bright lights, the fear, the pain, wanting it to stop, wanting it to end, but no help, no one coming, till Jane-Some secret alarm was ringing within her; maybe this was just a wolf custom she didn't know about, and confronting this female would cause an issue. Maybe the others would turn on her or see her as even more strange as they already did in her ignorance of the ways of wolf-kind... But even something as frail and insignificant as this little creature, to torture it so, just for the sake of sadism or play, not even to eat; it just felt wrong. Perhaps she thought more like a human then she realized... She snarled again to get her point across. If she could do it to lizards, she could do it to them. And Frostridge would make it clear that she at least, would not tolerate it.

Ember glared at Frost when she stepped in the way, she even dared to threaten her with the knife and that made Ember feel unsafe. The wolf thought that this creature shouldn't be tortured, It was going to be my snack soon anyways. Embers eyes went wide as the knife was pressed closer to her, on automatic instincts she got into Frost's mind and made her think that her back leg was about to explode. Ember was scared and she was trying to protect herself.

Embers eyes went wide as the knife was pressed closer to her, on automatic instincts she got into Frost's mind and made her think that her back leg was about to explode. Ember was scared and she was trying to protect herself. Her back leg suddenly flared with white-hot agony, nearly making her drop her blade entirely- It was as if a Brute-class's jaws had clamped down upon it, breaking the bones and ripping through her flesh- she staggered and nearly went down entirely; but as she glanced back at it in a moment of shocked surprise, she was stunned to see that it looked completely fine, even though it felt as if it was being torn off and a hundred human needles were being shoved into her ligaments. Just an illusion, just a trick, just like the humans used to do- her brain commanded. Work through it-It was solely her training and her past experiences with pain that kept her on her feet; she jerked the hilt of her blade and the chain whipped out, as if to wrap around the neck of her attacker and yank her to the ground while simultaneously surging forward to break the wolf's concentration- Somewhere in her mind she had concluded that this strange wolf's abilities required focus- if she could break that focus she might stand a chance before she tried anything else; she had to protect the others.

Ember saw the chain wrap out of the knife and she freaked out even more. She began to concentrate harder, and began to break through Frost's defenses. Ember was able to tell that the wolf relied on the knife in her mouth, so instead of attacking the leg she began to attack the jaw with her mind. She made Frost think that her bottom jaw was being pulled from its joints. The blood slowly began to ripple across her back, but she held it back. All this concentrating was making Ember very tired, but she knew the she-wolf was already hurt before and had to give up soon. Ever slowly began backing up every time the she-wolf got closer.

Scarlett was waiting not far from the group. Something caught her attention and made her look to the others. As a near fight broke out between the humans-wolf and the blood-coat she rose her head. A howl deeper than a normal alpha wolf pounded through her throat and vibrated over the land. The howl was to Subliminal (and the house-pet/beta) Get Here And Keep Loki Safe, the urgency clear in the sound. Her claws scratched the ground as she ran across it. Reaching the others she placed herself between the fighters. Unconcerned what caused the fight she would put it to an end before the pup was to be near the group again. Scarlett kept an eye on both with fangs bared. "Stop this." She may not be the alpha of this pack but she had been beta and raised pups in her life time. Grown wolves do not act like this unless there was a challenge issued. wolf_lord77 Just trying to get others back here. My Critical Acclaim Maybe say Jet wandered off on her own for awhile, so that when she is able to post she can be found again so you aren't left out as well.

All this concentrating was making Ember very tired, but she knew the she-wolf was already hurt before and had to give up soon. Ever slowly began backing up every time the she-wolf got closer. The sudden shift of pain from her leg to her jaw made her drop her blade, as the tendons seemed to be splitting from the bone- Just a trick, don't feel it, move- instead surged forward, planning to use her momentum to knock her mental attacker off her feet as she felt the inflicted agony scratch at her weakening mental barriers- It was through her sheer willpower alone and endless times of forced focus that made her press on. There was no time to wonder about how this abomination could infiltrate her mind, all thoughts shut out save for the need to take this abnormal wolf down, and quickly. Her bionetics flared with faint blue light, flooding her body with renewed strength even as the pain rippled anew with her heightened sensitivity making her vision spotty. Ready to shred her opponent apart with her fangs alone if needed, she sped like a flash of white lightning, closing the distance till she could see each individual hair flushed with blood- Twin-Tails suddenly dashed between them, her voice a snarl of reprimand. Her words were like static to Frost's ears, unintelligible, as adrenaline and a cool rage flooded her senses. However, she skidded to a stop, the glowing marks beneath her skin shutting off instantly and the energy flooded away. The pain faded from her jaw, as well as the almost robotic like track her mind had been taking. She had shown too much; they knew now she was not as they were, that she was...not normal. Silently, she cursed her lack of judgement in risking Overcharge during the heat of the moment. Absentmindedly she noticed that in their struggle, the little lizard had gotten away and some part of her was at least glad for that, since it seemed that she had indeed offended in some way the wolf culture and there was a very good chance they all might turn on her at this point. Silently, she evaluated the Blooded one, with eyes that revealed no emotion, and then the Twin-tails, waiting for their judgement and debating if she should just flee should their favor look like it was turning against her.

When Frost dropped the knife Ember smiled, then she kept advancing towards her. Ember was freaked out this wolf was breaking through her mind manipulation, it was like as if she knew that it wasn't real. When the wolf began to glow, Ember's blood reacted when she took her mind out of Frost's. The blood pelt became tentacles and waited ready for when the glowing wolf would attack. Suddenly the wolf was close up to her, but before either could do anything the wolf with two tail dashed in between them and told them to stop. Coming back to reality Ember calmed the blood and laid it flat in her pelt again, as Frost also stopped glowing. Ember dipped her head down and knew she had done something completely wrong, "Sorry." She grumbled to the wolf with two tail. But in truth Ember was mad at herself that she would go as far as to use her blood pelt like that.

[As Scarlett] Scarlett eyed the two wolves, one on each side of her. Ember seemed honest enough when she apologized. The bio-mutt however still seemed unable to understand. Being trained as the perfect pretty guard dog had some advantages. Though Scarlett was not able to speak perfectly she was able to make some human words, "Calm. u. sellf." Not perfect but it was difficult to produce human's sounds with a wolf's mouth.
[As Bullet] Bullet had dozed off as she laid beside Kuro. She was awoken to the strange sounds coming from Scarlett. Then she noticed the tension between the trio. Getting up she moved over to Ember and looked her over, she didn't seem damaged from a fight so hopefully it had only been a disagreement. "You all okay?" she looked to Frost as well but knew the wolf didn't understand the way the pack life worked. She tilted her head and gestured to the wolf with her nose, trying to see if she was okay too.
