Cy felt warmth slip through him again as she leaned against him, though this time for a different reason. Looking down at her petite form against his large arm, he smiled a little and watched her for a moment before lifting his eyes upwards once more.
"Well, just because I cannot go up there does not mean that I cannot get you a bed. I can find another one and bring it here. I can find other home comforts as well."

"That would be nice I think. if we are here for a while we need to make it our home. Don't you think?" She smiled up at him. And it was their home, she genuinely believed in that. Not her home but his too.

Cyrus glanced around at the space they had claimed as their living area and nodded.
"Yes. I think that would be nice. It will be nice to have a home again," he mused quietly. "How would you like for it to be set up? You tell me what to do and I will make it so."

Elora shrugged and looked around at the space.
"We could have a sleeping area there." She said, pointing to one area of the space. "Um and a living area here and then a kitchen and bathing part over through the alcove there."

Cyrus followed her hand as she described what she saw and nodded.
"Yes. I can bring in some curtains from the other rooms and we can use them as dividers and coverings," he mused and thought things over for a few moments. He would need to get the area nice and clean. He did not want her living in filth. That would be the first thing he would do. After a few moments, his mind began to wander and he looked down at their hands still joined together.
"Do you remember what it was like before things fell to pieces here?"

"You mean back when you were still with us?" She asked "Or just after you left? I remember the glory days and then ... things began to fizzle out. Factories closed, people stopped coming to us and things lost their shine. It was lonely. I missed the happiness and the positivity."

He wasn't entirely sure what he meant. He just wanted to hear her talk. He liked listening to her, even now when her voice was a bit weak from her damaged insides.
"I think I am a little glad that I was not here to see it fall apart. Albion was my lord's crowning glory. I'm not sure I could have been able to stand by and watch it crumble, helpless to do anything to stop it. Some how it is better to see it now, after the fact," he said softly and rubbed his thumb gently over the back of her hand.

Elora nodded, the times after the fading of their lord fresh in her mind. She could recall it all very clearly. The horror of watching the city waste away, of witnessing the ones she loved die.
"It was not a graceful end, though I suppose Albion was never graceful." She said softly. "Many left, many died, the fall was slow and painful for everyone. I suppose I should have left with them but ... I didn't know where to go. So it seemed easier to stay and meet my fate."

"I don't know. I think Albion had its graces," Cyrus smiled a little as he thought back to its heyday. "There's beauty in industry. The creation of new ideas, the intricacies of execution," he mused quietly. "What did you believe your fate to be exactly?"

Elora smirked a little and nodded. Yes she could see that. Albion had been a beautiful city. A true jewel in the crown of Industry.
"I suppose ... I am graceful or was and I am born of Industry."

Cy smirked and looked down at her.
"Grace does not always mean graceful movements. You are still a very graceful woman," he declared as he watched her pretty features and reached up a hand to gently move some of her hair from her face. "You are a beautiful woman Elora."

Elora smiled and looked up into his eyes, they were beautiful, she could spend forever looking into them.

Cyrus held her pretty blue eyes and brought his hand forward to rest it lightly against her cheek. He loved how it felt warm even though it was not flesh.
"I love you El," he said softly, the words spilling unchecked from his lips. He was not even entirely sure he had said them aloud, he felt so captured by her clear blue eyes.

Elora breathed in as he uttered words that she never thought she would hear. She smiled at him and placed her hand over the one that rested on her cheek.
"I love you too, really love you. More than anything or anyone I've met before."

Cyrus lifted his brows. He had not realized that she would feel the same way. He had never known anyone to care for him in that way. Searching her eyes for a moment, he felt himself smile and he leaned in to kiss her deeply.
