Melvin wasn't even going to ask why Rep had his glasses, thankful that he hadn't lost them or that they didn't wind up busted, and took them before placing them back on his head. It still felt a bit hard to see, and when he touched his eye, he knew that hot feeling wasn't good. He wished he had a mirror ...and hand sanitizer. This place was disgusting. Already his skin felt like it was crawling.

Holding his pounding head, he tried to think through the haze. "Call one of your guys or something. You've been in jail before. Ask a cop if we can borrow a phone. We're foreigners after all. It's not like we can give them an address or something. I'm sure they are used to it." He didn't have to give his real name, and it wasn't like they could. Their names were for dead people. The cops would either freak out or would think they were impersonating dead people. Stolen Identities or something like that.

"My head feels like s**t. I barely remember anything. I just want to lay dow -" He looked at the mattress. "Nevermind."

"I know I just. I really don't want to ******** call them. Ace used to be a polis and Jordan might be like how did you manage that?" For whatever reason, giant dragons weren't even remotely scary but the idea of a slight tone of disappointment in Jordan's voice was too much to bear. "We'll need to though I guess. Don't you have anybody you could call?" It was worth a shot, maybe Melvin was a social butterfly in his free time with rich Life division friends to bail them both out.

At Melvin's comment on wanting to lay down, Rep, cheering up in the face of other people's misery, flopped back onto it with a toothy smirk.

"Well you are free to join me man~"

Sometimes winding up Melvin was just more important than everything else.

"I know people, but not enough to bail me out. I just talk to you, sometimes Jordan..." Rin. "...and sometimes Jerry. Even then it's not like we're super best buddies." This was a complete mess. Who the hell could they even rely on. "Can't believe we can rely on people to watch our backs but not to get us out of jail."

Dragging his hand down his face, he looked over at Rep being smug on the bed. It was this d**k's fault. He dragged him out of the pod room and didn't tell him to stop drinking. Ugh, he should have just drank in his room or took a nap. He was no better off than he was before he started drinking. In fact it was worse.

And Rep was just being all smiles on the mattress. He deserved to have that ruined.

Knowing Rep's homophobia, he started to move over towards him. "Then make room, Pippi."

"We can rely on them to get us out of jail but not without judging the ******** out of us okay." he said glumly. Harrison and Jordan might not judge him at all, but it wasn't worth the risk. He'd been confident before, he wasn't confident now. Maybe they could call Jerry, Jerry would just show up and do what he was asked, he'd probably been in a few drunk tanks in his day.

There were a lot of things he expected that day, being murdered for being jailed, getting stern lectures on bad decisions, having Melvin think less of him than before. Any number of ******** things.

He didn't expect Melvin to call his bluff.

The result was what had to be the most startled look Rep had ever given the other man, absolute deer in the headlights, and he almost back-pedalled frantically, conceding that he was kidding and wasn't that funny. But pride said no. Pride said if he backed off Melvin won and he looked like a complete tit for trying to turn the situation in his favour and harass him.

So he moved over. Two could play the bluff calling game.

Melvin caught the look. It was hard not to when Rep went from reclined smug to looking like someone tossed icecubes down his boxers. Then, with a sort of rigid motion, he moved over.

Oh, so it was going to be like that. They had fought together in a damn bar and were in a jail cell, and he was STILL ******** around with him. What sort of ******** up friendship was this? Melvin, having already punched a good many number of people today than he had in the whole sum of his life so far, wanted to pummel the red-head for playing games at a time like this.

The cot creaked as Melvin sat, not looking at the man. The whole thing was gross. "Then maybe we should just call Jerry." He said with a defeated sigh. Of all the people they had to rely on, they were going to call a flustering man who dressed like a homeless person.

"Call the guard or something..." He would not win this little game, Rep. "...unless you want to cuddle?" Was now a good time to throw up?
PostPosted: Fri Apr 12, 2013 8:01 pm

Rep's resolve was like iron, a gauntlet had been thrown and he was determined for once in his life Melvin wasn't going to win. He wasn't going to feel two feet tall and in a bad mood fit to storm out of the cell in a huff. Despite the state of affairs, despite ******** up, getting drunk, getting ill and landing in this situation, he was actually in a good mood.

Good moods beat out bad ones every time.

"Aye we'll call Jerry, and I'll text the guys, whoever gets here first can bail us."

There was an edge of BlueRep in his expression as he grinned and purred. "Cuddle? Is that a request?" He'd snap, he was certain of it, he didn't even have his gloves and was being a hundred times more uptight than usual. "Because I'm no feart"

"Then hurry up already, unless you're getting a kick out of reliving the old days." More that this situation of who was going to chicken out first was quickly escalating, and he had hoped that by now Rep would have just jumped out of the cot and been done with this.

But he was good at big talk. Covering his mouth to hold back the crawling gag reflex that was seizing the back of his throat, he leaned back against the guy. Just the simple contact of spine to spine was enough to have him jump up and calling the quits, but he stayed.

"Unless you have your own request. I'm all ears." He continued, waiting for it. There was only so much their shared contact phobia could take.

It didn't help that he could feel Saliva's attention alert and focused on what was happening.
PostPosted: Fri Apr 12, 2013 8:29 pm

"Reliving the old days how? My old mates weren't as chicken as you." he stretched lazy and feline, better at pushing aside his natural repulsion when pride was at stake. Besides, Melvin wasn't a stranger in his eyes any longer, his skin didn't feel like it wanted to crawl away as it generally did just by being anywhere near him. He was in control, in a low place where he couldn't get any lower and where he was absolutely determined to have at least one victory to start his day.

It helped that he felt he knew Melvin enough to know how long the other man could hold out on a dare like this, in Rep's view of the odds there was no way for the blonde man to win.

The grin stayed, hardly wavering at all as the ante was upped still further. "You couldn't handle any other requests Goldilocks. I doubt your ability to even handle a cuddle. Probably better to not start writing checks you can't cash. Maybe you should just toddle along and get the guard~"

Repulsion was starting to be pushed aside by irritation and anger. He was in a gross cell, in JAIL, having used up one of his days on leave, and possibly in trouble if he was in here longer, for what? Rep dragged him out. He should have been a good wing-man and dragged him out of the bar before the entire place blew up. Better yet, he shouldn't have brought him to such a skeezy place as that pub. Now he was hitting on him when both of them knew that Rep had countless times said he was first and foremost loyal to his guys. Why was he even pretending?!

Raising his arm, he threw his elbow back to hit the ginger behind him. "Jail or not, I'm not your b***h. You use that lovely accent of yours to call the cop over. He'd probably understand you more."

To which he covered his mouth and leaned more into the ginger. "And I've handled more than you think. Two guys doesn't make you an expect, Gingersnaps." He said, voice slightly muffled. If he could keep the booze down, then he could win this. Ugh, his head felt horrible and all this wasn't helping. The cot was very small to boot.

Rep on the other hand felt like he'd spent a leave day on helping Melvin out. Sure it hadn't gone entirely to plan. They'd gotten a wee bit drunk, and a wee bit arrested but that just meant it had been a good night, the night wasn't complete until you ended up with a criminal record.

Being elbowed by Melvin made him laugh out loud, the whole situation funny from his smug and confident perspective. Once upon a time the blonde man wouldn't have dared hit him, even joking around. He put on as good an impression of Melvin's tone and accent as he possibly could and said. "I don't know what accent you mean. I only speak nerd."

And yet he wouldn't give up. He had to get points for tenacity, but as far as Rep saw it you didn't get awards for trying. In the long run he was only getting a runner up prize, not first place.

He took a lazy deep breath and exhaled. "Two guys isn't what makes me an expert Goldilocks. Two ******** attractive guys who have high standards and a lifetime working with professionals. Is what makes me an expert. I can please anyone, and that's no even bragging. It's fact."

The ante was getting upped, the game frankly entertaining to Rep, some of the lingering alcohol in his system just making it more funny. He reached over to pat the spot where Melvin's butt met his side. "Now stop talking a big game we both know you can't back up, b***h. Go get the guard."

If Melvin could hiss, he would be doing that right now. Revulsion, Anger, and Overwhelming Stubbornness that was this STUPID DAMN WHATEVER THIS WAS was making him want to grab his gun and fire into Rep's face until he couldn't even move his bleeding gums to say the word 'b***h.' Rep should have known that, considering he was the same man that called him a quitter for not hosting more parties only to have Melvin start working on one right away, Melvin didn't like the idea of quitting. This night was s**t, and being someone's cell b***h was not something he wanted to end it on.

The a** pat however had him about to jump up to the ceiling. ******** d**k!

He knew that he was at his limit, but he also knew he had one move in him before he just gave up.

He really didn't' want Rep seeing him every since this day as his cell b***h. The guy was already damn cocky enough because he could beat his a** in a spar. The Sun was too high on his little rock and needed to be humbled constantly.

His hand reached down to grip Rep's wrist, and then tensed because MELVIN FORGOT HE WASN'T WEARING GLOVES! That alone nearly had him throwing the white flag up in surrender. However, he took a breath. Just one move. Just one, and he'd win.

The cot creaked as he turned and leaned over Rep, steeling his expression and looking down at him as he leaned in. Rep had to stop him. He had to stop this. Get your god damn homophobia to kick in already, you stupid ginger ********/> "Who you calling a b***h, b***h?"

Rep was having an absolute ball, there was nothing he enjoyed more than winding people up, challenges and contests. He didn't know how close Melvin was to giving up, but he had to hedge his bets on it being close, he had more on the line with this standoff than Melvin did, the trick was just not letting the Life hunter realise it.

As his wrist was seized, his eyebrows shot up, only to lower again in that devious grin as he felt the tension in his grip, the instant of hesitation that said it wasn't a well thought out decision.

He wasn't expecting Melvin to push things further and was impressed, finally at the point where his skin shivered with goosebumps, the revulsion kicking in at the idea of Melvin even trying to dominate him. His relaxed posture tensed and he snarled, going from tolerant cat to feral thing in an instant. He twisted his hand to seize Melvin's wrist and haul it over his head, flipping his entire weight to pin him under him on the bed. He leaned in close, smirking, but some of the friendliness drained away.

"Don't ever ******** call me that unless you want me to prove why I'm no one's b***h."

He didn't let go, but his tone softened.

"Say sorry."

The physical contact was too much. The palm to skin contact had been his limit. Neither one of them were clean in any regard, both having been boozed up, and the environment was disgusting. Many people had slept here, from hobos to prostitutes to slobbish drunks. The whole place wasn't somewhere Melvin had control over, to know for sure was at least in some degree tidy. It made every part of him crawl, and when he was gripped and thrown down on the mattress, he felt his entire body seize up and scream.

A heavy weight straddled his body, and not only was it the physical contact that he hadn't first given approval and permission, but that it was connected to a person who probably knew him at least slightly better than anyone else on the entire island. It turned his stomach.

Dominance was not something he was familiar with or tolerated. He didn't get ******** with. He tended to ******** with other people, but he only excelled in this realm when it came with words. That was his playground, but the game had been tossed into the physical. That was Melvin's greatest mistake, as he was the least skilled in it. Without controlling or giving the commands, and instead bringing the game into a gripping violence, he should have known he would have lost.

Bright Blue eyes wide, he winced from the pain in his wrist, and as all alarm bells signaled a meltdown, he tossed the game aside for mental preservation. He was going to throw up, and it was coming on fast.

His free hand went to punch the Sun off of him before he tossed his stomach out in his face.

Rep was used to overpowering people, being in a smug world where he held all the aces. People as a rule submitted, only people like Sasha had ever dared stand up to him when he was in his most predatory frame of mind.

He didn't have Melvin down as a fighter, he figured the guy would freak out and cry uncle pinned to a bed, his bluff well and truly called.

He didn't expect to be punched. He didn't expect it at all and the Life hunter's fist collided with his nose with a smack that he would be right to be proud of. Rep reeled back to his feet with an incoherent sound of pain, hands to his nose, shaking his head as if somehow that would dislodge the absolute blinding agony that blossomed across his face, tracing old fractures and mends that pre-dated Tracey's ability to mend. It was one of the few types of pain he found intolerable, impossible to channel into the thrill he drew from any other sort.

Slumping dramatically against the wall with a slap of skin on wall, he slid down to sit on the floor, still holding his nose. "You little s**t." he said, but there wasn't an enormous of malice in it, more surprise. He gave Melvin a vivid blue stare across the room whenever he was fit to return his attention to Rep, wiping away blood from his nose and spitting blood to the floor. It mended fast, but it still hurt like a b***h. He sniffed huffily, making sure it had stopped and looked set to get to his feet and give the man a retaliatory thrashing.

Instead he started laughing and simply couldn't stop. It wasn't even derisive.

He wasn't very good at throwing a punch, and it was more frantic hitting to make sure Rep's big form got off than actually targetting any vital points. Fighting was not in his nature and he pretty much made sure not to make a fool of himself by even attempting to throw a punch. He comforted himself in that the only way he could win any masculine points was with his brain and that he'd loose them in a actual brawl.

What mattered now was that Rep was off, and at the second of space given to get free, Melvin was up on his feet and moving over to the toilet that, luckily, was clean enough not to make Melvin want to throw up more. That didn't mean he even get any where close to touching any part of it. Instead, he pressed his hands to the wall and threw up. Degrading as it was to throw up to a hunter above rank than him, he couldn't keep his shaky composure up under these extreme circumstances. Polar bears drooling on his head had nothing on jail slum mattress and Rep topping.

Once Melvin was sure there was nothing left in his stomach, he went to the sink to wash his hands and wrists and just try to keep his hands from shaking, wiping his mouth with cold water. "You're such an a*****e." He managed, his voice strained and raw.

Rising his mouth with the gross water and frowning when he noticed his listerine strips were taken, he then washed his face from the cold sweat created from throwing up. He needed a shower and a toothbrush more than life itself.
