Sadly, Endy and her writer had nothing to do with Kettil's case of stupid.
Kettil grunted and wiggled his hands underneath Freya.
"He already has a ring." She said suddenly feeling vindicated.

Freya needed to listen to those little voices more often.
The sudden intake of breath was audible, and impossible to stop. She stared at the owl, frozen with the lack of response, and barely felt Kettil's hands underneath her. She should have just.. just..
She didn't know what to say anymore.

Kettil cringed a little. She was quiet. Too quiet.
"Freya?" He tried to get her to say something, anything.
The Owl huffed lightly, "See? Unfair, right?"

The sound of her name on his lips startled her back to life, and she turned, just in time to realize she was going to have to face him. So she stopped, and turned back to Endy. Maybe the moment could be saved..
"Ach, yes, unfairs. Yeh should goes, and finds me a rings, right now Endy. Right now, finds me anything that can goes on my finger, and if yeh asks me, I am yehrs." Her heart was stuttering, beating a mile a minute, but she tried to sound light and upbeat. It really wasn't working.

Endy knew everything. Everything but where he had put the ring. It was as if he had somehow blocked it from her memory or it was during a moment when she not as aware of her Reaper's actions. Either way.
She took wing and suddenly began poking around in his things.
"Don't want to marry me, eh?" Kettil asked with a raised eyebrow. It was starting to wear him down.

Freya winced when she heard it.
She turned, this time forcing herself to look at him, though her eyes had trouble staying up when they saw his. It hurt to look at him, when he thought things like that. Things that were entirely her fault.
A sharp sigh, and Freya's face turned red with an embarrassed blush. Her words were very quiet, hard to hear whispers. "Of course I wants teh married yeh, Hooter. I just wanted the moment teh be right.. and I think I just ruined it, didn't I."

Each time he asked she would giggle.
Each time he asked she would demand a ring.
Each time he asked there was essentially a no.
Kettil was a good sport but he was also seeing a trend. Part of him felt she would simply find a new excuse each time, even if he got the ring. Now he had it. Endy had exposed that much of the truth and ...
The boil seemed to brighten a little bit when she said 'of course' and then she observed that she had ruined it. Kettil let out a small chuckle, "...What was there to ruin? It wasn't like I meant to show it to you like this, I wanted to ... ask in a song...It isn't ready yet..."

Freya whined at the revelation. "Yeh seee? I DID ruins everythings. Yeh even had plans.. PLANS! And I has teh be nosy and keeps asking and - Endy, Endy where are yeh, stops looking. I don't deserves a ring from anyone, right now."
Freya was adequately shamed. She wanted to just curl up and mourn her stupidity for a while.

Kettil just took her face in his hands, "You didn't ruin anything."
At least he wasn't angry at her. Maybe he was a little sad but he wasn't angry.
Endzela sensed a change in the mood and returned but this time she sat on her perch with a rubber band hanging from her claw. "...Hmm?"
Even though his Owl had caused this, he couldn't bring himself to be mad at her either. Kettil was now sitting amongst two of his favorite ghouls unable to be even the tiniest bit annoyed at either of them.

Freya peeked a glance up at the owl, saw what she was holding, and then curled up again. A second later, she double taked, and straightened to stare at Endy's claws. She'd.. actually..
Freya's giggle was weak, but at least it was there. She held her left hand out for Endy..!

Endzela was about to gladly place the 'ring' on Freya's finger but stopped short when suddenly Kettil started to open his mouth and sing.
"I'm not a very good cook. But I learned how just for you. And I am a little bit messy but I'd clean up my mess for you. I cause a lot of mischief, but I'll ask you to join me, too. I'll do it all if you'll say 'I do'." Kettil reached over toward his nightstand, the one place Endy didn't look and produced a small box.
"I like to play a lot fun games, but I'd like to play them all with you." He grinned slightly, "And when you get dressed up, I get bored, but I always will wait for you. I Don't get what that accessory is for. Cause I'm atop of the world with you, but I'll do it all if you please say I do..."
He opened the box in order to show her the ring at this point, "Please say 'I do', there's nothing more that I'll ask of you. Please say 'I do'. After you say it, then I will, too. Please say you do, do, do, do, do~. And it'll be - be just - just us ... three," he gave a sharp peer over at Endzela, "I'll do it all if you'll please say, 'I do'."
"You'll never have to be lost. I'll always help you find your way. And I will be your wings, so that you can always fly. I'll do all that I can, to make things easier for you. I'll do it all if you please say, 'I do'."
"I know I'm not quite the serious type, but I know it's in me to be. And if you say yes, to this question, I'll ask, I'll be all that you need~," He finished softly. (Semi-'Covered' from/Credit goes to: This Dude)

Kettil's voice always had a way of catching Freya's attention, no matter where she was, or what she was doing. But it wasn't his voice that got her this time, it was the slow, and heart gripping realization that he'd already said he was going to propose to her in a song. An unfinished song, and yet..
Every single lyric he sang was just for them. He'd learned how to cook, because she needed him to feed her, to save her, to keep her alive. He'd tolerate her obsession with clothes, just because it meant being with her. And Endy.. When he looked at her, Freya finally broke, letting out a choked sob as all of her emotions welled to the surface. He wanted to keep her from being lost - he wanted to be her wings. He didn't realize.. he already was all of these things.
He'd given her no choice but the right one.
And of course, when she finally looked at the ring, she broke down into a whole new set of tears. It was the exact ring she'd chosen when they'd gone into town, while visiting his family. He'd remembered after all this time..
Freya was going to die of heartache at this rate.
But the song had stopped, and Kettil sat there, holding the little ring in its box out to her, waiting.. waiting.. waiting for the right moment.
It was here.
"Yes." After a hundred no's, it felt so good to finally answer that question the way she'd wanted to from the very beginning. "Yes. Yes. YES!" She flung herself at him, all but forgetting the ring in favor of hugging her boilfriend - no. Her fiancee.
That was the moment.

Kettil let out a startled sound as his arms wrapped around her and hugged her close. He nearly dropped the box and ring as well but he managed to keep a firm hold on it. Finally a yes. He gave out a short laugh as he planted a firm kiss on her lips.
"Good. I was running out of ways to ask you," he teased lightly.
Endzela let out a small hoot of approval. Good. She was starting to think she was going to steal Freya away for real.

His teasing just made her burst into tears all over again. She couldn't control herself, anymore. She just wanted to cry and scream and laugh and sing and - kiss. Yes, she realized as he planted a kiss on her lips, she wanted to kiss. So she leaned in and stole a dozen more, peppering them against his lips. She sniffed, and pressed her forehead against his.
"It was perfect." She'd never forget this moment, as long as she lived.

He returned each little kiss as best as he could as a hand reached up and he wiped away some of her tears with a bit of a chuckle, "Gimme your hand, Túkut," he beamed at her.
Kettil wanted to explode from happiness but thankfully he managed to just barely keep himself contained and in one piece. He was glad that she had given up the notion that she had 'ruined everything'. To be honest he wasn't sure how or when he was going to try again.
In a sense Endy had forced him to act.
