Upon feeling that the muck soothed the wounds, Athan plunged his entire arm into the cauldron. He sighed out of relief when the burning sensation finally left, but then his fingers grazed up against something strange.
His hand closed around the object, and he lifted it up out of the muck to gaze upon it.
"Huh..."
He looked around for a moment, watching as the crowd quickly dashed away from the acid-filled streets.
He held his hand aloft over his head. His vest and shirt had been burned completely away from the left pectoral on, leaving his flesh bare. Of course, they were also covered in foul-smelling muck. The tooth was jammed into the pocket of his jeans moments later, and Athan headed over to retrieve his sword.
He sniffed his arm and gagged.
"Almost as bad as the cat..."
He shuddered at the memory.
The people of Barton would have his gratitude, but he couldn't vocally express it currently. They were all either running away from being burned or just running from the smell.
"Now what to do with this?"
He looked at the cauldron for a moment before picking it up with a grunt and doing the people of Barton a service. He was going to dump out the contents and then put it some place where the foul odor didn't really bother anyone too much.
After that, he was going to take the longest shower of his entire life.

((Life does not allow for steady RPing. Rage has been accompanying Owle when I'm not online [and vice-versa, really]... so if anyone has issues with this, please let me know so that I can ignore you.))
Still somewhat hampered from the energy loss and general achiness of all she had been through, Rage turned around only to find that Owle had gone completely missing. Lovely. At least she had a shirt on again, even if it was still wet and didn't fit at all.
But, still... Owle was gone. That, Rage decided, was a bad thing. Owle! Where the hell are you?! she sent, hoping for a response.
Somehow, the guy dumping some sort of foul liquid all over the place didn't seem to even register with her.

I don't know! Owle sent back. About to fall on some guy's head! In a really fancy looking house or something!

Too bad, the caldron didn't empty. It remained, boiling and curdling as it did so. But it would not empty.

Fancy looking house...? Couldn't be in Barton. The place was too rural. Probably not in Durem, since that place seemed almost exclusively industrial. Aekea felt way too new-age, so that could really only leave....
Gambino! Rage sent without realizing it. Wondering what to do about the sickly liquid that was slowly drowning out the area, Rage ducked into an alleyway, doing wallkicks until she reached the roof. From there, it was rooftop to rooftop as she headed North.

Well, so much for that idea. No matter what he did, it just stayed inside the cauldron. He planted the cauldron on the ground, looking around for a brief moment. Not much to do but head away now.
The cauldron had served its purpose, the smell was far too powerful for his tastes, and lugging it around would just draw a lot of attention. He hefted it up, carried it over to a nearby alleyway (nobody would notice the smell too much beside two dumpsters), and then headed Northeast, towards the Fountain.
At least he'd be able to get rid of the muck on his arm there. Then he'd come back and set about figuring out what to do with the damn cauldron.

How the hell could I have dropped it? I had it right with me.
By the time he had reached the guild sector, Athan was in a mad dash towards the alleyway he had left the cauldron in. There weren't very many people nearby, as most that were present in the area had decided to flee once the acid washed out into the streets. Most of it was gone by now, but they didn't want to take any chances.
Athan, meanwhile, had just lost the one thing he didn't want to lose.
He rounded the corner and dashed into the alleyway, stepping in between the two dumpsters, he sure hoped that the cauldron was still there.

The caldron was there alright, but the liquid had started to glow a bright purple color. And by bright, we mean rainbow ******** bright...as in being a poster child for gay pride bright . People would be going to doctors complaining of purple spots for weeks. And around the caldron was scattered several teeth.

He tilted his head to the side. Something was definetly odd about the whole thing. He scooped up the teeth around the base of the cauldron, then, out of cheer curiousity, dropped them into the extremely bright substance.
He prepared himself for a bright flash or something, although he was already shielding his eyes from the cauldron to begin with.

The minivan rolled up, Charles, Stryphe, and the Maids exiting. "There," he said, motioning to what was left of the giant plant, "pretty flower is no more. My foot hurts, too."

The girls sulked in Charlie's direction, or would have if it had not been so blindingly ******** bright. "What's that..." pointing over towards the source of the bright light.
Meanwhile, at the caldron, the teeth began glowing purple too. And floating in the bubbling brine and then dissolving...and then more teeth appeared next to the caldron.

"Really good question," he said as he approached the bright cauldron. Charles raised his arm to shield the light as he approached.
"This is a pretty swell party," he said to the other person there. "What kind of soup you making?"

Well, that was pretty pointless. Obviously the teeth had no real purpose to the whole thing. Regardless, he shoved each of the teeth into his pocket, and then pulled the cauldron up from the ground once more with a slight grunt.
"Guh...this is just a pain in my a**."
He spun around upon hearing the voice.
"Hey pal...you're one of the guys from the fountain, right?"
He nodded his head.
"Like I said, just cleaning up after the flower mess."

A four leged robot aproached the van, moving quite like a spider. It was looking for revenge...
It leveled its missle launchers at the van... KAPOING! A salvo of missiles... tiny, orange, and plastic missles.
Moments later the van's tire crushed the tiny toy version of Arteliry.

Charles looked down at the cauldron. Things like this always had significance around here....
"What are you going to do with that?" he asked, pointing at the cauldron.
