Owle Isohos

"Hard to believe," Owle answered, before she could stop herself. No. She couldn't be arguing with Sarielle right now.

It wasn't a trivial argument. But it wasn't a relevant one, either. And it wasn't like Owle remembered why she felt so strongly. So they could debate the relative purity of angels another time, when their lives weren't being threatened and love interests weren't being eaten by dragons or possibly going to be sentenced to eternal damnation. If she lived to see that time.

"Rand is a child. He's never served the gods. I believe that Angel won't harm Rand, though...I'll even believe that he's a good person. That's enough for me."

Sarielle was of half a mind to shut Owle out. She was good at that, she'd discovered with the return of her memories. How it had frustrated Felix...

But she'd leave thoughts of his venomous words and casual inflictions of pain for later. Owle did at least acknowledge Angel wouldn't harm Rand...and if Sarielle were truly honest, that's all she could guarantee as well.

Alright. It was good enough for her, as well. I'll make my way toward you then, and hope I can catch up. Owle's thoughts seemed to have drifted elsewhere, anyhow.

Northeast it was then. Squinting at the sky, Sarielle tried to judge which direction that was. That way, surely? Where the dirtbike had disappeared to?

It certainly wasn't desire to catch up with the driver that lead her astray. No, of course not...

Good luck, Owle said. And if you need my help, you just have to ask me.

She knew Sarielle didn't have the best opinion of her just now, and she was the only one to blame for it. Why did she have to open her big...thought making thing?

The demon was getting a very evil idea, it seems, as it flew through the gate, and into Barton Town proper. Every building, every tree, every statue, roof, or other barrier was now getting a taste of Marg, as the demon made sure to give him a few love taps with the terrain as they flew through the town.

Marg heard the demon growl something, something ominous, something that scared the man.

Suddenly, he was no long playing around, winging as fast as possible to the northeast. Towards Barton Northgate, towards his real 'target'.

It wasn't extremely difficult for him to slip into the residential area next to Barton's west gate. Hardly anyone seemed to give him a second glance, and he took the complete lack of suspicion as a sign that his luck was finally changing.

Athan continued on his way, walking the streets as normally as he could.

Why does this place look so familiar?
Kit was still following, still in his fox form, it was kinda cute in a way.

With that thought, Kit fox-trotted away to the fountain, whether or not Athan wanted to follow was all up to him.

The little fox had turned towards the fountain, leaving Athan with a decision. He could either follow what had been, up until that point, his partner in crime. Or split up and head out on his own path.

Ultimately his decision came to pass that it was better to work alone. Whether or not his odds in a fight would work out to his advantage wasn't much of an issue anymore. The Tyr Kana in his blood was beginning to show a little.

He headed Southeast, towards the Red Light district.

At least he wouldn't be bothered by cops amongst all the crime and villainy.

This is pointless... Kit thought, walking through the west gate, Gaia was too big, he was on his own again.

Who knows, he could find someone else to bother...

I should find a little girl or someone like that to walk me around, I'm tired! Kit thought again, sitting on the ground for a bit. If he could frown he would, his tiny legs were exhausted.
I'll rest at the field up ahead...
The prospect of sleeping in an open field seemed dull, but it sounded comforting at the very least.

Hold on Owle, I'm coming for 'ya, thought Rage as she hopped from rooftop to rooftop. Eventually she ran out of roofs to jump to, and returned to the streets with a hard thud, scaring several people and a penguin with a rifle.

For the moment, she decided to stop before moving on, ducking into a nearby house completely uninvited.

Flying out a second-story window (if you can call a haphazard leap flying), Rage was sporting some new clothes once again. This time it was a fluffy pink cotton shirt and some baggy but comfortable overalls, perfect for moving in but not overly in-the-way... and with enough room that Rage could still wear them if the fates decided to play another mean trick and change him back to normal.

Landing on the neighboring house's lawn, he jumped the fence and returned to the streets to head to Barton North Gate.

The mini-van holding our heros and milk maids drove on through.

Straight to the Upper Fields of Barton. Maids dig cows.
