"Well you were speaking fine and then you got all quiet.." As Queen of Misery this week Junko was finding a suddenly quiet voice meant bad news.

"Oh. Nothing is wrong," he said while blinking. Shun was just a fairly quiet guy to begin with. He wasn't aware that speaking a little more softly signified anything really.

Junko frowned. "Oh, okay. Well...if..if something is bothering you don't hold it in, okay? It...it can really..it can...overwhelm you a-and make you do stupid things. So..you can talk to me if you have no one else to talk to, okay?" Where was this even coming from? Junko played with her hair for distraction and gave a sudden little laugh. "Don't mind me! I'm just kind of tired. I think I'm going to take a nap and then I'll start on this kimono, okay?"

Shun eyed Junko for a moment as she started to blather on about not keeping stuff in all of the sudden.
"Are you in such a position yourself?"
She did seem stressed, after all.

She opened her mouth to answer, closed it again, opened it again, and finally snapped shut one last time. Junko sighed and shook her head. "Kind..of..? I...um." She scratched her cheek. "D-don't, like, spread it around, okay? I...I broke up with Seiji.." She waited for it. She waited for the tears, for the unbearable pain in her chest that made it impossible for her to breathe.
It didn't come, not as strongly as it usually did. The pain was there but it was mild for now.
Junko breathed another sigh and an involuntary laugh followed. "It didn't end well. So I...this is really good for me, trust me. Thank you for asking me to do this." Her smile was sincere, as were her words. She would be okay. Eventually she could learn to tolerate the pain.

While he waited for an answer, Shun stood by patiently to see what Junko had to say. his good eye widened a little for just a moment as she brought up that she had broken up with Seiji. He didn't know the guy all too well, but he did recall him hanging around her a few times in the past. Taking this in, it made sense as to why she seemed to be stressed. He recalled how Lizzy was when she had broken ties with Mac... both times.
"I see..." he murmured, still thinking this over, "That would explain a few things. Though if you're certain about taking this job, then very well. Do try to take care though."
He paused for a moment, thinking.
"Is there anything you'd like to get out then?"
She had offered to him that she would listen if he needed to vent. It was only fair that he do the same.

Junko gave a nod. "I'm certain~."Though the question was thought provoking. Did she have anything she wanted to get out? Right at this second? She felt..okay. Junko would be okay. "Not right now." She answered honestly, giving Shun a smile. "I..I think I'm okay. Thank you, Shun."

"Very well," he nodded, "Then I will be on my way. Take care, Junko."Shun nodded once more with that, then turned to head on out of the room.
