It was perfectly clear that the waiter was flirting now. Jason could not miss the wink her way, and the fact that the waiter was still here even after they had given their orders. This went far beyond a friendly conversation. Or, he was just over thinking it. 'like what, take him outside and beat him up?' 'Of course! Proclaim that Solia is your girl, and no one but you gets to sex her up'
Jason was far from taking the fallen angels advice, and Solia didn't seem to be interested in him anyway. Well, apart from that blush...but women do that anyway! At least he thought as much.
And the talk about hot buns? "Oh..er, y-yeah. Hot buns are nice." That..wasn't a innuendo...no, couldn't be.

Part of Solia knew that the waiter was just trying to hard, but another part of her, (the Israfel part), thought that this whole MalexMale rivalry was a good thing. Picking at the bread, it was hard to ignore the feeling of eyes that didn't belong to Jason on her. It was like every time she looked up, there he was, smiling, a cocky little smirk that teased the fact she was on a date and just- "Mhmmm." Was all she could respond with. Silent pervaded, and Solia just kept nibbling at the warm bread. Could things get any worse? Oh wait, yes, the could. The waiter came back, no food in had, and more than casually leaned on the table. " Alors, êtes-vous montrant ce gars autour de ou?" His eyes went to her chest only briefly before returning to her face. " Parce qu'il semble une jolie chose comme vous pourriez faire beaucoup mieux que cela américain." Solia didn't know how to handle his boldness, an awkward chuckle leaving her as she tried to think of ways to dissuade him. "Il est mon ami, je n'ai pas été en France depuis très longtemps, donc il m'a pris ici comme une date." He laughed, shaking his head. "Un ami eh? Eh bien, si vous voulez plus d'un ami à la fin de ce dîner ..."It was bold, his hand sliding a small folded paper towards her as he stood up. Man to man, the waiter gave Jason a smug look before walking away. A nervous laugh, she looked to Jason, picked up the paper, blushed, then went back to picking at her bread.

Jason was not good at this kind of thing. In actual fact, he had no idea what he was doing, so the fact there was someone who was flirting with his girlfriend right in front of him had him very flustered indeed. Of course he had Zanth in his head shrieking at him to tell him to ******** off, but it was hard to do so when the guy was obviously speaking French and not English. How did one say ******** off in French anyway? Indecision gnawed at his mind, Obviously displeased by the whole affair and wishing he knew just what the hell they were saying. And when it looked like he had enough and was going to do something about it, the guy gave her a piece of paper, and walked off. A piece of paper.. <...Wow, the balls on this guy...> The moon trainee glared at the waiter as he disappeared, looking back to Solia and the paper, the one which she wasn't throwing away. Why wasn't she throwing it away, she couldn't..possibly be considering calling this guy?
He didn't say anything to her for now, and decided to just pick at the rest of the buns.

Looking to Jason, Solia kept shuffling in her chair. He didn't look like he was enjoying the dinner, and they had yet to be served even. It was her fault wasn't it? It probably was. she didn't pick at her bread, letting it sit untouched on her plate. Israfel was huffing, saying how Jason should at least be attempting a mating dance, but he wasn't and this he wasn't trying very hard. Solia just saw it that she was not very good for company or conversation. Eyes flicking up to him, they fell back down as food arrived, the waiter giving her a wink and going as far as motioning for her to follow him out and away. When she didn't move, the man gave Jason a sneer. Coughing and managing a "Comment avez-vous obtenez même une fille comme elle?" Solia looked up slightly shocked as the man went further. "Fossé de ce type.Viens avec moi, je vais vous montrer un bon moment." Solia's jaw dropped not sure what she'd just heard. The contempt in his tone followed by the pure... perverted nature of what he asked- Brown eyes looked to Jason while the waiter reached out to take her with.

Oh, finally, they had been served the first course. Though part of him was wondering if the waiter had spat in his food just to spite him, but for the most part he was fuming over the guy's behavior toward Solia. His normally awkward and polite demeanor was being replaced with a...awkward and obviously annoyed demeanor. Which quickly moved up to, 's**t is getting real', as the guy plainly motioned for her to follow him. He flinched as Zanth yelled in his head to do something, but for now he didn't. But neither did she, and he felt relieved. Perhaps she didn't want to go with him at all. Jason then saw her shocked expression over...something he said. probably something against him judging by the tone. His own expression widened into shock when he saw moved towards her with his hand reached out. In a flash, he had stood up, moved around the table, and grabbed the guys arm. "Excuse me, but I would greatly appreciate it if you would focus on your job instead of trying to get my girlfriend into your bed." Was he intimidating? most likely not, but for a lack of pretending he at least had a really strong grip on the waiters arm; a result of spending hours swinging his weapon and not wanting to let go save he got mauled or something.

Solia didn't expect a lot of things. She expected a nice, romantic dinner. She expected maybe to curl up next to Jason after dinner and just listen to him breathing, enjoy the feeling of being next to him. She didn't expect France, five stars, or a waiter that very clearly had no professionalism. She also didn't expect Jason to stand up and take charge like her did. Solia liked it. Israfel was cheering how now they would fight and she'd know which was the better suited and how- Solia ignored a lot of what Israfel said on the matter at hand. The waiter grunted, trying to pull his arm free, giving Jason a dirty look before sending a perverted one to Solia. " Ce genre de gars que vous aimez? Rugueux? Je peux faire rugueuse si c'est ce que vous voulez." Solia's face was beet red as she shook her, looking to Jason. " Baiseur américain stupide." This to Jason. Standing, Solia went around the table, going to Jason's side. Not touching, but standing, unease in her face. "Jason... please don't hurt him. Don't get into trouble because of me."

Jason's free hand might have been curling into a fist, but he was well aware that it would be a really stupid thing to punch a waiter in a restaurant. The very last thing he wanted was to have himself and Solia escorted outside due to violence. So he relaxed, though his grip on the waiter did not, nor did it relent even as he tried to pull free. As he said something to his girlfriend, the moon trainee moved to grab him by the cuff of his shirt. "Are you quite done yet?" Now the moon trainees tone was lower, his eyes narrowed as the waiter still didn't get the picture. He could tell what the waiter was saying thanks to the words, which sounded somewhat English, and his grip tightened. Zanth had quietened down, and was now giving all sorts of advice on what he should do with this guy. He chose to listen to Solia instead, roughly turning the guy around and shoving him forwards. "If you don't get your a** moving, then you'll see what a 'American b*****d' can really do.'

Solia shuffled awkwardly in place as she thought Jason really would punch the waiter. The second Jason let the waiter go, she was there, pressing up to his back, hugging him, muttering apologies, that she was sorry she'd ruined dinner. "It's my fault, I should have realized it sooner. We can go. I don't think they would be too mad. And we could just explore the city and- and-" Brown eyes looked up at him before she pressed face to body. Israfel huffed. "......................" "If he didn't back down, what would you have done?"

As soon as the guy was gone, Jason seemed to deflate, sighing as he ruffled his own hair, glancing nervously around at the other patrons, who were giving him either frightened or annoyed looks. Damn, he really didn't want to be thrown out of a French restaurant. He felt the warm embrace of his girlfriend from behind, and he felt his ears heat up. Perhaps he had taken it too far? She sounded very upset, judging from the man apologizes she was giving. A hand clasped hers, aiming to give her reassurance. "You don't need to apologize. I should have done something sooner instead of letting it drag out, instead of letting you have to put up with that....Baiseur" Whatever that word meant, but he was sure it was a insult. "You haven't ruined anything, I can assure you." Gently he undid her hold on his waist, so he could turn around and return the embrace. "We can still stay here, theres still the main course. But if you want to leave, then it's fine." Her next question had him slightly unnerved. He was not a violent person in the least, but in that situation... "Well, I don't think it would of gotten into a full on fist fight." He replied. "Most likely I would have called the manager or something. And hope he speaks english."
