"Belladonna!" The zomboil's voice held more then just a hint of relief when the witch made her entrance. He had worried about his friends just as much as he was trying not to worry about Yin. "Glad to see that you're okay. Is Mor----"

The zomboil didn't even get to finish his sentence when his zombro arrived on the scene as well, and yet more relief coursed it's way through him. Funny how it always seemed to be the three of them together in some predicament or another.

Mort's command was met with a grim look of determination and a nod. These creatures needed to be stopped. The shadowlings needed to be destroyed.

It'd be easier to do if they didn't all leave.

WAIT! THEY ALL LEFT! THAT WAS GO---

Oh no wait, they were all back again. Still, feeling better now that his friends had arrived, the zombie staggered towards the larger versions of the shadowlings, and began pummeling them with his fists. It took a lot of pummeling, but he managed to dissipate two of them, which was better then falling on his a** again.

The ghost shook himself off, snow and ice falling harmlessly to the ground. "Help is always appreciated."

Since the witch had absolutely no qualms with sticking close to Mort, she hung back from him, though she did jump a excitedly when Gene hugged her. But the excitement couldn't last long, not with those pesky little dark monsters roiling around like they were. For a moment they seemed to retreat, but Belladonna only frowned at them and wasn't one bit surprised when they came back. Things never went that easy! It just wasn't done!
"Well! I suppose that's just that." With a flourish the witch tossed out her cards, rather wishing that didn't have to be the way this was to go, but there seemed no other alternative. Careful to give Mort and Alexander room, but still keep rather close, the witch happily decimated a little shadowling.

With a punch to the air she turned and blinked at the dragon. Oh! So that was what Jericho normally looked like when he wasn't either a raging dragon or an elf. Fancy that.
"Hi Jericho!" The witch called with a bright smile a energetic wave to the boil. It was so nice to see him feeling well enough to fend off nasty creatures! What a happy ending to that tale!

He jumped a bit at the sound of his name, turning his head to Gene with a blink. "Oh, ah, 'lo there," he greeted with a small mrr of surprise at the hug. "K-Keep up good work? Noticed has shapeshifting down better than before." It was one of those moments where when he fell out of concentration things moved too fast, and he didn't have much time to return the ghost's hug before she moved on (though he did try).

Ah, so this was what Jericho normally looked like. Mort had only ever seen him infected prior to the whole dragon wrangling business. . . . Wait, that was a bad thought to follow. Crap. Crapcrapcrap no whispers stop stop it now was not the time to be thinking about the future - Luckily more targets showed up to distract the moody zomboil, and with the dragon catching the worst sent at Gene and Frost, he could concentrate once more on protecting the other two. With a growl he slammed Thor against several shadowy guts, hissing as they turned their attention towards him and attacked.

"G-Got you covered, move in!" he called to the two. "Bells, try Fear." He knew of its . . . way of doing pretty well if he got involved. Thankfully not as the target this time.

Victoria beamed at the cat-eared boil, giving him a brief curtsy as she nodded, "I will help all I can, Sir Cat! Matron told me that helping others will make me a good ghoul!"

And she's a good ghoul.

"Why would you want to pound-" She paused, her lips forming an 'o' as she watched the dragon fight, her eyes widening in awe at all the fighting that was going on around them; Matron might not approve of such physical violence, but it was sure exciting to watch, "Ah I see! You did not mean it literally, Sir... Jericho?" She was pretty sure that was the name he introduced himself with.

Making sure to dart out of harm's way as much as possible, Victoria tried not to get in the way... Until she saw someone who made her face lit up.

"Big sister Belladonna!" The ghost raised an arm into the air, and started to wave, "It is I, Victoria!" It had been a while since they last chatted, and a small part of her was worried that the witch might had forgotten about her. As she made her way to Belladonna and her friends, the ghost couldn't help but notice that there was a fellow ghost in the group who had been attacked earlier; although she was not being protected by Jericho, maybe she could finally be of help to someone!

"Hello, Miss," She smiled, curtsying before putting her hands on Gene's arm, and transferring some of her fear over. Thankfully, despite her lack of confidence, the healing worked, "You looked like you could use some help... I hope you do not mind."

Unfortunately, as soon as she was done, one of the shadowlings saw the opportunity to attack, and scratched her on her arm. Startled, Victoria yelped, and darted behind the ghost she just helped out. She then peeked out at the shadowling and gave it her best frown of disapproval.

At first, Tess thought it was over. The shadowlings were leaving them alone! Oh, oh no... nope. Apparently not. The ghoul was not amused by this, and, once again was about to simply leave things to the others. They were doing a rather remarkable job of it after all but then West went and volunteered to ward off the encroaching shadowlings for her. And she wasn't about to let his efforts go to waste. "Thank you, West," she nodded to the demon boil. Giving the other ghoul as encouraging a smile as she could, the undead ghoul suddenly severed in order to swoop at a number of the shadowlings.

Legs, on the other hand, stayed right the ******** where she was. And maybe rapidly tapping out her displeasure about the whole situation. In Morse code.

Drat, she hadn't summoned enough FEAR.
Concentrating, she tried again, pausing as another boil offered his protection.
Such gentleboils. She gave him a nod, and tried to focus. She really shouldn't put their efforts to waste.

Legs decided this was the perfect time to have an argument with herself. And by herself the lower half meant Tess. Which meant the ghoul's attention and concentration was elsewhere.
