Ok stupid creature that were now proceeding to crawl all over him as he laid on the floor in his misery. You were getting... the Thrain Frowny Face Special. Ooooooohhhhh kaaaay. That.... Well, actually he wasn't trying anymore so it really couldn't be counted as a failure if he didn't really try, now did it? No, it didn't. So he couldn't honestly be that upset about it. But he was, and it wasn't going to stop anytime soon. Neither were these creatures if he didn't hurry up and get out of the room... Since Thrain was already on the ground, bemoaning his failure as a Horseman and a Guardian and all things good and manly and capable of fighting, he figured that rolling around in anguish would help. Somehow he'd managed to roll around enough to actually destroy a few more shadowy creatures. Awesome. But Thrain knew it couldn't last. He was destined to be stuck in Shaheen's half eaten house, surrounded by shadow creatures for eternity. It was just his cruel fate for being such a failure... Wow. Seriously, there was a path forming to the door and if he could just... Just make it across the room. If he could just hit one more creature and somehow make it, then it would be home free! Er, well.. No actually it would be running away but look if he could hardly handle one or two of these on his own, he severely needed the help that he knew waited outside the front door. For a few moments longer he lay there, despondent and defeated until with a triumphant growl he was up on his knees, fists swinging. Where the sudden energy had come from didn't really matter, only that it was here and that he was trying. And finally, finally, his efforts paid off and the creatures all vanished. At least enough for him to make his way out of the room. Only now he was tired again so maybe he would just... Go slow... Kiwi stirred slowly, his mind ringing with the images and voices of bygone days, mingling into the whispers of things that still refused to settle entirely. His head spun as he sat up and with a quiet groan began to massage his temples. Not that it really helped, but at least it could distract him.
His eyes cracked open, and that was when he noticed it. A tiny black mass, and glowing eyes staring up to him. And in the distance, he could hear the shouts of other horsemen.
What was ... this?? ... Was there trouble afoot in the reserve?? ...
The horseman slipped out of his tent, and gazed out across the clan grounds. There seemed to be a crowd gathering at the lair. Well, whatever the little minipet was here for could wait. If anything got out of hand surely his other animal friends would take care of it.
Kiwi forced himself out into the open air, and hurried towards the others.

Slowly waking up from her dreams, Khetyn was just a little moody in what she had learned when returning home. One eye opened up to spot the strange thing in her room and the other one opened up to see more of them eating the things in her room. Khetyn was not going to let this happen even if she didn't have much but what she did have she wasn't not want to lose. "Die you stupid think," she yelled at it throwing a random thing at it.

Now that Khetyn was now out of bed, she summons her weapon. Staring at the shadowling as she didn't want it to eat anymore of her things since it was just a waste for it to do such a thing. Khetyn just wanted it to die or go away or even both. Slashing at it with her weapon and missing as she took a little damage herself from it.

Not happy that she had missed the shadowling as Khetyn's wings did russled in her frustration. What would she give for a really big hammer, then she just squash the shadowling like a bug.
Once more Khetyn slashed at the shadowling and this time she didn't miss but it didn't miss as well.

Glaring at the shadowling did Khetyn slash again at it and glad that she didn't totally miss it. All she wanted was it to die to find out just who at let these things loose in the first place.

Thinking to slash the shadowling again proved to be a bad choice as Khetyn had this time totally missed hitting it. She hissed at it as she gave her wings a flap in frustration before they folded back in. This thing just needed to die now!!

Alright she was totally done with this and it had gone on far to long. This time around Khetyn decided that she was going to kick the shadowling as hard as she could. Staring at the creature as she carefully got close to it and drawing her foot up and then kicking the shadowling as hard as she could, still taking a little damage from it. But the kick had worked as it swayed a little and then disapateing.
Smiling that now that thing was gone and what little she did have in her room was safe for at least now. That Khetyn left her room to find out why this thing was in her room and to find out who done it.
